25 Baptism

IV. Creation3 [The Cross]

1. Baptism

   Circumcision

Col.2:11 in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;

Col.2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Col.2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses;

God promised the Seed of a woman who would crush the head of the serpent.[1] Circumcision is a covenant. Faith in God's word that God will send the Seed, is expressed by circumcising the flesh of foreskin from where the seed is given. Circumcision is an expression of faith that the promised Seed will come to this realm of sin to judge sin and save me from sin. Because of this, circumcision contains a promise to keep the commandments. The circumcised man confirms his faith in the promise by cutting off the flesh of his foreskin through which the promised Seed will come. Therefore, through circumcision, the heart that does not belong to God is cut off, and only the heart that belongs to God remains. The death and resurrection of the cross which was revealed through circumcision in the old Testament, is expressed through baptism in the new Testament. Therefore, through baptism, my old self dies and I am reborn as a new person belonging to God.[2] Baptism here refers specifically to the baptism of God the Holy Spirit.[3]

Ezek.31:16 I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to Sheol with those who descend into the pit; and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the lower parts of the earth.

Ezek.31:17 They also went down into Sheol with him to those who are slain by the sword; yes, those who were his arm, [that] lived under his shadow in the midst of the nations.

Ezek.31:18 To whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shall you be brought down with the trees of Eden to the lower parts of the earth: you shall lie in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord Yahweh.

Those who fail to cut off their desire for sin will be condemned and brought under judgment.

Gen.17:13 He who is born in your house, and he who is bought with your money, must be circumcised. My covenant will be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

Gen.17:14 The uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people. He has broken my covenant."

Gen.17:15 God said to Abraham, "As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but her name will be Sarah.

Gen.17:16 I will bless her, and moreover I will give you a son by her. Yes, I will bless her, and she will be a mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her."

Circumcision is an expression of faith that we believe in God's promise to send the Seed of a woman who will judge Satan[4], also believe in God's promise to make us inherit the land of Canaan[5], the 1000-year kingdom.[6] Circumcision is also my promise that I who believe in that promise, will live as a creature worthy of that promise.[7] Therefore, circumcision is a promise to put off the sinful nature[8] and the old self[9], a promise to die to sin and live for righteousness[10], and a promise to love and obey God.[11]

As such, since circumcision expresses the promise of love, 'I will love God and my neighbors because I believe in the promise God has given me', by cutting off the foreskin, the substance of circumcision is love, that is, keeping the commandments of love. It means that it is not a matter of cutting off the skin. Since the days, months, seasons, and years were merely shadows foreshadowing the coming of the LORD Jesus, they had no meaning after the coming of the LORD Jesus, the reality.[12] Likewise, circumcision which was an expression of belief[13] that the Messiah will come and establish the kingdom of righteousness, is meaningless[14] when the Messiah[15], the LORD Jesus[16], actually comes.[17] Because the days and feasts have been fulfilled[18], and the Messiah Himself has come.[19] Because the Messiah came, the shadows that were types of the Messiah, were absorbed into the Messiah, the reality.[20] Therefore, it is now important to submit to the Messiah and prepare the kingdom that the Messiah will accomplish, just as we have promised to do so[21] through circumcision.[22] It became no longer important to keep the forms that were shadows.[23]

It is only through God the Holy Spirit[24] that circumcision originally intended, to die to sin and live to righteousness.[25] True circumcision is accomplished through God the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the reality of circumcision which was a shadow, is the baptism of God the Holy Spirit.[26]

Ex.4:22 You shall tell Pharaoh, 'Thus says Yahweh, Israel is my son, my firstborn,

Ex.4:23 and I have said to you, "Let my son go, that he may serve me;" and you have refused to let him go. Behold, I will kill your son, your firstborn.'"

The firstborn are those who will confirm the judgment against lawbreakers by proving the truthfulness of the commandments through the resurrction and the transformation.[27] If the firstborn, the images of God, are resurrected or transformed[28], it proves that creatures can overcome death by keeping the commandments.[29] It means that even if God judges Satan who tramples on his neighbors by claiming that 'God is irrational One who force the commandments that creatures cannot keep'[30], the creatures no longer misunderstand God as irrational.[31] Since the firstborn confirms Satan's judgment[32], Satan somehow tries to prevent the firstborn[33] who keep the commandments of love, being resurrected or transformed.[34]

Ex.4:24 It happened on the way at a lodging place, that Yahweh met him and wanted to kill him.

Ex.4:25 Then Zipporah took a flint, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet; and she said, "Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me."

Ex.4:26 So he let him alone. Then she said, "You are a bridegroom of blood," because of the circumcision.

Circumcision, or baptism[35], is a symbol of the death of the old self and resurrection into a new creation.[36] It is a symbol of dying to sin and living to righteousness.[37] It is the proof of keeping the commandments and overcoming sin, and it is the proof of the resurrection and the transformation through victory over death.[38] Circumcision, or baptism, is the symbol of being born again as God's people[39] through God the Holy Spirit.[40] Because circumcision, or baptism, is a symbol of the resurrection and the transformation, being circumcised or baptized means becoming the firstborn[41], the people of God who will prove the truthfulness of the commandments and confirm Satan's judgment. Moses who had been commissioned to lead the Israelites as the true firstborn of God, did not give his son the seal of the firstborn.[42] Moses who was to prepare the way for the LORD Jesus to destroy Satan, had not escaped destruction even himself.

Lev.19:23 When you shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then you shall count the fruit of it as their uncircumcision: three years shall they be as uncircumcised to you; it shall not be eaten.

Lev.26:40 They shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and also that, because they walked contrary to me,

Lev.26:41 I also walked contrary to them, and brought them into the land of their enemies: if then their uncircumcised heart be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity;

Lev.26:42 then will I remember my covenant with Jacob; and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

The covenant made with God in the past, can be effective again only when we give up our desire to sin and our desire to live for ourselves rather than for God.[43] If we are not circumcised, that is, baptized even in our hearts[44], it is of no use to be baptized on the outside.[45]

Deut.10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.

Deut.30:6 Yahweh your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.

Josh.5:2 At that time Yahweh said to Joshua, Make you flint knives, and circumcise again the children of Israel the second time.

Josh.5:3 Joshua made himself flint knives, and circumcised the children of Israel at the hill of the foreskins.

Josh.5:4 This is the cause why Joshua did circumcise: all the people who came forth out of Egypt, who were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came forth out of Egypt.

Josh.5:5 For all the people who came out were circumcised; but all the people who were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Egypt, they had not circumcised.

Josh.5:9 Yahweh said to Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Therefore the name of that place was called Gilgal, to this day.

Circumcision, or baptism, is the renewing of the heart to forsake sins and the receiving of God the Holy Spirit.[46] Only those who have been baptized, who have received God the Holy Spirit, can overcome the sinful desires through God the Holy Spirit.[47] Only through obedience to God the Holy Spirit[48] can we bear the fruit of righteous deeds according to the level that God originally inteded.[49] To fight Satan fraudswarms that break the commandments, we must first become the one who keep the commandments of love.[50] We must be circumcised, baptized. In other words, we must receive God the Holy Spirit.

Is.52:1 Awake, awake, put on your strength, Zion; put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Those who are not circumcised, who are not baptized, who do not forsake their sins, who rebel against God and trample their neighbors[51], who do not obey God the Holy Spirit[52], will not survive the judgment of the LORD Jesus. They will be burned in the lake of fire.[53]

Jer.4:3 For thus says Yahweh to the men of Judah and to Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and don't sow among thorns.

Jer.4:4 Circumcise yourselves to Yahweh, and take away the foreskins of your heart, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn so that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

The original meaning of circumcision was to cut off the skin of the heart, that is, a sinful heart, and submit to God. Circumcision, or baptism, is to cut off the thorns and thistles that come up from the heart[54], the desires of the flesh[55], and to be born again[56] to reap the fruits of righteousness.[57]

Jer.6:10 To whom shall I speak and testify, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they can't listen: behold, the word of Yahweh is become to them a reproach; they have no delight in it.

Those who do not have ears to hear[58], those who do not obey God the Holy Spirit, cannot hear the word of God.[59]

Ezek.44:9 Thus says the Lord Yahweh, No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any foreigners who are among the children of Israel.

God will burn all the creatures[60] except the creatures that are subject to God's rule of love[61].

Acts7:51 "You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.

Those who have not been circumcised, that is, baptized, disobey God the Holy Spirit.

Rom.2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;

Rom.2:29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

The firstborn are the images of God.[62] God created Adam in order to establish the commandments as the basis of judgment and to judge those who break the commandments.[63] God first chose Israel to perfect humans as the images of God.[64] God wanted to perfect all humans as His image through Israel.[65] It does not matter whether we are outward children of Abraham or not[66], but whether we are the images of God or not.[67] Most of the Israelites who were first chosen to be the image of God[68], refused to become the image of God.[69] Now mainly Gentiles become the image of God.[70] So, as of 2022, there are more descendants of Abraham recognized by God, among Gentiles than among Jews.[71] But before the LORD Jesus comes again, many Jews will become the image of God.[72] Because of God's mercy to Israel, the Gentiles also received mercy, but now that Israel has rejected God, through God's mercy to the Gentiles, Israel will gain mercy again.[73] The Gentiles came to know God through Israel, but in the meantime Israel left God. But now, through the Gentiles, Israel will come to know God again. Israel who was called first, but left, will be called again.[74] God simply called Abraham first so that all nations would become God's people.[75] It is important whether they are the images of God or not.[76] It does not matter whether or not they are descendants of the one who was called a little earlier.[77]

Rom.4:11 He received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while he was in uncircumcision, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they be in uncircumcision, that righteousness might also be accounted to them.

Rom.4:12 The father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had in uncircumcision.

Abraham was justified by faith in the coming Messiah[78], he did righteousness[79], and as a sign of faith he circumcised himself.[80] As the true descendants of Abraham, we too receive forgiveness of sins through faith in the Messiah who has come[81], do righteousness[82], and are baptized as a sign of faith.[83]

Gal.6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

Because the original meaning of circumcision, is to be born again to die to sin and live to righteousness[84], circumcision which used to be a symbol of reborn, is now absorbed into real reborn[85], the baptism of God the Holy Spirit.[86]

Baptism of God the Holy Spirit

Matt.3:13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him.

Matt.3:14 But John would have hindered him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and you come to me?"

Matt.3:15 But Jesus, answering, said to him, "Allow it now, for this is the fitting way for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed him.

Matt.3:16 Jesus, when he was baptized, went up directly from the water: and behold, the heavens were opened to him. He saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming on him.

Matt.3:17 Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Matt.4:1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

When the Son is baptized, heaven is opened, God the Holy Spirit descends on the Son, and the Father testifies about the Son. John baptized with water, but God the Holy Spirit came down like a dove and stayed on the LORD Jesus. If so, was the LORD Jesus baptized by God the Holy Spirit at this time?

The Son was conceived by God the Holy Spirit.[87] I believe that at the moment of conception, the Son received the fullness of God the Holy Spirit[88], and has always been filled with God the Holy Spirit ever since. The Son never sinned.[89] If the Son had overcome sin without the fullness of God the Holy Spirit, the Son could not have been an example for us to keep the commandments.[90] Because the sinful desires rises from the cursed flesh[91], we who are clothed with the cursed flesh, cannot overcome sin without the fullness of God the Holy Spirit.[92] If the Son kept the commandments by His own strength without the fullness of God the Holy Spirit, the Son would have overcome sin by not taking the cursed flesh or by receiving other help that we cannot obtain. Then the Son cannot command us to love God and our neighbors.[93]

John also received the fullness of the Holy Spirit from his mother's womb[94], but I believe that it is different from God the Holy Spirit coming upon the Son. Because the atonement for sins has not yet been accomplished through the blood of the cross, God the Holy Spirit does not enter into the body of sinners. Therefore, even the saints cannot yet become a temple that God the Holy Spirit lives.[95] It is speculated that before the Son came, the Spirit of Yahweh was above the saints as in the old Testament times.[96] I believe that the fullness of God the Holy Spirit would come on the day of Pentecost, after the Son was forsaken on the cross.[97] Since the resurrected LORD Jesus told His disciples to recieve the Holy Spirit[98], God the Holy Spirit must have come at this time as well. However, since the word 'fullness' does not appear, I do not know whether God the Holy Spirit fully came at this time.

After the resurrection, the LORD Jesus appeared to more than 500 disciples at once.[99] But after the ascension, it seems that only about 120 disciples were gathered in the upper room.[100] I do not know where 380 out of 500 went or why. In any case, seeing that Paul expressed them as 'most of 500 are still living'[101], it is believed that they also followed the LORD Jesus in this time of extreme persecution.

The place where the disciples were filled with God the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost[102] must have been the open space of Jerusalem, not the upper room.[103] Considering that it was a place where many people gathered[104] and expressed as 'house'[105], it is presumed that it was probably God's house, the temple.[106] Perhaps at this time, for the first time in history, God the Holy Spirit came to the saints in full.

When God the Holy Spirit came like a dove after the Son was baptized, it seems that the Son who had already been filled with God the Holy Spirit, was not filled with the Holy Spirit, but rather the time when He received the anointing for the start of His mission.[107] Around AD 30, when the Son was baptized and died on the cross, the 69 weeks came to an end.[108]

The LORD Jesus came into Hades as Adam who was clothed with a cursed dust from which thorns and thistles rise[109], that is, a soulish flesh[110] from which the sinful desires rise.[111] Therefore, the LORD Jesus, the Word, must also be filled with God the Holy Spirit in order to keep the commandments.[112] The saints who have received the Word can keep the commandments only when they receive the fullness of God the Holy Spirit[113] because of their cursed flesh.[114] But if the LORD Jesus could have kept the commandments without the fullness of God the Holy Spirit, it would mean that the LORD Jesus was not clothed with the cursed flesh like us from which the sinful desires rise. If the LORD Jesus had not been clothed with the cursed flesh like us, He could not be our example in the fight against sin in the cursed flesh.[115] However, the LORD Jesus put on the cursed flesh with the same desires for sin[116] as we do[117], and lived a life[118] perfectly free from sin.[119] Therefore, it is evident that from the moment of conception, the LORD Jesus dwelt in the fullness of God the Holy Spirit. When the LORD Jesus was baptized by John the baptist, God the Holy Spirit descended like a dove. I think this is the anointing related to the work of the Messiah, the Christ.

Perhaps there is an opinion that God the Holy Spirit who came like the early rain when the LORD Jesus was conceived, came on Him like the latter rain when the LORD Jesus began His mission. However, there may be an opinion that this is not the case when we look at the disciples who showed similar power to the LORD Jesus[120], even though God the Holy Spirit came only as the early rain.[121] In any case, I believe that the same results cannot be expected of the LORD Jesus who completely obeyed God the Holy Spirit[122], and His disciples who often do not completely obey God the Holy Spirit even though they received God the Holy Spirit.[123]

When the Messiah was baptized with water by John the baptist, God the Holy Spirit came upon the LORD Jesus, so the baptism of God the Holy Spirit also occurred at the same time. The baptism of God the Holy Spirit which is different from the water baptism, is also different from the baptism of the cross.[124] From a ministry point of view[125], the baptism of God the Holy Spirit that the Messiah received, was probably a baptism for baptism of fire[126], that is, the baptism of the cross.[127] It seems that the work of the Messiah[128] was partially[129] completed[130] only through the baptism of the cross.[131] The work of the Messiah coming again and burning the 1st heaven and the 1st earth[132] and imprisoning Satan fraudswarms in they abyss[133], can also be seen as a kind of baptism of fire. But the final baptism of fire[134] will come to an end[135] when the Messiah who sits on the great white throne, throws all evil creatures under sin into the lake of fire.[136]

The baptism of fire which the LORD Jesus received, is expressed as martyrdom through the witnesses.[137] Although the LORD Jesus was forsaken by His Father[138] as a sinner[139] who took our sins on the cross[140], the martyr witnesses fall asleep[141] as the righteous in God.[142] The blood of the LORD Jesus is the atoning blood for the forgiveness of our sins[143], but the blood of the martyrs is the blood of pleading for the judgment[144] of the criminals.[145] (Some might argue that the blood of the LORD Jesus is the blood of atonement and the blood of avengement[146] that cries out for judgment, at the same time.[147])

John1:31 I didn't know him, but for this reason I came baptizing in water: that he would be revealed to Israel."

John1:32 John testified, saying, "I have seen the Spirit descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.

John1:33 I didn't recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water, he said to me, 'On whoever you will see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.'

John1:34 I have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God."

After being baptized by John, the Son led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. After some time, the time John testifies of the Son, is when the Son returns from the desert after overcoming the temptation. The next day the Son calls His disciples.[148] The Son is the One who baptizes with God the Holy Spirit.[149]

The baptism of God the Holy Spirit and John's baptism of repentance are different.[150] After the baptism of repentance, there is the baptism of God the Holy Spirit.[151]

Rom.6:3 Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

Rom.6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Rom.6:5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;

The saints who were baptized with God the Holy Spirit died with the LORD Jesus and were resurrected with the LORD Jesus[152], so we became a completely new person.[153] Through God the Holy Spirit, our sinful old self died and we are reborn as a righteous new self.[154] Previously we lived to do our own will[155], now we live to do the will of the LORD Jesus.[156] Previously we were subject only to our own desires[157], now we obey the words of the LORD Jesus.[158] Previously we depended on the power of the flesh to live[159], but now we live on the power of God the Holy Spirit.[160] If we did not bear any fruit of righteousness before when we depended only on our own flesh[161], we are now bearing the fruit of God the Holy Spirit through God the Holy Spirit.[162] We were dead and we had no choice but to perish[163] while focusing on the things of our corruptible flesh[164], but we are now alive through life from God the Holy Spirit[165], and we are able to use our bodies to fulfill the will of the LORD Jesus.[166] We were bound to our cursed flesh and could only do cursed actions[167], but now that God the Holy Spirit has come upon us, we can overcome the lusts of our flesh.[168] When we do not submit to the lusts of our flesh, but obey God the Holy Spirit and produce the fruit of righteousness[169], death[170] will no longer hold us captive.[171] Just as the LORD Jesus who overcame sin, overcame death and was raised again[172], we who have overcome sin through God the Holy Spirit will also overcome death and be raised again.[173]

A. Pentecost

The day of Pentecost is also called the Feast of Weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and it symbolizes the coming of God the Holy Spirit. The Feast of Firstfruits which symbolizes the resurrection of the LORD Jesus, is held 49 days before the Feast of Weeks. After the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep comes on the Feast of Firstfruits[174], 49 days pass and on the 50th day the Feast of Weeks, the saints who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, come out.[175]

Lev.23:15 You shall count to you from the next day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave-offering; seven Sabbaths shall there be complete:

Lev.23:16 even to the next day after the seventh Sabbath shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meal-offering to Yahweh.

Lev.23:17 You shall bring out of your habitations two wave-loaves of two tenth parts [of an ephah]: they shall be of fine flour, they shall be baked with yeast, for first fruits to Yahweh.

Lev.23:18 You shall present with the bread seven lambs without blemish a year old, and one young bull, and two rams: they shall be a burnt offering to Yahweh, with their meal-offering, and their drink-offerings, even an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Yahweh.

Lev.23:19 You shall offer one male goat for a sin-offering, and two he-lambs a year old for a sacrifice of peace-offerings.

Lev.23:20 The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave-offering before Yahweh, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to Yahweh for the priest.

Lev.23:21 You shall make proclamation on the same day; there shall be a holy convocation to you; you shall do no servile work: it is a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

The firstfruits of keeping the commandments are produced[176] only when God the Holy Spirit comes on the saints whose sins are forgiven by the blood of the LORD Jesus.[177] A large number of martyr witnesses who will prove the truthfulness of the commandments and expose Satan's lies, have come forth.[178] God writes His law written on stone tablets into the tablets of our hearts through God the Holy Spirit[179], so that martyr witnesses who keep the commandments up to their original intentions, come out.[180] Satan claims that the commandments that God has given to His creatures to keep, are something they cannot keep.[181] Since the wages of sin is death[182], Adam can never overcome death and be resurrected or transformed, if the law to love God and neighbors is truly unable to keep. But the appointed number of martyr witnesses will surely overcome death.[183] Satan's claims will turn out to be false.[184] The commandments will be convinced by the creatures as proper basis for judgment.[185]

God the Holy Spirit who came to the disciples, has been producing His firstfruits until now.[186] In due time, God the Holy Spirit will produce even the 144000 firstfruits.[187] This period when God the Holy Spirit comes and produces those who have the firstfruits of the Spirit and the firstfruits who are redeemed from among men, is the Day of Pentecost. Through the baptism of God the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, God will complete the appointed number of martyr witnesses who keep the commandments. If God seals even the 144000 the last firstfruits[188], the way of the LORD Jesus who comes to judge the sinners who break the commandments and trample their neighbors, is prepared.[189] The Feast of Trumpets begins.

John3:3 Jesus answered him, "Most assuredly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can't see the Kingdom of God."

John3:4 Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"

John3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!

John3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John3:7 Don't marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.'

The baptism of God the Holy Spirit is a new birth.[190] In those who put on the cursed flesh and lived only according to the lusts of the flesh[191], God the Holy Spirit gives rise to a new longing.[192] God the Holy Spirit becomes a new way to escape from destruction[193] to those who had no choice but to perish[194], following the lusts of the flesh[195] without any strength to resist.[196] Those who have received God the Holy Spirit, those who have reached the Day of Pentecost, are governed by God's reign of love[197], and they are set free from all curses[198] and become God's people[199] governed by the law of righteousness.[200]

John14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

God the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth.[201] Therefore, those who receive God the Holy Spirit come to understand God's will[202] and live according to God's will[203] in order to please God.[204] Although God the Holy Spirit gives different gifts to various saints in various ways[205], the common and greatest characteristic of those who have God the Holy Spirit[206], is to practice righteousness[207] in the truth.[208]

B. Anointing

Luke4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, Because he anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim release to the captives, Recovering of sight to the blind, To deliver those who are crushed,

The coming of God the Holy Spirit is expressed as anointing.

Acts10:38 even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

When God the Holy Spirit comes upon us, we do God's work. To be anointed means to be entrusted with a mission.[209] Mission of God is entrusted to those who are baptized with God the Holy Spirit.[210] Along with the mission, God also pours out the ablility to carry out that mission.[211]

Acts19:4 Paul said, "John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the one who would come after him, that is, on Jesus."

Acts19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts19:6 When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke with other languages, and prophesied.

In the name of the LORD Jesus, God the Holy Spirit comes[212], and those who receive God the Holy Spirit, speak in tongues and prophecy.

1Cor.12:12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.

1Cor.12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.

All saints are members of Christ who have One Holy Spirit.[213] God the Holy Spirit bestows gifts on each of the saints for the common good of the church, the body of Christ.[214]

2Cor.1:21 Now he who establishes us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God;

2Cor.1:22 who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.

God the Holy Spirit comes in our hearts as a guarantee. He becomes our seal, confirming that we are God's possession. If we are sealed, we can avoid disasters[215], but only God's people who obey God's word[216] and fight against Satan, are sealed.[217]

Heb.6:1 Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection -- not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,

Heb.6:2 of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

There is water baptism, there is the baptism of God the Holy Spirit[218], and there is also the baptism of the cross.[219]

1John2:20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know the truth.

The saints who are anointed by God the Holy Spirit know everything they need to know.[220] Because God the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth.[221]

1John2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

God the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, reminds us of the word of God.[222] God the Holy Spirit makes the saints know the thoughts of God.[223] God the Holy Spirit is the eyes of the saints to see[224], the heart to understand[225], and the ears to hear.[226]

Those who are anointed by God the Holy Spirit who have received a mission, are born anew, understand God's will, become witnesses of the LORD Jesus, and strive to benefit the church, the body of Christ. God the Holy Spirit guarantees them as God's possessions, delivers them from tribulation, and is with them with power so that they can fulfill the mission entrusted to them.[227]

Baptism of water (Baptism of the word)

A. Washing feet and the basin

John13:8 Peter said to him, "You will never wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "If I don't wash you, you have no part with me."

John13:9 Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!"

John13:10 Jesus said to him, "Someone who has bathed only needs to have their feet washed, but is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you."

The washing of the feet here is reminiscent of the scene where the priest washes his hands and feet in the basin before entering the temple. Even those who have bathed in the blood of the cross, the altar of burnt offering, can enter the temple only after washing their hands and feet in the basin.[228] Even if we have received forgiveness of sins through the blood of the LORD Jesus, we must live a life of obedience to the LORD Jesus in order to reach the end of faith[229], that is, salvation.[230] We have to prove the truthfulness of our faith[231] through the fruit of God the Holy Spirit[232], so that all other creatures can understand[233] that our faith in the LORD Jesus is true.[234] How can our neighboring creatures see our faith that has not been revealed[235], and how can they praise the justice of the LORD Jesus when they see the judgment that is made in an incomprehensible state?[236] God knows everything[237], but creatures can only[238] see[239] what is seen.[240] Because God made the creatures that way, He judges by revealing all actions[241] and intentions[242] involved so that they can see everything about judgment.[243]

A belief that does not manifest itself in action is not a belief. Therefore, whether I believe or not is judged by my actions. Because judgment is based on the objective actions that creatures can see, if he/she claims to believe in the LORD Jesus but does something that a believer cannot do, his/her faith is proven false. How will the Judge convince the creatures who can only see what they can see, whether the faith of the one standing before the judgment seat is true or not? If God says, 'Even though he/she does not want to stop trampling on his/her neighbors, but his/her faith is sincere.' and God delivers him/her from the punishment he/she deserves, can the creatures who look at the judgment be sure of God's justice? The believer will act righteously, and the unbeliever will sin. He/She who does righteous deeds is a believer, and he/she who sins is an unbeliever. Therefore, those who do not believe are thrown into the lake of fire. In other words, anyone who will not obey the LORD Jesus is thrown into the lake of fire. Of course, there may be some who are not mature yet. A person who has not grown up can live forever even when he/she is still immature, but being young and rebelling are two different things.

Those who realize their sins through the law[244] and seek forgiveness for their sins that have disobeyed the LORD Jesus until now, have the LORD Jesus as their Lord and make a covenant to love God and their neighbors by obeying the LORD Jesus from now on.[245] Believing in the LORD Jesus. Those who have made a covenant to love God and their neighbors receive forgiveness of sins through the blood of the LORD Jesus.[246] The covenant is made through the blood of the LORD Jesus.[247] God the Holy Spirit comes upon those who have received forgiveness of sins and becomes the strength to overcome sin.[248] Righteous actions are the fruit of God the Holy Spirit, because they are produced through God the Holy Spirit, not done by one's own efforts.[249] Although the fruit appears as my action, the action was not achieved through my efforts.[250] One's own efforts can never produce the fruit of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.[251] Through the fruit of righteousness produced through God the Holy Spirit, it is confirmed whether his/her faith is truly sincere.[252] No creature dares to accuse him/her of falsehood of his/her faith, confirmed by the fruit of righteousness. He/She is truly a believer in the LORD Jesus. So he/she can survive without being thrown into the lake of fire.

Even if we do righteous deeds[253], the source of our righteous deeds is God's grace, not our efforts.[254] Because it is God the Holy Spirit who governs us, so that we can perform those righteous deeds.[255] We cannot control even the sinful desires[256] that rise from our cursed flesh[257] by our own strength.[258] Therefore, since our faith which is revealed through our actions, is ultimately revealed through God the Holy Spirit[259], our righteous actions are not 'acts' that we try to imitate but 'fruits' that God the Holy Spirit produces. Even so, If we do not submit to God the Holy Spirit[260], He will not force us to bear fruit.[261]

The LORD Jesus will judge both[262] deeds and intentions[263], but we cannot escape His judgment by trying to do good in our own strength. It is because righteous deeds[264] that can prove[265] whether our faith is ture or not[266], cannot even be imitated without the help of God the Holy Spirit.[267] Since we are but branches[268], we will never bear good fruit unless we are grafted onto a good tree.[269] The LORD Jesus who had compassion on me who had no choice but to perish[270], covered me with His blood, forgave my sins and made me righteous. Nevertheless, if I do not submit to His reign of love[271] and stop trampling on my neighbors[272], even for the sake of my neighbors who are trampled by me[273], the LORD Jesus will not save me.[274] The forgiveness of my sins is canceled[275] because I trample on the blood of the LORD Jesus[276] and deviate from the path of salvation[277], not because the LORD Jesus made me the one to be burned in the lake of fire in the first place.[278] The LORD Jesus respects the free will He has given me.[279]

Eph.5:26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,

Water in the basin represents the word of God.

Ezek.16:9 Then washed I you with water; yes, I thoroughly washed away your blood from you, and I anointed you with oil.

God washed away our sins of bloodshed with His word and anointed us with oil which means God the Holy Spirit.[280]

Ezek.36:25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

The water of the word washes away sins from me and purifies me.

Zech.13:1 "In that day there will be a spring opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

The water of the word washes away sins and impurity.

John3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!

Water is the word. Only by being born anew through the word and God the Holy Spirit, can we obey God's law and God's rule is established over us. The LORD Jesus, the Word[281], lived righteously from the beginning[282] because He was conceived by God the Holy Spirit[283], but we can live righteously only after receiving the word of God and being born again through God the Holy Spirit.[284]

1Pet.1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

Through the word which is the seed, we are born anew.

1Cor.6:11 Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

Titus2:14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

The Son has given up everything so that we may become a people doing good, that is, the work of God.

Titus3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

God saved me not by my works, but by the washing of rebirth and the renewing of God the Holy Spirit. God made me reborn through the water of the word, the seed. The sinful desires rises from the flesh.[285] We cannot be renewed in the spirit of our mind by works of the flesh.[286]

Heb.9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

We wash our conscience with the blood of the Son.[287]

Heb.10:22 let's draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water,

By sprinkling the blood of the Son on our hearts, our evil conscience are cleansed, and having our bodies washed with pure water of the word.

1Pet.3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you - not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Through water baptism, my conscience which was dead toward God, is revived. By being immersed in the word, sin dies and righteousness lives.[288]

B. Baptism of the flood

Noah's ark in the last days is a spiritual body. Only resurrected or transformed saints can put on a spiritual body. The ark symbolizes the Son. When God judged the earth and covered it with water, He raised those who were in the ark from the water. The resurrected or transformed body is a spiritual body[289] that the Father will clothe us[290] through God the Holy Spirit who comes in the name of the Son.[291] When the 7th trumpet is sounded and the earth is judged and covered with the 7 plagues[292], the resurrected or transformed saints will be lifted up into the air.[293] Those who participate in the 1st resurrection[294] which is the better resurrection[295], will also avoid the judgment of the lake of fire.[296] The water of judgment symbolizes the water above the expanse, the boundary between Hades and the sea of glass.[297] God made those who were in the ark come out of the water when He judged the land before the flood, so that they could see the land after the flood. God makes His saints come out of the sea of glass[298] when He judges the 1st heaven and the 1st earth, so that they can see the new heaven and the new earth. (Of course, even after the flood, Noah is still in the 1st earth. Noah represents those who will inherit the new heaven and the new earth.) The water of the flood is not the true sea of glass which is the water above the expanse, but a symbol of the sea of glass. God revealed through Noah the model of the firstfruits[299] that can escape judgment[300] passing through the water above the expanse[301], when God judges the expanse[302] and the water under the expanse[303] which is the area where Satan fraudswarms are confined. All who were under the waters of the flood died, but those who were in the ark above the waters lived. Those who will participate in the 1st resurrection will also pass through the waters above the expanse to escape judgment and see the new heaven and the new earth when God judges the 1st heaven and the 1st earth with the 7 plagues.

①[in the heaven of angels] Will God allow His saints to pass through the sea of glass, the water above the expanse, so that they can actually enter the heaven of angels, and create the new heaven and the new earth within it? ②[in Hades] Or, will God put another realm of the new heaven and the new earth in Hades which is separated from the realm of Hades where He judges, and let them spend a period of 1000 years there? ③[renewed earth] Or, when we see Eden as the earth, will the Son regain the dominion over the earth that had been taken away by Satan(in another view, lost by sin), and would the new heaven and the new earth be established on the earth restored by the Son? I don't know.

In any case, the new heaven and the new earth are extensions of the earthly world[304], the realm that Satan cannot invade for 1000 years[305], the realm that has nothing to do with the 1st heaven and the 1st earth judged by the 7 plagues. There is a new Jerusalem in the new heaven and the new earth, and there is a throne in the new Jerusalem. The throne on which the Son sits, is the center of the creation world. New Jerusalem will be the capital of creation world for at least 1000 years.[306] Whether it is the realm of angels or the realm of Hades, the place where God, the core essence of all existence, dwells is the center of the creation world. The 1st heaven and the 1st earth will be burned before the kingdom is established for 1000 years[307], and after 1000 years, Satan will deceive the people of the new heaven and the new earth.[308] In my opinion, it is unlikely that God will extinguish the fire in the 1st heaven and the 1st earth that has already been lit, and restore it to paradise. Because the beast and the false prophet will still be burning after 1000 years.[309] Paradise is also the realm where Satan will rampage afer 1000 years. Whether on earth or in the abyss, Satan cannot escape Hades.[310] Therefore, it is likely that the new heaven and the new earth will also be established in Hades, just like the 1st heaven and the 1st earth.

1Pet.3:20 who before were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited patiently in the days of Noah, while the ark was being built. In it, few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.

1Pet.3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you - not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Baptism is the resurrection of the conscience which was dead in sin, to righteousness. Those who have died to God, come to know God's love and to love God.[311] By being immersed in the water, the word of God, my old sinful self within me dies and I am raised as a righteous new self. Conscience that was dead in sin, is revived by being immersed in the water of the word. Things that belong to Satan die from the water of the word, and things that belong to God, come to life.[312]

C. Baptism of the Red Sea

1Cor.10:1 Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

1Cor.10:2 and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

Crossing the Red Sea is baptism. The Red Sea which the Israelites crossed, symbolizes the sea of glass, the water above the expanse.[313] Only those who have died to sin and are alive to righteousness are clothed with the body of resurrection.[314] Only those who have passed through the cross can die to sin and live to righteousness.[315] They entered into the water as a soulish body from which sinful desires rise, but in the water their sinful desires die, and they come out being clothed with a spiritual body of resurrection. God represents the martyr witnesses who crossed the sea of glass by resurrecting[316], through the Israelites who crossed the Red Sea.[317] Of course the resurrection and the transformation will happen historically. However, baptism of God the Holy Spirit, a foreshadowing and guarantee of the resurrection[318], is already taking place in the present.[319]

This does not mean that the historical 1st resurrection is taking place now. But sin has no effect on those who are under God's reign in their hearts through God the Holy Spirit.[320] They are already in the kingdom of God[321] which will be accomplished in the new heaven and the new earth.[322] Therefore, it can be said that the 1st resurrection has begun for them.[323] However, the war is not over yet because Satan fraudswarms are still running rampage in Hades.[324] The 1st resurrection which actually appears after the war is almost over, will take place when the 7th trumpet is sounded.

Rev.15:2 I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

Rev.15:3 They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.

The Red Sea symbolizes the sea of glass. The Israelites who belonged to Moses and crossed the Red Sea, symbolize the martyr witnesses who belonged to the Lamb and crossed the sea of glass. Just as the Israelites sang the song of Moses after crossing the Red Sea which no one could cross, martyr witnesses also sing the song of the Lamb after crossing the sea of glass that sinners cannot cross. The resurrection and the transformation occur when the 7th trumpet sounds.[325] In order to cross the Red Sea, the sea had to be divided, but to cross the sea of glass, we must put on a spiritual body through the resurrection and the transformation.[326] Since the 7 plagues are poured out after the 7th trumpet is sounded, so this happen just before the 7 plagues. Therefore, the sea of glass mixed with fire at this time is considered to represent the judgment of the 7 plagues that is poured out on Hades under the sea of glass. After the LORD Jesus who came into the air[327], pours out the 7 plagues on the earth, He comes down to the earth with His heavenly army and throws the beast and the false prophet into the lake of fire.[328]

D. John's baptism of Repentance

Matt.3:6 They were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.

Matt.3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism, he said to them, "You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Matt.3:8 Therefore bring forth fruit worthy of repentance!

Matt.3:11 I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to carry. He shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit.

Those who have received the baptism of repentance, receive the forgiveness of sins, and those who have received the forgiveness of sins, receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit from the LORD Jesus.[329] Repentance is turning away from a life in which we have disobeyed God and trampled our neighbors.[330] In other words, to turn from the sins of breaking the commandments and doing iniquity.[331] A sinner cannot escape judgment if he/she turns from sins and keeps the commandments and does good.[332] We cannot even keep the law on our own to the level that God wants us to do[333], but above all, how will we pay the price for our sins we have been disobeying God until then?[334] The only reason a converted sinner can escape judgment is that the LORD Jesus pays for his/her sin[335] and that He gives him/her the strength to keep the commandments.[336] Creatures can have life only through the LORD Jesus.[337] Only those who have realized their sins through the law, come to the Messiah to have their sins forgiven.[338] John assumed the role of the law.[339] In particular, John is in charge of leading the people to the Creator who has come[340], unlike the prophets before who led the people to the coming Messiah.[341] And the disciples will receive orders directly from the Creator[342] who is the fulfillment of the law[343], and carry out their missions[344] through God the Holy Spirit.[345]

Because the LORD Jesus was conceived through God the Holy Spirit[346] and was already born from heaven[347], He does not need to be baptized[348] which symbolizes being born again through God the Holy Spirit.[349] Rather, John must be baptized into union with the death of the LORD Jesus.[350] Because the LORD Jesus was clothed in a cursed body with the same desires for sin as we do, the LORD Jesus could overcome sin only by submitting to God the Holy Spirit.[351] If the LORD Jesus had not put on the cursed flesh, it would have been meaningless to set us an example of holiness, commanding us to overcome sin. Because we are clothed with the cursed flesh.[352] The LORD Jesus, the Word, never sinned because He had been baptized with God the Holy Spirit from the moment He was conceived.[353] We who are in the cursed flesh, can overcome sin only through God the Holy Spirit.[354] If the LORD Jesus could have overcome sin without God the Holy Spirit, it would mean that the LORD Jesus did not have the same flesh as us. But the LORD Jesus also[355] had to[356] submit[357] to His Father's will[358] through God the Holy Spirit.[359] If we too understand the word of God and receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit, we will be able to overcome sin like the LORD Jesus.[360] God the Holy Spirit is present in the LORD Jesus, but why is the LORD Jesus being baptized by John?

When the LORD Jesus was baptized by John, God the Holy Spirit came upon the LORD Jesus like a dove, and from this point on, the LORD Jesus began to work.[361] Judging from this, even when God the Holy Spirit comes, there seems to be a separate anointing for ministry. The disciples also received God the Holy Spirit from the LORD Jesus[362] before receiving God the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.[363] David was also[364] anointed[365] 3 times.[366] Each time we receive an anointing, the scope of our kingship expands.

Before the LORD Jesus begins His ministry, the LORD Jesus is led by God the Holy Spirit into the desert.[367] Since the LORD Jesus begins His work immediately after the desert period, the going out of the LORD Jesus into the desert can be seen as going out to pass the test that must be passed in order to carry out His ministry.[368] However, the going out of the LORD Jesus into the desert can also be seen as a type of sending Azazel Satan away into the abyss.[369] After the LORD Jesus passed the test in the desert, angels attend the LORD Jesus. Even in the subsequent work of the LORD Jesus, the angels must have obeyed the will of the LORD Jesus.[370] When the saints carry out their work in the name of the LORD Jesus, angels also follow the LORD Jesus' commands to help the saints' work.[371]

In order for the LORD Jesus to give the angels the command to imprison Satan in the abyss[372], that is, for the LORD Jesus to execute Judgment on the transgression[373], it must be acknowledged in the creation world that rebelling against God and trampling upon one's neighbors is a sin. This is so that the creatures will not misunderstand God who burns and kills criminals, as cruel.[374] In order for the creatures to love God without hesitation, they must first understand that God's justice in burning and killing criminals is also because God loves His creatures.[375] Therefore, God first proves that trampling on a neighbor, that is, breaking the commandments of love, is a sin. It cannot be a sin to break the commandments that cannot be kept in the first place.[376] Rather, it would be wrong to force them to keep the commandments they cannot keep.[377] But the appointed number of martyr witnesses who keep the commandments will be established.[378] They will prove that the commandments of love are enough for creatures to keep, through their resurrection and transformation overcoming death.[379] The possibleness of observance of the commandments is demonstrated by overcoming death[380], because death holds on to the sin of breaking the commandments of love.[381] Only when these witnesses prove the truthfulness of the commandments[382] will the LORD Jesus imprison Satan in the abyss. Therefore, martyrs[383] are the appointed witnesses[384] to send Azazel Satan away into the wilderness abyss as those who are in readiness.[385] The appointed number of firstfruits who have proved the truthfulness of the commandments[386] through the resurrection and the transformation[387], send Azazel Satan away into the abyss. By overcoming all temptations of Satan in the desert[388] and keeping the commandments, the LORD Jesus first set the example of sending Azazel Satan away into the abyss.[389]

Mark1:4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching the baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins.

Mark1:8 I baptized you in water, but he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit."

The baptism of God the Holy Spirit is given to those who have been baptized with water of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.[390]

Luke3:3 He came into all the region around the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for remission of sins.

Luke3:16 John answered them all, "I indeed baptize you with water, but he comes who is mightier than I, the latchet of whose sandals I am not worthy to loosen. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire,

Luke3:17 whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor, and will gather the wheat into his barn; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

The LORD Jesus is the One who baptizes His people with God the Holy Spirit and baptizes the wiched with fire.[391] The LORD Jesus will baptize the chaff who are in the church but in fact belong to Satan, in the lake of fire.[392] If the LORD Jesus had not been baptized by fire on the cross in behalf of us[393], we would not have been able to escape baptism in the lake of fire because of our own sins.[394] But the LORD Jesus was forsaken by His Father in our behalf[395], so that we can come boldly to God[396] in His blood.[397]

Luke7:26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and much more than a prophet.

Luke7:27 This is he of whom it is written, 'Behold, I send my messenger before your face, Who will prepare your way before you.'

Luke7:28 "For I tell you, among those who are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptizer, yet he who is least in the Kingdom of God is greater than he."

Luke7:29 When all the people and the tax collectors heard this, they justified God, being baptized with John's baptism.

Luke7:30 But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the counsel of God, not being baptized by him themselves.

The reason the LORD Jesus said that John the baptist was more than a prophet, was not because one sinner named John was greater than other prophets, but because the mission God has entrusted to him through an angel was great.[398] (It was about 6 months before the Creator revealed Himself to His creation world.[399]) The other prophets carried out their missions for the coming LORD Jesus, but John the baptist was the one who prepared the way for God the Son in the presence of God the Son who was right behind him. Because it was before the LORD Jesus redeemed humans[400], John the baptist did not receive God the Holy Spirit.[401] Moreover, John the baptist died just before he became offended.stumbled.[402] (It does not mean he was offended. It means that around the time of his death he was not sure whether the LORD Jesus was the Messiah.) However, foolish disciples[403] will be greater than John the baptist[404] because they will receive orders[405] from God the Son directly[406], not through an angel[407], and carry out their missions through God the Holy Spirit.[408] It does not mean that the foolish disciples are great, but it means that the mission that the LORD Jesus who was exalted on the cross[409] entrusted to the foolish disciples and the grace that He bestowed on them, are great.[410]

Acts13:24 before his coming, when John had first preached the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

Those who were baptized by John repented and returned to the Messiah to come[411], and received the Son when He revealed Himself that He was the Messiah.[412] However, those who did not receive the baptism of repentance because they did not want to lose the wealth and honor of this world, refused to return to the Messiah[413], mistaking that they would be saved by observing the symbols that symbolize the Messiah.[414] And they rejected the Messiah when the Messiah came.[415]

Baptism of fire (Baptism of the blood)

When the baptism on the altar of burnt offering symbolizes the cross[416], it represents the 1st death[417], and when it symbolizes the lake of fire, it represents the 2nd death.[418] The 1st death[419] is the death of being forsaken by the Father[420], and the 2nd death is the death by burning in the lake of fire. The Son bore the sins of those who repented and suffered the 1st death, forsaken by His Father, and accomplished the atonement. The creatures under sin that reject the Son to the end, that is, Satan fraudswarms, will eventually enter into the 2nd death, the judgment of the lake of fire.

A. Bath, the Altar of Burnt Offering, and the Passover

Only those who have burned Satan in them and judge their sins on the altar of burnt offering, can be resurrected or transformed and pass through the sea of glass, the basin, and enter into the heaven of angels, the sanctuary.[421] Only those who are dead to sin can live to God and escape judgment.[422] When the 7th trumpet is sounded, it is the Feast of Trumpets.[423] The place where the saints enter after being resurrected or transformed, is the 1000-year kingdom. The martyr witnesses who become like angels through the resurrection[424], will enter new Jerusalem in the 1000-year kingdom, being clothed with a spiritual body not a soulish body[425] as now, but it seems that the 1000-year kingdom is not the heaven of angels. It might be a part of the heaven of angels, but it may not be the heaven of angels itself. There, many things in the earthen world are done the same.[426] There are even animals.[427] Also, for those who did not pass the test, there is still one more deception at the end of the 1000-year kingdom.[428] Although the 1000-year kingdom is a new heaven and a new earth, a paradise that has received the new Jerusalem coming down from above[429], considering the fact that Satan fraudswarms which cannot escape Hades[430], can operate, it may mean that the 1000-year kingdom is a part of Hades. I don't know what will happen after the great white throne judgment, but the 1000-year kingdom is probably not the heaven of angels itself.

John13:10 Jesus said to him, "Someone who has bathed only needs to have their feet washed, but is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you."

The sprinkling of the blood of the sacrifice poured from the altar of burnt offering before the throne and the burning of its flesh outside the camp[431] symbolizes the baptism of the cross.[432] This is also seen in the Passover of the slaughter of the Lamb.[433] The baptism of fire on the altar of burnt offering is the baptism of blood that washes away sins with the blood of the Son, that is, a bath. The atonement of the blood of the cross on the altar of burnt offering washes away sins of those who receive the Son, as a bath, but it does not wash away the sins of those who reject the Son.[434]

Heb.9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

The blood of the Son purifies the creation world.[435] In other words, the free will of the creatures who came to know God's love through the blood of the Son, will be completed[436] and they will not sin again.[437] Sinners who disobeyed and killed the Son will be judged, and there will be no more sinners in the creation world.[438] The blood of the Son is poured out on those who have received the Son and burned their sins, as salvation to cover their previous sins, and on those who reject the Son and trample their neighbors, it is poured out as judgment for their sins.[439] The blood of the Son is the saving blood of those who repent[440], by pouring out instead of the blood that should be poured out by those who have sinned but repent.[441] The blood of the Son is the blood of judgment for those who persist in sin, by revealing the iniquity of those who have spilled the blood of their neighbors, and making criminals pay for their sins by pouring out their own blood.[442] The Son leaves only the creatures in Him who reigns with love[443], and burns every evil creature that rebels against the Son by shedding the blood of their neighbors by making them cry out in terrible pain.[444] The creation world is purified by the blood of the Son, and rest is fulfilled in the creation world.[445]

Heb.9:12 nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption.

Heb.9:13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh:

Heb.9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The consciences of those who have been baptized in the blood of the Son, are purified, and they come to serve God and seek God.[446] Only the blood of the Son can enter the true most holy place. The blood is to prove the severity of the commandments. In order to atone for the sin of breaking the commandments, a price worthy of it must be paid. The commandments are just as important as the price paid for them. Therefore, in order to keep the creation world under the reign of the commandments, the sins of breaking the commandments must not be covered with the blood of a single creature. The blood also proves the truthfulness of the commandments. The Son took the very nature of a human whose flesh was cursed to produce the sinful desires[447], and kept all the commandments.[448] Therefore, it was first proved that the commandments can be kept and that the commandments are worthy to be the basis for judging the creartures who break the commandments. Also, the blood of the Son proves that God who gave the commandments of love, is love. God gave up His most and the only precious thing, everything[449], to save His creatures who broke the commandments.[450] The Father has forsaken His Son, and the Son has been forsaken by His Father. To the Father, His Son is everything[451], and to the Son, His Father is everything.[452] God's love for the creatures who receive the Son, is demonstrated by giving up all of Him to forgive their sins of breaking the commandments.[453] The covering of blood on the throne of the most holy place, means that salvation and judgment are confirmed. The only blood that God can cover on His throne in the most holy place, in order to show His love to creatures, to prove His justice, to complete creation, and to sustain the creation world, is the blood of the Creator Son Himself.[454]

B. Baptism of the crucifixion

Matt.26:28 for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins.

The baptism of the cross, the baptism of fire of the altar of burnt offering[455], becomes the baptism of blood that saves those who receive the Son.

Luke12:49 "I came to throw fire on the earth. I wish it were already kindled.

Luke12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!

Luke12:51 Do you think that I have come to give peace in the earth? I tell you, no, but rather division.

The LORD Jesus expresses His crucifixion as a baptism.

Heb.13:11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp.

Heb.13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.

Heb.13:13 Let us therefore go forth to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.

Being cut off from the Father and being forsaken, is the 1st death[456], and the 2nd death is that every sinner who has been forsaken, is burned up as much as their own sins and perishes in the lake of fire.[457] The LORD Jesus suffered the 1st death in our place.[458] Those who have been released from the 1st death and are accepted back to the Father by the blood of the LORD Jesus, will also be able to avoid the 2nd death of being burned in the lake of fire.[459]

On the Day of Atonement, just as the sacrifice was shed its blood by the altar of burnt offering and burned its flesh outside the camp[460], so the Son also shed His blood in Hades the altar of burnt offering and suffered the cross outside the city gate.[461] The suffering of the cross, symbolized by being burned, is the baptism of fire. The fire on the altar of burnt offering is the fire that burns sin[462], therefore, it symbolizes the lake of fire which burns Hades, the place where sin is confined[463], and even death, the wages of sin.[464] If I do not burn the sin within me and separate it from me quickly before the opportunity is over, the fire that burns sin will eventually burn me with my sin as well.[465] That is the 2nd death. Then, did the LORD Jesus suffer the 2nd death of being burned in the lake of fire in our behalf?

No. The LORD Jesus was not burned in the lake of fire in behalf of us. The LORD Jesus was forsaken by His Father in behalf of us. The LORD Jesus was forsaken, not annihilated.[466] Those who are forsaken by the Father are eventually burned to the extent of their sins[467] and annihilated in the lake of fire with death according to God's justice.[468] The essence of the atonement on the cross is to be cut off from the Father and forsaken instead[469], so that those who accept the atonement and forsake their sins, are given an opportunity to avoid the extinction of the lake of fire.[470] The atonement does not mean that the LORD Jesus is unconditionally burned in his/her place and consumed in his/her place, regardless of whether someone has forsaken his/her sin or continues to have it. Even if they believed in the LORD Jesus and received forgiveness of their sins for a time[471], if they betray the covenant with the LORD Jesus[472] and return to sin[473], they will be burned in the lake of fire as much as their sins according to God's justice[474] and will eventually be extinct.[475] The LORD Jesus was not forsaken in his/her place in order to unconditionally maintain his/her existence despite of his/her continued trampling on his/her neighbors. The LORD Jesus was forsaken by His Father in our place before we are consumed in the lake of fire according to our iniquities. The LORD Jesus is giving us the opportunity[476] to renew submission to our Creator of love[477] as creatures who know our duty.[478]

The LORD Jesus was forsaken in our behalf[479] to give us the opportunity to know what we are as creatures[480] and to submit to our Creator God in a proper manner as creatures.[481] The LORD Jesus did not take the punishment that was due to criminals who refuse to be separated from their sins. If we continue to disobey the God of love[482], even though we once believed and our sins were forgiven[483], God would have to burn us in the lake of fire[484] to deliver the creatures that are trampled on by us[485], from suffering.[486] (Even if we completely exclude[487] the divinity of the LORD Jesus[488],) Since the LORD Jesus is without sin[489], the LORD Jesus cannot be annihilated[490] in this creation world as now[491], where existence and extinction are determined based on the commandments.[492] Even though the LORD Jesus was forsaken by God the Father, He was without sin, so He overcame death and was resurrected.[493] If we who have been forgiven of our sins, do not fall away from God and obey God the Holy Spirit to the end[494], then we too will overcome death and be resurrected or transformed.[495]

Luke12:49 "I came to throw fire on the earth. I wish it were already kindled.

Luke12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!

The suffering of the cross is baptism. It is a baptism of pain that is cut off and forsaken by God the Father.

Matt.3:11 I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to carry. He shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit.

Matt.3:12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor. He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire."

The Son gives the baptism of God the Holy Spirit and the baptism of fire. Baptism of fire appears as a cross to those who have received the Son[496] and as a judgment of the lake of fire to those who reject the Son.[497]

Mark10:39 They said to him, "We are able." Jesus said to them, "You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and you shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;

Mark10:40 but to sit at my right hand and at my left hand is not mine to give, but for whom it has been prepared."

James and John who received the Son, received the baptism of the cross by the Son. In addition to the baptism of God the Holy Spirit, the Son also baptized them with fire. Since baptism by fire is a cross[498], baptism by fire also signifies martyrdom.[499] Not all saints will be martyred[500], but because all saints must be raised by the resurrection of life[501], whether it is the 1st or the 2nd resurrection[502], the degree of tribulation they receive will vary from person to person[503], but they will all pass through baptism with fire.[504] Through the baptism of fire, the sins that are the cause of judgment in those who have received the Son, are burned.[505] Therefore, those who have been baptized on the cross now[506], burn their sins, so that they will not be burned in the lake of fire with their sins in the end.[507] Baptism with fire is, in other words[508], the process of bearing the fruits of God the Holy Spirit.[509] But for those who do not receive the Son and do not submit to the Son, the baptism of fire will eventually be done[510] in the lake of fire.[511]

Zech.13:8 It shall happen that in all the land," says Yahweh, Two parts in it will be cut off and die; But the third will be left in it.

Zech.13:9 I will bring the third part into the fire, And will refine them as silver is refined, And will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say, 'It is my people;' And they will say, 'Yahweh is my God.'"

Those who belong to the Son, will be tried and separated from sin by suffering like being thrown into the fire.[512] This is the baptism of fire by our cross.[513] It is the separation of sin from the heart, just as dross is removed from gold or silver.[514]

Ps.66:10 For you, God, have tested us. You have refined us, as silver is refined.

Ps.66:11 You brought us into prison. You laid a burden on our backs.

Ps.66:12 You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, But you brought us to the place of abundance.

God separates His people from sin by allowing them to go through baptism of fire and baptism of water. This is what comes to us[515] as personal suffering.[516] If we go through suffering for the LORD Jesus[517], our reward will be greater.[518] Only those who are separated from sin, are delivered from the judgment of the wrath which will be poured out on the sinners, and enter the place of abundance, Eden the paradise.[519]

Mal.3:2 "But who can endure the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire, and like launderer's soap;

Mal.3:3 and he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver; and they shall offer to Yahweh offerings in righteousness.

Through the baptism of fire, that is, the cross, God will refine those who belong to God and separate them from sin. God will make His people take up their own cross in the way of the Son so that they may die with the Son and live with the Son.[520]

Mal.3:4 Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasant to Yahweh, as in the days of old, and as in ancient years.

Those who belong to God, will be accepted by God. This will be done historically in the 1000-year kingdom, but personally, it is now done in God the Holy Spirit to the saints who take up their own cross.[521]

Mal.3:5 I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the perjurers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don't fear me," says Yahweh of Hosts.

Mal.3:6 "For I, Yahweh, don't change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

But those who do not keep the commandments by rejecting the Son and rejecting the Son's reign of love, will be burned by the fire of judgment. Because they did not forsake their sins, they are thrown into the lake of fire with their sins when God judges their sins.[522] But the descendants of Jacob, the people of God, will not be consumed in the lake of fire.

1Pet.1:7 that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ --

1Pet.1:8 whom not having known you love; in whom, though now you don't see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory --

1Pet.1:9 receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

In God, only those who have faith that is more precious than gold refined by fire, that is, faith that has been refined through the sufferings of the cross like fire, can achieve the salvation of their souls in the end of their faith. Even if some people once had their sins forgiven[523], if they turn away from the faith[524] and live a life of iniquity[525], they will not be able to reach[526] salvation.[527]

1Pet.4:12 Beloved, don't be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you, to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you.

1Pet.4:13 But because you are partakers of Christ's sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory also you may rejoice with exceeding joy.

The refinement of painful trial is participation in Christ's suffering on the cross.[528]

1Pet.4:14 If you are insulted for the name of Christ, blessed are you; because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.

1Pet.4:15 For let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil doer, or as a meddler in other men's matters.

1Pet.4:16 But if one of you suffers for being a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this matter.

When we suffer for the glory of God[529], we are receiving the baptism of the cross.[530]

Col.2:11 in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;

Col.2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Baptism is to die with Christ on the cross and to be raised with Christ from the tomb. Baptism is participating in the suffering of the cross.[531] There is also no resurrection for those who are not received the baptism of the cross.[532]

C. Baptism of the lake of fire

Rev.20:13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.

Rev.20:14 Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

The baptism of fire for those who do not receive the Son and persist in their sins, is baptism of the lake of fire.[533] The baptism of fire for those who obey the Son, will be the baptism of salvation that burns away their sins and prevents them from being thrown into the lake of fire.[534] The baptism of fire for those who disobey the Son[535], will be the baptism of the lake of fire that burns them with their sins they had refused to burn away.[536] Only the cross can burn sin.[537] Only through the cross, creatures can realize the love of God the Creator.[538] The fire of love burns the sin of creatures.[539] Those who do not pass through the cross[540], will be burned with their sins because they retain their sins as they are.[541]

   Betrothal

Marriage in Israel takes place in order of betrothal and wedding. Betrothal has the same legal binding as marriage. Therefore, a betrothed woman is considered married.[542] After the betrothal period, the wedding ceremony begins, and the bridegroom comes to the bride's house at night. At this time, at the bride's house, the bride's friends hold lamps and lead the groom to the bride.[543]

Ps.45:9 Kings' daughters are among your honorable women. At your right hand the queen stands in gold of Ophir.

Ps.45:10 Listen, daughter, consider, and turn your ear. Forget your own people, and also your father's house.

Ps.45:11 So the king will desire your beauty, Honor him, for he is your lord.

Before becoming the bride of the LORD Jesus the King, we were slaves to sin.[544] The Son paid God the Father His blood[545] as a bride price[546] to receive us who were the slaves of sin and bound to Satan, as bride[547], and brought us from sin.[548] The Son suffered the wages of sin, death[549], being forsaken by His Father, to bring us as His bride.[550]

God is the Owner of all creatures, and the bride and Satan are imprisoned under sin.[551] The bride belongs to God, and Satan belongs to God.[552] Ultimately, sin is against God[553], and only God judges sin.[554] Therefore, in order to bring the bride out of sin, the Bridegroom must pay for His bride's sin to the Judge who is the standard of righteousness and sin.[555] By breaking out of the realm of Satan, the bride can no longer be a slave to Satan.[556]

Gen.24:55 Her brother and her mother said, "Let the young lady stay with us a few days, at least ten. After that she will go."

Gen.24:56 He said to them, "Don't hinder me, seeing Yahweh has prospered my way. Send me away that I may go to my master."

Gen.24:57 They said, "We will call the young lady, and ask her."

Gen.24:58 They called Rebekah, and said to her, "Will you go with this man?" She said, "I will go."

This is the scene where the bride leaves her father's house, and God the Holy Spirit brings her to the Bridegroom. God the Holy Spirit does not delay, and even the bride forgets her father's house. (Actually, God is the only One we must worship as our Father[557], but we who committed adultery served Satan as our father.[558]) Here, the bride's original home symbolizes Satan, the ruler of the kingdom of the air.[559] God the Holy Spirit brings the bride out of Satan, He does not delay, and the bride also forgets her home of sin.[560] The bride is coming out of Satan, the false father, and coming to God, the true Father.[561]

Gen.24:3 I will make you swear by Yahweh, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that you shall not take a wife for my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I live.

Gen.24:4 But you shall go to my country, and to my relatives, and take a wife for my son Isaac."

Abraham commands Eliezer to choose Isaac's wife from his homeland, not from the Canaanites, the people of sin. The Father chooses the Son's bride through God the Holy Spirit, not from Satan's servants, but from God's people. Then, since the place where the bride Rebekah is located, is the realm of serving God, is it wrong to claim that Rebekah comes out of her father's house, the realm of Satan, to become the Son's bride?

The land of Canaan symbolizes Hades, that is, the earth which imprisoned Satan fraudswarms, and the Canaanites symbolize the Satan fraudswarms, the power of death.[562] The meaning of the Father giving the Son the land of Canaan where Satan fraudswarms are imprisoned, means that the Son will drive out Satan fraudswarms from the land of Canaan and transform the land into the kingdom of the Son, the kingdom of love.[563] I don't know if the LORD Jesus will pull out Satan fraudswarms from the realm where they have been imprisoned, and establish the 1000-year kingdom there, or if He will make all the places where He has locked up Satan fraudswarms become the abyss, and establish His 1000-year kingdom in another place separated from the abyss.[564] Judging from the words that the LORD Jesus restores the land ravaged by Satan fraudswarms and establishes an environment similar to that of the present world for 1000 years[565], the position of the 1000-year kingdom may not be an area completely unrelated to the earth, the area where Satan fraudswarms have been imprisoned. (The abyss is presumed to be a part of Hades.[566]) I said it would be similar, but it would be an area that is incomparably beautiful with the present earth covered by sin.

All human beings, without execption, are Canaanites.[567] God purifies those who obey the Son from among the Canaanites, with the blood of the Son, and takes them out of the land of Canaan ruled by Satan, and brings them into heaven.[568] This heaven is God the Holy Spirit.[569] This heaven is shown through Eliezer. A Canaanite coming from the realm controlled by Satan to the realm of heaven under God's reign, is represented by following Eliezer as a bride. The bride who is freed from sin through God the Holy Spirit, enters into the dominion of the Bridegroom. Not only the Canaanites are the Satan fraudswarms, but the people of Abraham's hometown are also the Satan fraudswarms. However, among them, only those who follow Eliezer sent by Abraham, who follow God the Holy Spirit sent by the Father, break free from Satan fraudswarms and enter into the reign of God.

In reality, the entire earth, whether it is the land of Canaan or the land of Syria, is under control of Satan, so all parts of the earth are the land of sin under control of Satan.[570] However, in order to show that the one who escaped from the land of sin and entered into paradise, comes to the Son as His bride, the bride was chosen out of the land of Canaan and followed Eliezer into the land of Canaan where there is the Bridegroom to conquer the land of sin. The Bridegroom and the bride will conquer the land of sin, and transform it into paradise.[571] Only those who enter into God the Holy Spirit can escape from sin[572], and only those who have escaped from sin can enter into the reign of God.[573]

From the point of view of the bride, the saints, she is going to the realm of righteousness where the Bridegroom is, but from the point of view of the Bridegroom, the Son, He comes into the realm of darkness where His bride is, in order to marry her.[574] The Bridegroom comes into darkness to rescue His bride[575] who is possessed by darkness[576], and destroys the enemy holding her captive.[577] When the Son came to Hades to inherit the creation world, the limited temporary vicarious management proxy over Hades which had been entrusted to Adam until the Son came[578], had already been transferred to Satan.[579] God the Son[580] who is in the bosom of His Father[581], came from the Father to Hades to marry His bride. The Creator Son Himself became a creature to become the Bridegroom of a creature, the bride.[582] Therefore, the Son left His Father and came to Hades, and Adam the bride left Satan who was like her father[583] when she was under sin[584], and went to the Son.[585] (Of course, the original parent of all creatures is always God the Creator.[586] God who is still keeping Satan alive[587], is also the Father of Satan.[588] Since God the Son is also the Creator[589], it is safe to be called Father by His creatures.[590] The Son who is the Word, still sustains the existence[591] of the creation world.[592] The Son, the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being[593], is not a created creature.[594] He is God equal to His Father.)

It is God who imprisoned Satan fraudswarms in the earth. To be precise, God must have imprisoned them through angels.[595] Satan cannot do anything unless God permits it.[596] Satan cannot touch a single sparrow unless the LORD Jesus[597] permits it.[598] The reason Satan is said to rule the earth, is because he has deprived Adam of limited temporary vicarious management proxy over all the earth.[599] And God has a purpose and tolerates it for a while.[600] But the creation world is always and forever and ever and ever the property of God.[601] Even in the midst of Satan's evil actions which are temporarily in power under God's permission[602], God works according to His will. The true ruler of the earth is always God who is the Owner of everything forever.[603]

The meaning of Eliezer is 'God is help'. Considering that God the Holy Spirit is the Counselor, Comforter, Helper, that is, 'paraklaytos' which means 'mediator, comforter, advocate', it is easy to understand why the name Eliezer was given to the one used to symbolize God the Holy Spirit.

Col.2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Baptism is to die to sin with the Son who died for my sins. Through baptism, we die with the Son in union with the Son's death, and live with the Son in union with the Son's resurrection. The Son paid His Father with His life the bride price[604] for our sins to obtain us[605], the bride, and to bring us from the power of sin.[606] We are baptized with the blood that the Son paid for our life.[607] Through the baptism with the blood of the Bridegroom, we die to the house of our false father, Satan, and are resurrected as bride for our Bridegroom.[608]

Sin is what creatures does against God.[609] Without a Creator, there would be no concept of 'sin'. Therefore, the wages of sin must be paid to God. It is God the Creator who both kills and gives life to His creatures.[610] It is God who judges, and if we sin, God kills.[611] In order for creatures to not die, God must save them. And God does not give life unconditionally.[612] In order to save us, God the Son made Himself a creature and died in our place to pay the price for our sins.[613]

Rom.6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Rom.6:5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;

Those who die with the Son and are united with Him in His death, will also be united with Him in His resurrection.[614] The is baptism.

2Cor.11:2 For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. For I married you to one husband, that I might present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

Therefore, those who are united with the Son, who are baptized, live in this world as betrothed to the Son. When the Son returns to meet His bride in the late night of tribulation[615], the preparations for the wedding feast of the Lamb are completed.[616] The sound to come out to meet the groom means 'krowgey:cry'.[617] Indirectly, it may be a sign that the Son will come again[618], but directly, it is very likely that it is the sound of the 7th trumpet.[619] The Son will come again to destroy His enemies and establish a new heaven and a new earth. New Jerusalem, the bride of the Lamb, will come down out of heaven to the new heaven and the new earth.[620] Only martyr witnesses, royal priests, can enter this new Jerusalem.[621] To those who can enter the new Jerusalem, the authority to rule the paradise as royal priests under the Son, is given.[622] Those who love the world even though they are betrothed to the Son, are adulterers.

Eph.5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

Christ is the head and the church is the body. In other words, Christ and the church are united. A saint who is betrothed to the Son becomes a member of the church and the bride of Christ.

1Cor.6:15 Don't you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!

1Cor.6:16 Or don't you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, "The two," says he, "will become one flesh."

1Cor.6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

Those who joined unto the LORD Jesus are one spirit, just as the bridegroom and the bride become one flesh. Therefore, we, the body of Christ, cannot be joined to the prostitute and become on flesh with the prostitute. All those who love the world are prostitutes who are enemies of God.[623] And the saints must come out of Babylon the great, the mother of prostitutes and the abomination of the earth in the last days.[624]

1Cor.12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.

By being baptized by one spirit, we become the body of Christ, the church.

John3:31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the Earth belongs to the Earth, and speaks of the Earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

John3:32 What he has seen and heard, of that he testifies; and no one receives his witness.

John3:33 He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.

The Son testifies only the truth He has seen and heard, and only those who receive the testimony of the Son, those who receive the Word, certify that God is truthful. And only those who certify that God is truthful receive the seal that God has set.[625] Christ, the seal of God, is our inheritance.[626]

Eph.4:30 Don't grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Rom.8:23 Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.

The redemption of the body means the resurrection and the transformaion, and the day of redemption is when the 7th trumpet sounds. Resurrection is called adoption. Only at the resurrection and the transformation, do we become adopted in the LORD Jesus the Firstborn Son, and inherit with the Son. This inheritance appears to rule the 1000-year kingdom under the Son who is the King. The royal priests who participate in this rule, can enter the new Jerusalem which is represented as the bride. In other words, the adoptees are called the bride. From the point of view of inheriting the kingdom with Christ, they are called adoptees, and from the point of view of members who become the bride of Christ, the Bridegroom, and submit to the Bridegroom, the head, they are called the bride. martyr = witness = bride = adoptee = firstborn = royal priest = overcomer = remnant, these words all mean the same thing, the saints who participated in the 1st resurrection.[627]

Eph.1:7 in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

'Apolootrosis' means 'redemption', that is, 'liberation'. Those who are redeemed whose sins are forgiven, are freed from death, the wages of sin, and are raised from the dead.[628] They are accepted by God and are not thrown into the lake of fire. Also, the redeemed can be freed from the power of sin, keep the commandments, overcome sin[629], and finally overcome death[630], the wages of sin. Therefore, they are resurrected or transformed.[631] If the saints who have received forgiveness of their sins and are freed from death[632], walk from faith[633] to faith[634] through the grace of God[635], do not use that grace in vain[636] and keep their faith[637] until the end[638], they will eventually reach[639] salvation.[640]

1Cor.6:14 Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.

Just as the Father raised His Son, so the Father will also raise the bride who became one with His Son.

Rom.8:11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

If the Spirit of the Father who raised His Son, dwells in us, the Father also resurrects and transforms our mortal bodies through the Spirit of the Father.

Rev.19:7 Let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let us give the glory to him. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready."

Rev.19:8 It was given to her that she would array herself in bright, pure, fine linen: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

A virgin betrothed to the Son participates in the wedding feast after being baptized in the sea of glass. A betrothed virgin must wear a wedding clothes[641] and hold a lamp[642] when the Bridegroom returns. These wedding clothes and lamps are righteous deeds[643] and are symbolized by a linen clothes[644] worn by priests[645], but in reality, they represent the resurrection body.[646] To keep a lamp lit without extinguishing it, we need oil. This oil symbolizes God the Holy Spirit.[647] The lamp also symbolizes the truth[648], and it symbolizes God the Holy Spirit of truth expressed in the 7 golden lampstands.[649] When the Son comes again, only the saints with the truth in them, sealed by God the Holy Spirit[650] and guaranteed by God the Holy Spirit[651], will be able to welcome the Son.[652]

Rev.15:2 I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

Only with the resurrected or transformed body can we pass through the sea of glass and participate in the wedding feast.

Rev.21:9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were laden with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, "Come here. I will show you the wife, the Lamb's bride."

Rev.21:10 He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

Therefore, only those who overcome, those who have participate in a better resurrection[653], that is the 1st resurrection[654], that is, the martyr witnesses[655], can enter the new Jerusalem, the bride of the Lamb, in the 1000-year kingdom.[656]

[1] Gen.3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel."

[2] John3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!

2Cor.5:15 He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again. Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

[3] Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

[4] Gen.17:5 Neither will your name any more be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham; for the father of a multitude of nations have I made you. I will make you exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of you. Kings will come out of you. I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you.

[5] Gen.15:6 He believed in Yahweh; and he reckoned it to him for righteousness. He said to him, "I am Yahweh who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it." He said, "Lord Yahweh, how will I know that I will inherit it?"

[6] Gen.17:8 I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God." God said to Abraham, "As for you, you will keep my covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations.

[7] Gen.17:9 God said to Abraham, "As for you, you will keep my covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations.

[8] Col.3:5 Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry; for which things' sake the wrath of God comes on the sons of disobedience. You also once walked in those, when you lived in them; but now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth. Don't lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, that is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,

[9] Eph.4:22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit; and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

[10] Rom.6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer? Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

[11] Deut.30:6 Yahweh your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.

[12] Gal.4:10 You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you.

[13] Jer.4:4 Circumcise yourselves to Yahweh, and take away the foreskins of your heart, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn so that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

[14] John5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.

[15] John2:21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.

[16] Matt.12:8 For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."

[17] Matt.12:28 But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come on you.

[18] Rom.10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Matt.5:17 "Don't think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn't come to destroy, but to fulfill.

[19] John11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he die, yet will he live. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” She said to him, "Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Christ, God's Son, he who comes into the world."

[20] Gal.4:2 but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed by the father. So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law, that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

[21] Gen.17:8 I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God." God said to Abraham, "As for you, you will keep my covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations. This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your seed after you. Every male among you shall be circumcised. You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin. It will be a token of a covenant between me and you.

[22] Gal.5:5 For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

[23] Gal.5:11 But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling-block of the cross has been removed. I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off. For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don't consume one another.

[24] Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

[25] Gal.2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

[26] Col.2:11 in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

1Cor.12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.

[27] Rom.8:19 For the creation waits with eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.

[28] Rom.8:23 Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.

[29] 1Cor.15:54 But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

[30] Job1:9 Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing? Haven't you made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will renounce you to your face."

[31] Rev.16:5 I heard the angel of the waters saying, "You are righteous, who are and who were, you Holy One, because you judged this way. For they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this." I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments."

[32] Gal.4:19 My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ is formed in you--

Gen.1:27 God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them. God said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

[33] Dan.3:14 Nebuchadnezzar answered them, Is it on purpose, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you don't serve my god, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? Now if you are ready whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music to you fall down and worship the image which I have made, [well]: but if you don't worship, you shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that god that shall deliver you out of my hands?

[34] Rev.13:14 Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

[35] Col.2:11 in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

[36] Eph.4:22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit; and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

[37] Rom.6:2 May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer? Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? [39] John3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God! That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Don't marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.'

[40] Rom.8:11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

[41] Ex.4:22 You shall tell Pharaoh, 'Thus says Yahweh, Israel is my son, my firstborn,

[42] Gen.17:13 He who is born in your house, and he who is bought with your money, must be circumcised. My covenant will be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. The uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people. He has broken my covenant."

[43] Gen.17:14 The uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people. He has broken my covenant."

[44] Jer.9:26 Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that have the corners [of their hair] cut off, who dwell in the wilderness; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in heart.

[45] Rom.2:29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

[46] Rom.6:3 Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;

[47] Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

[48] Gal.5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

[49] Gal.5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

[50] Gal.2:14 When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?

[51] Mal.3:5 I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the perjurers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don't fear me," says Yahweh of Hosts.

[52] Gal.5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

[53] Rev.20:13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

[54] Gen.3:17 To Adam he said, "Because you have listened to your wife's voice, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground for your sake. In toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. Thorns also and thistles will it bring forth to you; and you will eat the herb of the field.

[55] Gal.5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire.

[56] 1Pet.1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

[57] Phil.1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

[58] Ex.21:5 But if the servant shall plainly say, 'I love my master, my wife, and my children. I will not go out free;' then his master shall bring him to God, and shall bring him to the door or to the door-post, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him for ever.

[59] Luke8:8 Other fell into the good ground, and grew, and brought forth fruit one hundred times." As he said these things, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

1Cor.2:11 For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God's Spirit. But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.

[60] Rev.20:13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

[61] Is.33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling has seized the godless ones: Who among us can dwell with the devouring fire? who among us can dwell with everlasting burning? He who walks righteously, and speaks blamelessly; he who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands from taking a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking on evil: He shall dwell on high; his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks; his bread shall be given [him]; his waters shall be sure.

[62] Rom.8:19 For the creation waits with eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.

[63] Gen.1:27 God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them. God said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

[64] Rom.9:4 who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises; of whom are the fathers, and from whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen.

[65] Gal.3:8 The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "In you all the nations will be blessed." So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.

[66] Luke3:7 John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham.

[67] Rom.2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

[68] Acts13:45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with jealousy, and contradicted the things which were spoken by Paul, and blasphemed. Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said, "It was necessary that God's word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, 'I have set you as a light of the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.'"

[69] John8:39 They answered him, "Our father is Abraham." Jesus said to them, "If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God. Abraham didn't do this.

[70] Rom.11:25 For I don't desire, brothers, to have you ignorant of this mystery, so that you won't be wise in your own conceits, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,

[71] Judg.6:39 Gideon said to God, Don't let your anger be kindled against me, and I will speak but this once: Please let me make a trial just this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only on the fleece, and on all the ground let there be dew. God did so that night: for it was dry on the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground.

[72] Rom.11:11 I ask then, did they stumble that they might fall? May it never be! But by their fall salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy. Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?

[73] Rom.11:30 For as you in time past were disobedient to God, but now have obtained mercy by their disobedience, even so these also have now been disobedient, that by the mercy shown to you they may also obtain mercy.

[74] Rom.11:15 For if the rejection of them is the reconciling of the world, what would their acceptance be, but life from the dead?

[75] Gal.3:8 The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: "All nations will be blessed through you."

[76] Gal.3:26 For you are all sons of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to promise.

[77] Rom.9:6 But it is not as though the word of God has come to nothing. For they are not all Israel, that are of Israel. Neither, because they are Abraham's seed, are they all children. But, "In Isaac will your seed be called." That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as a seed.

[78] Gen.18:18 seeing that Abraham has surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him? For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of Yahweh, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that Yahweh may bring on Abraham that which he has spoken of him."

[79] Gen.26:4 I will multiply your seed as the stars of the sky, and will give to your seed all these lands. In your seed will all the nations of the earth be blessed, because Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws."

[80] Gal.3:6 Even as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness." Know therefore that those who are of faith, the same are sons of Abraham. The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "In you all the nations will be blessed." So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.

[81] Acts2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

[82] Gal.5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

[83] Gal.3:5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith? Even as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness."

[84] Col.2:11 in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

[85] John3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God! That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Don't marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.'

[86] 1Cor.12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.

[87] Matt.1:20 But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, don't be afraid to take to yourself Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

[88] Luke1:35 The angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Son of God.

[89] Heb.4:15 For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.

[90] 1Pet.2:21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps, who did not sin, "neither was deceit found in his mouth." Who, when he was reviled, didn't revile back. When he suffered, didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously;

[91] Rom.7:21 I find then the law, that, to me, while I desire to do good, evil is present. For I delight in God's law after the inward man, but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death?

[92] Gal.5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

[93] John13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.

[94] Luke1:15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and he will drink no wine nor strong drink. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.

[95] John7:39 But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn't yet glorified.

[96] Ex.31:2 "Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

[97] Acts2:1 Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place. Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and it sat on each one of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.

[98] John20:20 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad when they saw the Lord. Jesus therefore said to them again, "Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you." When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit! Whoever's sins you forgive, they are forgiven to them. Whoever's sins you retain, they have been retained."

[100] Acts1:11 who also said, "You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky." Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away. When they had come in, they went up into the upper room, where they were staying; that is Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James. All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers. In these days, Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (and the number of names was about one hundred twenty), and said,

[101] 1Cor.15:6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.

[102] Acts2:1 Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place.

[103] Acts2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spoke out to them, "You men of Judea, and all you who dwell at Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words.

[104] Acts2:41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls.

[105] Acts2:2 Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

[107] Dan.9:24 Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks: it shall be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.

[108] Dan.9:26 After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One shall be cut off, and shall have nothing: and the people of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end of it shall be with a flood, and even to the end shall be war; desolations are determined.

[109] Gen.3:17 To Adam he said, "Because you have listened to your wife's voice, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground for your sake. In toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.

[110] 1Cor.15:44 It is sown a natural(psookheekos:soulish) body; it is raised a spiritual(pnyoomatikos) body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.

[111] Rom.7:22 For I delight in God's law after the inward man, but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death?

[112] Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

[115] 1Pet.2:20 For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps, who did not sin, "neither was deceit found in his mouth." Who, when he was reviled, didn't revile back. When he suffered, didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously; who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.

[125] Dan.9:24 Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. [126] Heb.13:11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp. Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.

[127] Mark10:37 They said to him, "Grant to us that we may sit, one at your right hand, and one at your left hand, in your glory." But Jesus said to them, "You don't know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?"

[132] 2Pet.3:12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which dwells righteousness.

[133] Rev.20:1 I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years, and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.

[134] Matt.3:11 I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to carry. He shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit. [135] 1Cor.15:25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

[136] Rev.20:13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

[137] Mark10:37 They said to him, "Grant to us that we may sit, one at your right hand, and one at your left hand, in your glory." But Jesus said to them, "You don't know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?" They said to him, "We are able." Jesus said to them, "You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and you shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit at my right hand and at my left hand is not mine to give, but for whom it has been prepared."

[141] Rev.6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed for the Word of God, and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had. They cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, Master, the holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" A long white robe was given them. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, completed their course.

[142] Acts7:59 They stoned Stephen as he called out, saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my Spirit!" He kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, "Lord, don't hold this sin against them!" When he had said this, he fell asleep.

[146] John3:35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand. One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won't see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."

[147] Luke20:13 The lord of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. It may be that seeing him, they will respect him.' "But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.' They threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them? He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others." When they heard it, they said, "May it never be!"

[148] John1:35 Again, on the next day, John was standing with two of his disciples, and he looked at Jesus as he walked, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God!" The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

[149] John14:16 I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever, --

John15:26 "When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.

John16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don't go away, the Counselor won't come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.

[150] Acts18:25 This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, although he knew only the baptism of John.

Acts13:24 before his coming, when John had first preached the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

[151] Acts2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

[152] Gal.2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

[153] 2Cor.5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

[154] Eph.4:22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit; and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

[155] 2Cor.5:14 For the love of Christ constrains us; because we judge thus, that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.

[156] Rom.14:7 For none of us lives to himself, and none dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord's.

[157] Eph.2:1 You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience; among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

[158] 1Pet.2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

[159] Phil.3:4 though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has confidence in the flesh, I yet more: circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the assembly; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless. However, what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ. Yes most assuredly, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ

[160] 1Cor.2:4 My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

[161] Rom.6:20 For when you were servants of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

[162] Luke3:9 Even now the ax also lies at the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that doesn't bring forth good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire." The multitudes asked him, "What then must we do?" He answered them, "He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise." Tax collectors also came to be baptized, and they said to him, "Teacher, what must we do?" He said to them, "Collect no more than that which is appointed to you." Soldiers also asked him, saying, "What about us? What must we do?" He said to them, "Extort from no one by violence, neither accuse anyone wrongfully. Be content with your wages."

[163] Gal.5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

[164] Gal.6:7 Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

[165] Eph.2:5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

[166] Matt.16:25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?

[167] Rom.7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice.

[168] Gal.5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

[169] Rom.6:12 Therefore don't let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.

[170] Rom.6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

[171] 1Cor.15:54 But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

[172] Rom.8:11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

[173] Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

[174] 1Cor.15:20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.

[175] Rom.8:23 Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.

[176] Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

[177] Gal.5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

[178] Rev.12:9 The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now is come the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night. They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death.

[179] Jer.31:33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Yahweh: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:

[180] Matt.5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

[181] Job1:9 Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing? Haven't you made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will renounce you to your face."

[182] Rom.6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

[183] Rev.6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed for the Word of God, and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, completed their course.

[184] 1Pet.1:12 To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into. Therefore, prepare your minds for action, be sober and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ --

[185] Rev.11:15 The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!" The twenty-four elders, who sit before God's throne on their thrones, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: "We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was; because you have taken your great power, and reigned. The nations were angry, and your wrath came, as did the time for the dead to be judged, and to give your servants the prophets, their reward, as well as the saints, and those who fear your name, the small and the great; and to destroy those who destroy the earth."

[186] Rom.8:23 Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.

[187] Rev.14:3 They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth. These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

[188] Rev.7:3 saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!" I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:

[189] Rev.8:1 When he opened the seventh seal, there followed a silence in heaven for about half an hour. I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel's hand. The angel took the censer, and he filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it on the earth. There followed thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake. The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

[190] 2Cor.5:15 He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again. Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

[191] Eph.2:1 You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience; among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

[192] Gal.5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire.

[193] Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

[194] Rom.3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God. Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

[195] 1Tim.5:6 But she who gives herself to pleasure is dead while she lives.

[196] Rom.5:6 For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

[197] Matt.12:28 But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come on you.

[198] Mark16:17 These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

[199] 1Pet.2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: who in time past were no people, but now are God's people, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

[200] Gal.5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

[201] John14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

[202] 1Cor.2:10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God's Spirit. But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.

[203] John16:13 However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever things he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you the things that are coming.

[204] Rom.14:7 For none of us lives to himself, and none dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord's.

[205] 1Cor.12:4 Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord. There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all. For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit; and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.

[206] Gal.5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

[207] Matt.7:16 By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree brings forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree can't bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

[208] Matt.7:21 Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will tell me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy by your name, by your name cast out demons, and by your name do many mighty works?' Then I will tell them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.'

[209] 1Kin.19:15 Yahweh said to him, Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when you come, you shall anoint Hazael to be king over Syria; and Jehu the son of Nimshi shall you anoint to be king over Israel; and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah shall you anoint to be prophet in your room. It shall happen, that he who escapes from the sword of Hazael shall Jehu kill; and he who escapes from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha kill.

[210] Matt.28:19 Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things which I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

[211] John14:12 Most assuredly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these will he do; because I am going to my Father. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

[212] John14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

[213] 1Cor.12:26 When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

[214] 1Cor.12:4 Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord. There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.

[215] Rev.7:2 I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!"

[216] John3:33 He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.

[217] Ezek.9:4 Yahweh said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in the midst of it.

[218] Mark1:8 I baptized you in water, but he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit."

[219] Luke12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!

[220] Amos3:7 Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, Unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.

[221] John14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

[222] John14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

[223] 1Cor.2:9 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"-- but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

[224] Matt.13:14 In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, 'By hearing you will hear, And will in no way understand; Seeing you will see, And will in no way perceive: For this people's heart has grown callous, Their ears are dull of hearing, They have closed their eyes; Or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, Hear with their ears, Understand with their heart, And should turn again; And I would heal them.' "But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

[225] Luke8:10 He said, "To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables; that 'seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.'

[226] Rev.2:29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

[227] Acts1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."

[228] Ex.30:19 Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet in it. When they go into the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, that they not die; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to Yahweh. So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they not die: and it shall be a statute forever to them, even to him and to his descendants throughout their generations."

[229] Luke6:46 "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and don't do the things which I say?

[230] 1Pet.1:8 whom not having known you love; in whom, though now you don't see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory -- receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

[231] Gal.5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

[232] Gal.5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

[233] 2Pet.1:5 Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge; and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control patience; and in patience godliness; and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love. For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful to the knowledge of the LORD Jesus Christ.

[234] Rev.16:5 I heard the angel of the waters saying, "You are righteous, who are and who were, you Holy One, because you judged this way. For they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this." I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments."

[235] 1Kin.8:39 then hear in heaven, your dwelling-place, and forgive, and do, and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know; (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men;)

[236] Jer.12:1 Righteous are you, Yahweh, when I contend with you; yet would I reason the cause with you: why does the way of the wicked prosper? why are all they at ease who deal very treacherously?

[237] Matt.10:29 "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will,

[238] John3:27 John answered, "A man can receive nothing, unless it has been given him from heaven.

[239] Job11:7 "Can you fathom the mystery of God? Or can you probe the limits of the Almighty? They are high as heaven. What can you do? Deeper than Sheol: what can you know?

[240] Eph.3:10 to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord;

[241] Rev.20:13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.

[242] 1Cor.4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

[243] Luke12:2 But there is nothing covered up, that will not be revealed, nor hidden, that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light. What you have spoken in the ear in the inner chambers will be proclaimed on the housetops.

1Tim.5:24 Some men's sins are evident, preceding them to judgment, and some also follow later. In the same way also there are good works that are obvious, and those that are otherwise can't be hidden.

[244] Rom.3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God. Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

[245] Ex.19:7 Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which Yahweh commanded him. All the people answered together, and said, "All that Yahweh has spoken we will do." Moses reported the words of the people to Yahweh.

[246] 1Cor.11:25 In the same way he also took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me."

John13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.

2John1:5 Now I beg you, dear lady, not as though I wrote to you a new commandment, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

[247] Heb.9:18 Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood. For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying, "This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded toward you." Moreover he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in like manner with the blood. According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission. It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

[248] Heb.8:10 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel. After those days," says the Lord; "I will put my laws into their mind, I will also write them on their heart. I will be to them a God, And they will be to me a people.

[249] 1Cor.15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was bestowed on me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

[250] Eph.2:3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

[251] Rom.3:9 What then? Are we better than they? No, in no way. For we previously charged both Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin. As it is written, "There is no one righteous. No, not one. There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God. They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, No, not, so much as one." "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit." "The poison of vipers is under their lips;" "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness." "Their feet are swift to shed blood. Destruction and misery are in their ways. The way of peace, they haven't known." "There is no fear of God before their eyes."

[252] Matt.7:19 Every tree that doesn't grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire. Therefore, by their fruits you will know them. Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

[253] Gen.20:5 Didn't he tell me, 'She is my sister?' She, even she herself said, 'He is my brother.' In the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands have I done this." God said to him in the dream, "Yes, I know that in the integrity of your heart you have done this, and I also withheld you from sinning against me. Therefore I didn't allow you to touch her.

[254] Eph.2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.

[255] Gal.5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one other, that you may not do the things that you desire. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

[256] Gen.4:7 If you do well, will it not be lifted up? If you don't do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it."

[257] Gen.3:17 To Adam he said, "Because you have listened to your wife's voice, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground for your sake. In toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. Thorns also and thistles will it bring forth to you; and you will eat the herb of the field.

[258] Rom.7:22 For I delight in God's law after the inward man, but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death?

[259] Rom.5:5 and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

[260] 1Thess.5:19 Don't quench the Spirit.

[261] Rom.1:28 Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

[262] Rev.2:23 I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

[263] 1Cor.4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

[264] Matt.5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.

[265] James2:24 You see then that by works, a man is justified, and not only by faith. In like manner wasn't Rahab the prostitute also justified by works, in that she received the messengers, and sent them out another way? For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.

[266] Gen.22:12 He said, "Don't lay your hand on the boy, neither do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me."

[267] James2:17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. Yes, a man will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith. You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder.

[268] John15:5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

[269] Rom.11:17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree; don't boast over the branches. But if you boast, it is not you who support the root, but the root supports you.

[270] Ezek.16:5 No eye pitied you, to do any of these things to you, to have compassion on you; but you were cast out in the open field, for that your person was abhorred, in the day that you were born. When I passed by you, and saw you weltering in your blood, I said to you, [Though you are] in your blood, live; yes, I said to you, [Though you are] in your blood, live.

[271] Mark12:38 In his teaching he said to them, "Beware of the scribes, who desire to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces, and chief seats in the synagogues, and chief places at feasts: those who devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation."

[272] Matt.3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism, he said to them, "You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bring forth fruit worthy of repentance! Don't think to yourselves, 'We have Abraham for our father,' for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. "Even now the ax lies at the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree that doesn't bring forth good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.

[273] Ezek.33:24 Son of man, they who inhabit those waste places in the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance. Therefore tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: You eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes to your idols, and shed blood: and shall you possess the land? You stand on your sword, you work abomination, and you defile everyone his neighbor's wife: and shall you possess the land?

[274] Deut.18:12 For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh: and because of these abominations Yahweh your God does drive them out from before you.

[275] Matt.18:32 Then his lord called him in, and said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me. Shouldn't you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?'

[276] Heb.10:28 A man who disregards Moses' law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

[277] Ezek.18:10 If he fathers a son who is a robber, a shedder of blood, and who does any one of these things, and who does not any of those [duties], but even has eaten on the mountains, and defiled his neighbor's wife, has wronged the poor and needy, has taken by robbery, has not restored the pledge, and has lifted up his eyes to the idols, has committed abomination, has given forth on interest, and has taken increase; shall he then live? he shall not live: he has done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be on him.

[278] 2Pet.3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

[279] Josh.24:15 If it seem evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose you this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh.

[280] 1Sam.16:13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brothers: and the Spirit of Yahweh came mightily on David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

[281] John1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

[282] Heb.4:15 For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.

[283] Matt.1:20 But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, don't be afraid to take to yourself Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

[284] Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

[285] Rom.7:22 For I delight in God's law after the inward man, but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death?

[286] Eph.4:22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit; and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

[287] Rom.2:14 (for when Gentiles who don't have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying with them, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or else excusing them)

[288] 1Pet.2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

[289] 1Cor.15:44 It is sown a natural(psookheekos:soulish) body; it is raised a spiritual(pnyoomatikos) body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.

[290] Rom.8:11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

[291] John14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

[292] Rev.15:1 I saw another great and marvelous sign in the sky: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them God's wrath is finished. I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

[293] 1Thess.4:16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.

[294] Heb.11:35 Women received their dead by resurrection. Others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.

[295] Heb.11:35 Women received their dead by resurrection. Others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.

[296] Rev.20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.

[297] Gen.1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep. God's Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

[298] Rev.15:2 I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.

[303] Rev.17:15 He said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.

[304] Is.65:20 There shall be no more there an infant of days, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child shall die one hundred years old, and the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed. They shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree shall be the days of my people, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

[305] Rev.20:1 I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

[306] Rev.21:22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple.

[307] 2Pet.3:12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which dwells righteousness.

[308] Rev.20:7 And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison, and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

[309] Rev.20:10 The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

[310] 2Pet.2:4 For if God didn't spare angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved to judgment;

[311] 2Cor.5:14 For the love of Christ constrains us; because we judge thus, that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.

[312] Ps.78:53 He led them safely, so that they weren't afraid, But the sea overwhelmed their enemies. He brought them to the border of his sanctuary, To this mountain, which his right hand had taken.

[313] Rev.15:2 I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.

[314] Gal.2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

[315] 1Pet.2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

[316] Rev.15:2 I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.

[317] 1Cor.15:44 It is sown a natural(psookheekos:soulish) body; it is raised a spiritual(pnyoomatikos) body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.

[318] 2Cor.5:4 For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened; not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now he who made us for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.

[319] Rom.8:11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

[320] Gal.5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

[321] Matt.12:28 But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come on you.

[322] Rev.21:4 He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away. He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

[323] Rom.14:17 for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

[324] Eph.6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.

[325] 1Cor.15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.

[326] 2Cor.5:2 For most assuredly in this we groan, longing to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven; if so be that being clothed we will not be found naked. For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened; not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

[327] 1Thess.4:17 then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.

[328] Rev.19:14 The armies which are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen. Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with a rod of iron. He treads the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

[329] Acts2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

[330] Luke3:11 He answered them, "He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none.

[331] 1John3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

[332] Eph.2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.

[333] Matt.5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

[335] Gal.3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"

[336] Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

[337] John14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

[339] Mal.4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, [with] the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:[KJV]

[340] Luke7:26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and much more than a prophet. This is he of whom it is written, 'Behold, I send my messenger before your face, Who will prepare your way before you.' "For I tell you, among those who are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptizer, yet he who is least in the Kingdom of God is greater than he."

[341] Acts7:38 This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness with the angel that spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received living oracles to give to us,

Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

[347] 1Cor.15:47 The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven.

[348] Col.2:11 in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

[349] John3:3 Jesus answered him, "Most assuredly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can't see the Kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" Jesus answered, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!

[350] Rom.6:3 Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

[351] Rom.7:22 For I delight in God's law after the inward man, but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death?

[352] 1Pet.2:21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps, who did not sin, "neither was deceit found in his mouth." Who, when he was reviled, didn't revile back. When he suffered, didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously;

[353] Heb.4:15 For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.

[354] Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

[355] Luke6:12 It happened in these days, that he went out into the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.

[356] Heb.5:7 He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear, though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered.

He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him. He began to tell them, "Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing."

[360] John13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.

[361] Luke3:22 and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form, as a dove on him; and a voice came out of the sky, saying "You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased." Jesus himself, when he began to teach, was about thirty years old, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli,

[362] John20:21 Jesus therefore said to them again, "Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you." When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit! Whoever's sins you forgive, they are forgiven to them. Whoever's sins you retain, they have been retained."

[368] Matt.4:10 Then Jesus said to him, "Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.'" Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him.

[369] Lev.16:21 Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, even all their sins; and he shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send him away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is in readiness. The goat shall carry all their iniquities on himself to a solitary land, and he shall let the goat go in the wilderness.

[370] Ps.103:20 Praise Yahweh, you angels of his, Who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, Obeying the voice of his word. Praise Yahweh, all you hosts of his, You servants of his, who do his pleasure.

[372] Rev.20:1 I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments."

[376] Job1:8 Yahweh said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant, Job? For there is none like him in the earth, a blameless and an upright man, one who fears God, and turns away from evil." Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing? Haven't you made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will renounce you to your face."

[377] 1John5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.

[378] Rev.6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed for the Word of God, and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had.

[379] 1Cor.15:54 But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

[380] 1Pet.1:12 To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into. The goat shall carry all their iniquities on himself to a solitary land, and he shall let the goat go in the wilderness.

[386] Rev.14:3 They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders.

[387] Rom.8:23 Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.

[388] Luke4:5 The devil, leading him up on a high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. The devil said to him, "I will give you all this authority, and their glory, for it has been delivered to me; and I give it to whomever I want. If you therefore will worship before me, it will all be yours." Jesus answered him, "Get behind me Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.'"

[391] Rev.20:13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

[392] Matt.25:41 Then he will say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;

[393] Luke12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!

[394] Eph.2:1 You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience; among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

[395] Is.53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out his soul to death, and was numbered with the transgressors: yet he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

[396] Heb.4:15 For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.

[397] Heb.10:19 Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

[398] Luke1:13 But the angel said to him, "Don't be afraid, Zacharias, because your request has been heard, and your wife, Elizabeth, will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. You will have joy and gladness; and many will rejoice at his birth. For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and he will drink no wine nor strong drink. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. He will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord, their God. He will go before his face in the spirit and power of Elijah, 'to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,' and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

[399] Luke1:24 After these days Elizabeth, his wife, conceived, and she hid herself five months, saying, "Thus has the Lord done to me in the days in which he looked at me, to take away my reproach among men." Now in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

[400] Luke1:15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and he will drink no wine nor strong drink. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. He will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord, their God.

[401] John7:38 He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water." But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn't yet glorified.

[402] Matt.11:3 and said to him, "Are you he who comes, or should we look for another?" Jesus answered them, "Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them. Blessed is he who finds no occasion for stumbling in me."

Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

[408] Acts1:7 He said to them, "It isn't for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within His own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."

[409] Phil.2:8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

[410] Rev.14:3 They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders.

"Even now the ax lies at the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree that doesn't bring forth good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.

[414] Gal.4:9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elements, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again? You observe days, months, seasons, and years. I am afraid for you, that I might have wasted my labor for you.

[415] Matt.26:63 But Jesus held his peace. The high priest answered him, "I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God." Jesus said to him, "You have said it. Nevertheless, I tell you, henceforth you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of the sky." Then the high priest tore his clothing, saying, "He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Behold, now you have heard his blasphemy.

[421] Rev.15:2 I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They shall take some of the blood, and put it on the two side-posts and on the lintel, on the houses in which they shall eat it. They shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread. They shall eat it with bitter herbs. Don't eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted with fire; with its head, its legs and its inner parts. You shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remains of it until the morning you shall burn with fire.

[439] Heb.10:28 A man who disregards Moses' law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses. [457] Rev.20:13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

[471] Heb.6:4 For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.

[472] Matt.5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. "You have heard that it was said to them of old time, 'You shall not murder;' and 'Whoever shall murder shall be in danger of the judgment.' But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment; and whoever shall say to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council; and whoever shall say, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.

[487] Heb.2:14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For most assuredly, not to angels does he give help, but he gives help to the seed of Abraham.

[488] Phil.2:6 who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider it robbery to be equal with God, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross.

[493] 1Cor.15:20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.

[494] Rom.8:12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

[495] Rom.8:11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

[500] Heb.11:35 Women received their dead by resurrection. Others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. Others were tried by mocking and scourging, yes, moreover by bonds and imprisonment. They were stoned. They were sawn apart. They were tempted. They were slain with the sword. They went around in sheepskins, in goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, ill-treated (of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in deserts, mountains, caves, and the holes of the earth.

[501] Rom.6:3 Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;

[502] 1Cor.15:23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ's, at his coming. Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.

[503] Rom.8:17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.

[508] Matt.7:16 By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree brings forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree can't bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that doesn't grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire.

[509] Gal.5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

[510] Luke14:31 Or what king, as he goes to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? [513] Matt.10:38 He who doesn't take his cross and follow after me, isn't worthy of me. He who finds his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.

[514] Prov.17:3 The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold, But Yahweh tests the hearts.

[515] Heb.12:7 It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with sons, for what son is there whom his father doesn't discipline? But if you are without discipline, whereof all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not sons. Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?

[516] Ps.119:67 Before I was afflicted, I went astray; But now I observe your word.

[517] Col.1:24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the assembly;

[518] Matt.19:27 Then Peter answered, "Behold, we have left everything, and followed you. What then will we have?" Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.

[519] Gen.2:9 Out of the ground Yahweh God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. A river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became four heads.

Rev.2:7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.

[520] Matt.16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If any man desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?

[521] Matt.12:28 But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come on you.

[522] Ezek.18:30 Therefore I will judge you, house of Israel, everyone according to his ways, says the Lord Yahweh. Return you, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, in which you have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies, says the Lord Yahweh: therefore turn yourselves, and live.

[523] Heb.6:4 For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.

[524] 1Tim.4:1 But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons,

[525] Matt.7:22 Many will tell me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy by your name, by your name cast out demons, and by your name do many mighty works?' Then I will tell them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.'

[526] James2:17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. Yes, a man will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith. You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder.

[527] Titus1:16 They profess that they know God, but by their works they deny him, being abominable, disobedient, and unfit for any good work.

[528] Phil.3:10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death;

[529] Matt.5:11 "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

[530] Luke9:23 He said to all, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it.

[533] Rev.21:8 But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

[534] James1:21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

[535] Matt.10:28 Don't be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

[536] Jer.21:12 House of David, thus says Yahweh, Execute justice in the morning, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn so that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

[537] Col.2:11 in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

[538] Rom.5:8 But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

[539] 2Cor.5:14 For the love of Christ constrains us; because we judge thus, that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.

[540] Jer.4:4 Circumcise yourselves to Yahweh, and take away the foreskins of your heart, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn so that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

[541] Heb.10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.

[542] Deut.22:25 But if the man find the lady who is pledged to be married in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her; then the man only who lay with her shall die: but to the lady you shall do nothing; there is in the lady no sin worthy of death: for as when a man rises against his neighbor, and kills him, even so is this matter; for he found her in the field, the pledged to be married lady cried, and there was none to save her. If a man find a lady who is a virgin, who is not pledged to be married, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; then the man who lay with her shall give to the lady's father fifty [shekels] of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has humbled her; he may not put her away all his days.

[543] Matt.25:1 "Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom.

[544] John8:34 Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.

Heb.2:14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

[545] Rev.5:9 They sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the book, And to open its seals: For you were killed, And bought us for God with your blood, Out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,

[546] Gen.29:18 Jacob loved Rachel. He said, "I will serve you seven years for Rachel, your younger daughter."

[547] Acts20:28 Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood.

[548] 1Cor.6:19 Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

[550] Is.53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out his soul to death, and was numbered with the transgressors: yet he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

[553] James2:10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he has become guilty of all. For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," said also, "Do not commit murder." Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

[555] Matt.18:23 Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants. When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.

[556] Eph.2:1 You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience; among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

[564] 2Pet.3:12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which dwells righteousness.

[565] Is.65:21 They shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree shall be the days of my people, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for calamity; for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahweh, and their offspring with them.

[566] Rev.9:1 The fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from the sky fallen to the earth. The key to the pit of the abyss was given to him. He opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke from a burning furnace. The sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke from the pit. Then out of the smoke came forth locusts on the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

[567] Rom.3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God. Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

It was given to her that she would array herself in bright, pure, fine linen: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. He said to me, "Write, 'Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" He said to me, "These are true words of God."

[621] Rev.20:4 I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn't worship the beast nor his image, and didn't receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived, and reigned with Christ for the thousand years. The rest of the dead didn't live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

[626] Gal.3:14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. Brothers, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case. The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ. What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise.

[627] Heb.11:35 Women received their dead by resurrection. Others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. [632] Heb.6:4 For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.

[633] 1Tim.1:19 holding faith and a good conscience; which some having thrust away made a shipwreck concerning the faith;

[634] James2:17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.

[635] Eph.2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.

[636] 2Cor.6:1 Working together, we entreat also that you not receive the grace of God in vain,

[637] 2Tim.4:7 I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.

[638] Rom.1:17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."

[639] Matt.10:38 He who doesn't take his cross and follow after me, isn't worthy of me. He who finds his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.

[640] 1Pet.1:9 receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

[641] Matt.22:12 and he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here not having wedding clothing?' He was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.' For many are called, but few chosen."

[642] Matt.25:8 The foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' But the wise answered, saying, 'What if there isn't enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.'

[643] Matt.5:16 Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Eph.5:8 For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

1Thess.5:5 You are all sons of light, and sons of the day. We don't belong to the night, nor to darkness,

[644] Rev.19:8 It was given to her that she would array herself in bright, pure, fine linen: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

[645] Lev.6:10 The priest shall then put on his linen clothes, with linen undergarments next to his body, and shall remove the ashes of the burnt offering that the fire has consumed on the altar and place them beside the altar.

[646] 1Cor.15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.

2Cor.5:4 For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened; not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now he who made us for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.

[647] 1Sam.16:13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brothers: and the Spirit of Yahweh came mightily on David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

  Is.61:1 The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening [of the prison] to those who are bound;

Zech.4:12 I asked him the second time, "What are these two olive-branches, which are beside the two golden spouts, that pour the golden oil out of themselves?" He answered me, "Don't you know what these are?" I said, "No, my lord." Then he said, "These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth."

[648] John5:35 He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light. But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.

2Pet.1:19 We have the more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns, and the day star arises in your hearts:

[649] Rev.4:5 Out of the throne proceed lightnings, sounds, and thunders. There were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

[650] John3:33 He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.

[651] 2Cor.1:21 Now he who establishes us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God; who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.

Eph.1:13 in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation, -- in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of his glory.

2Cor.5:4 For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened; not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now he who made us for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.

[652] Luke18:8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

[653] Heb.11:35 Women received their dead by resurrection. Others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. Others were tried by mocking and scourging, yes, moreover by bonds and imprisonment. They were stoned. They were sawn apart. They were tempted. They were slain with the sword. They went around in sheepskins, in goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, ill-treated

[654] Rev.20:5 The rest of the dead didn't live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.

[655] Mark10:29 "I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields--and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.

[656] Rev.21:4 He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away. He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."https://youtu.be/AupisuARmgQ?feature=shared
