When does the great tribulation begin?
= When is the abomination of desolation stood in the holy place?[1] = When does the son of destruction sit in the temple building?[2] = When are the sacrifice and the offering be ceased?[3] = After 1335 days from the beginning of the great tribulation[4], will the LORD Jesus come only to the air[5] or even to the earth?[6] = Is 1335 days after the beginning of the great tribulation, the time for the saints to be resurrected or transformed[7] or the time when the 1000-year kingdom is established?[8]
At the end of the tribulation, the great tribulation will occur, and after the great tribulation, 7 plagues that are greater than the great tribulation, will be poured out. In the time of the tribulation, not only the saints but also the wicked suffer, but in the time of the great tribulation mainly only the saints[9] and the 7 plagues only the wicked.[10] Through the tribulation, more than half of the world's population first dies[11], and only after that does the great tribulation begin for the saints. Opinions may differ as to whether there will be a massacre of the saints for 42 months before the great tribulation, or whether those 42 months will also be included in the great tribulation period. Anyway in the period of the great tribulation, only the saints are slaughtered intensely.[12] Even before the great tribulation, the saints were constantly being slaughtered[13], but during the period of the great tribulation the saints will be slaughtered even more fiercely.[14]  No matter when the great tribulation begins, before that, the people of the earth1/4 had already died[15] from wars, famines[16], epidemics[17], and oppressions of governments[18], (another view, deceptions of false prophets) and many saints were martyred.[19] From this point on, when many people have already died, the situation continues to be deteriorated endlessly[20] until the end of the planet.[21] Even after the people of the earth1/4 died, 1/3 of the plants were burned and the food shortage became very serious[22], 1/3 of the sea turned into blood, making it difficult to obtain seafood[23], and 1/3 of the rivers became bitter, causing drinking and agricultural water to be polluted.[24] It became very difficult to obtain food, and the food shortage became even more serious as the plants did not sufficiently photosynthesize due to the decrease of 1/3 of the duration of sunshine.[25] In countries or continents without drinking water, people cannot survive unless water is brought from outside. In countries or continents that have suffered a disaster, water, electricity and gas supply will not be available properly. From this point on, the tribulation gets worse.[26]  In a world of slaughter and brutal crimes around the world[27], catastrophic food shortages, and increasingly chaos caused by infectious diseases that die when caught, 1/3 of the world's population still surviving by then dies[28], and the son of destruction who has taken over the superpower[29] begins to rule over the world.[30] Humanity who has been endangering life in the chaos of death and ruin, eagerly welcomes this abomination of desolation which rises with peace and stability from the perishing earth.[31] From this point on, the 70th week begins[32] and the worship of the beast is forced for 42 months.[33] Satan goes mad only to kill the saints and pours out all his murderous intent and wrath on God's people.[34] The great tribulation which has not been there since the creation of the world, is about to begin.
Premise1: Assume that the verse translated 'in the midst of the week' in Dan 9:27 can also be translated as 'in the week' or 'during the half of the week'. If the intent of the bible in the original language is precisely 'at half point of the 70th week', then the great tribulation must begin around the half point of the 70th week, after the 1st half of the 70th week is over. Premise2: When the son of destruction sits in the temple building[35], the offering of the temple building is abolished and the great tribulation begins.[36] Premise3: The 2 witnesses prophesy for 1260 days in the 1st half of the 70th week.[37] Premise4: The beasts force people to worship the sea beast for 42 months in the 1st half of the 70th week.[38] Premise5: After the 1st half of the 70th week is over, after 1260 days, after 42 months from the beginning of the 70th week, the LORD Jesus comes into the air, resurrects or transforms the martyr witnesses, and catches them up into the air.[39] Premise6: Just before the beginning of the 7 plagues of the great tribulation, the 7th trumpet is sounded[40] and the 1st resurrection takes place.[41] Premise7: Although deceptions have always existed, it is strengthened as the great deception during the time of the great tribulation.[42]
As the son of destruction sits in the temple building, calls himself God, and abolishes the sacrifice and the offering, the great tribulation that has not been since the foundation of the world, begins. If the 'week half' in Dan 9:27 means 'at half point of the week', then the son of destruction will sit in the temple building at the end of the 1st half of the 70th week, and the sacrifice and the offering will be abolished at the end of the 1st half of the 70th week, and the great tribulation will begin around half point of the 70th week. However, if the 'week half' in Dan 9:27 means 'for half', then the son of destruction will sit in the temple building as soon as the 70th week begins, and the sacrifice and the offering will be abolished at that time, and all the period of the 1st half of the 70th week will be included in the period of the great tribulation.  There may be a view that views the 'week half' in Dan 9:27 as 'in the week'. Then, the prostitute who rode the beast, the son of destruction who took control of the beast[43], would sit in the temple building at some point in the 42-month period in which she took over the world, calling herself God, and abolishing the sacrifice and the offering. I don't know if she will sit after 20 months or 30 months after the beginning of the 70th week. But that period cannot exceed 42 months. This is because the son of destruction can only run wild for the 1st half of the 70th week, that is, for the 1st 42 months of the 70th week, even though the 70th week is 84 months in total. After the 1st half of the 70th week, around the half point of the 70th week, the LORD Jesus comes into the air and pours out 7 plagues on the earth.[44] After that, the beast burns the son of destruction.[45] Therefore, the only time when the son of destruction can sit in the temple building and call himself God, is only for 42 months, for the 1st half of the 70th week of the last remaining 1 week. If the 'week half' in Dan 9:27 means 'in the week'[46], the great tribulation will begin from the time when the son of destruction sits in the temple building, for the 42 months of the 1st half of the 70th week.  [Temporary translation] Dan 9:27 He will confirm the covenant with many people for 1 week. He will cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease in the 1 week. And the abomination that causes destruction will stand on its wings.[47] Until the end. What is determined will be poured out on the desolate.  1290 and 1335 days after the son of destruction sits in the temple building, a blessed event will happen.[48] After 1290 and 1335 days from the beginning of the great tribulation, a blessed event will happen. If the son of destruction sits in the temple building at the beginning of the 1st half of the 70th week, a blessed event will happen after 1335 days from the beginning of the 1st half of the 70th week. If the son of destruction sits in the temple building at the end of the 1st half of the 70th week, a blessed event will happen after 1335 days from the end of the 1st half of the 70th week. No matter when the son of destruction sits in the temple building, after 1335 days from that time, a blessed event will happen.

Matt.24:15 "When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), Matt.24:16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Matt.24:20 Pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on a Sabbath, Matt.24:21 for then will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be. Matt.24:22 Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the elect's sake, those days will be shortened. Matt.24:23 "Then if any man tells you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or, 'There,' don't believe it. Matt.24:24 For there will arise false Christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Matt.24:29 But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give her light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken; Matt.24:30 and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.
When the abomination of desolation stands in the holy place, the great tribulation that has not existed since the creation of the world, will occur. At the end of the great tribulation, the 7th trumpet is sounded and the LORD Jesus comes into the air. The LORD Jesus who comes into the air, resurrects and transforms the martyr witnesses and catches them up into the air. And He pours out 7 plagues on the earth. The 7 plagues are also a part of the great tribulation, but the saints avoid the 7 plagues.[49]
The great tribulation will continue for at least 42 months of the 1st half of the 70th week. However, after the 1st half of the 70th week is over, the great tribulation will not last any longer for the saints because God will resurrect and transform the saints. The period of the great tribulation for the saints will be reduced because the LORD Jesus will catch the martyr witnesses up into the air before pouring out the 7 plagues on the earth. But the wicked on the earth will have to go through the 7 plagues that are more painful than the great tribulation.		The 1st half of the 70th week is 1260 days, 42 months, 3 years and 6 months. But the days of the great tribulation will be reduced. Therefore, if the great tribulation begins with the beginning of the 1st half of the 70th week, it means that the period of the great tribulation is set to be at least 42 months. The already fixed period cannot be reduced.
2Thess.2:3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction, 2Thess.2:4 he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God. 2Thess.2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way. 2Thess.2:8 Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nothing by the brightness of his coming; 2Thess.2:9 even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2Thess.2:10 and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn't receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2Thess.2:11 Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie; 2Thess.2:12 that they all might be judged who didn't believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
As a result of the apostasy that had occurred until then, the son of destruction sits in the temple building. As the son of destruction sits in the temple building and abolishes the sacrifice and the offering, the 70th week, that is, the 1st half of the 70th week, begins. At the same time as the beginning of the 70th week, the great tribulation occurs. The great tribulation is accompanied by powerful deceptions. False christs and false prophets will arise and, if possible, will try to deceive even the elect. This is the time when the beast sends down fire from heaven.[50] Until the resurrection and the transformation, the saints will have to endure the great tribulation, so the period of the great tribulation will be a little more than 42 months of the 1st half of the 70th week. The great tribulation will continue until all the powers of the saints are broken[51], and many saints will be victorious through their martyrdom.[52]		For 42 months of the 1st half of the 70th week, the worship of the prostitute beast is forced, and those who worship the son of destruction receive the mark of the beast. Apostasy happens first. Only when the apostasy of the 1st half of the 70th week occurs first, the son of destruction can sit in the temple building at half point of the 70th week. The worship of the prostitute is only enforced after the beginning of the 1st half of the 70th week. Even before the worship of the prostitute was not forced, the prostitute could not sit in the temple building from the beginning.
Dan.9:27 He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease; and on the wing of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, shall [wrath] be poured out on the desolate.
The original meaning of this word is that for the half period of the 70th week, the abomination of desolation will stand in the temple building and the sacrifice and the offering will be abolished. It does not mean that this will happen for a while at half point of the 70th week.  The abomination of desolation, the son of destruction, is the beast that came up from the sea, the prostitute who took control of the superpower. Until the 1st resurrection takes place, the mother of the prostitutes Babylon the great will take over the superpower and will try to kill anyone who does not worship her.[53]  For 42 months of the 1st half of the 70th week, the period when the son of destruction, the prostitute, sits in the temple building and claims himself to be God, it is the time when worship of the prostitute who has taken over the beast, is forced. If it is not until the half point of the 70th week that the son of destruction sits in the temple building and abolishes the sacrifice and the offering, it means that the sacrifice and the offering would have been offered while the worship of the prostitute was forced.  The 1st half of the 70th week is the period for the son of destruction to kill anyone who does not worship him. If the son of destruction will sit in the temple building at the half point of the 70th week, to whom would the sacrifice and the offering offered in the temple building be offered before the son of destruction sat in the temple building? Is it possible to offer sacrifices to something other than the Babylon prostitute for the 42 months in which worship of the Babylon prostitute is forced?  The Babylon prostitute claims that she is God and forces people to worship her. Worship is offered only to God. Can anyone force people to worship him/her without claiming himself/herself to be God?				The original meaning of this word is that at half point of the 70th week, the abomination of desolation will stand in the temple building and the sacrifice and the offering will be abolished. It does not mean that this will happen for the entire period of the 1st half of the 70th week, for the half of the 70th week.  For 42 months of the 1st half of the 70th week, worship of the beast that came up from the sea, worship of the prostitute who took control of the superpower, is forced, and all worshipers of the beast receive the mark of the beast666. And in the meantime, the sacrifice and the offering will be being offered at the temple building. Although the son of destruction has not sit in the temple building yet and it is a time when worship for the son of destruction is forced, the sacrifice and the offering will be being offered. Even if they worship God in the temple building of Israel and offer the sacrifice and the offering, those who offer the sacrifice and the offering in the temple building, are not true worshipers of God. If these are true worshipers of God, they will worship the LORD Jesus rather than offering sacrifices in the temple building. Since these are not true worshipers of God, they may receive the mark of the beast while worshiping the prostitute in order to offer sacrifices in the temple building. Nevertheless, when the half point of the 70th week comes, the prostitute will sit in the temple building, claiming that she is God, and even abolish the sacrifice and the offering.
Dan.11:31 Forces shall stand on his part, and they shall profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and shall take away the continual [burnt offering], and they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate. Dan.11:32 Such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he pervert by flatteries; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and do [exploits]. Dan.11:33 Those who are wise among the people shall instruct many; yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, [many] days. Dan.11:34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help; but many shall join themselves to them with flatteries. Dan.11:35 Some of those who are wise shall fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed. Dan.11:36 The king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods; and he shall prosper until the indignation be accomplished; for that which is determined shall be done. Dan.12:9 He said, Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Dan.12:10 Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand. Dan.12:11 From the time that the continual [burnt offering] shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred ninety days. Dan.12:12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.
The resurrection and the transformation will take place after 1335 days from the time when the abomination of desolation is set up.  When the 70th week begins, the son of destruction will sit in the temple building, and the sacrifice and the offering of the temple building will be abolished. And then the great tribulation takes place. Therefore, the great tribulation will continue for at least 1260 days of the 1st half of the 70th week, until the 1st resurrection which will take place around the half point of the 70th week. However, here God is referring to the period of 1290 days. 1290 days is the period of 1260 days of the 1st half of the 70th week plus 30 days. (1260+30=1290) Perhaps because the great tribulation lasts for 1290 days, God is saying that 'and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be 1290 days'. Then the period of the great tribulation would be about 1290 days. And seeing that God said that 'blessed is he who waits, and comes to the 1335 days', it seems that 45 days after the great tribulation is over, the 1st resurrection will take place.  God says that the above will happen for 1290 days from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished, and the abomination of desolation is set up. For 1290 days, there will be saints who know their God and shall be strong and there will be saints who shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil. During this great tribulation period, the archangel Michael will be active, and the great tribulation will continue for the 1 time times and a half, until all the power of the saints will be broken. The saints who endure the great tribulation of 1290 days and attain to the 1335 days, will be blessed because they will be resurrected or transformed as martyr witnesses.[54]			The 1000-year kingdom will be established after 1335 days from the time when the abomination of desolation is set up.  At about half point of the 70th week, the son of destruction will sit in the temple building, as abolishing the sacrifice and the offering of the temple building. And there will be the great tribulation. The period of the great tribulation itself is not expected to be very long, because the 1st resurrection will soon take place and the 7 plagues will be poured out on the earth. However, even for the 1st half of the 70th week before the great tribulation, the saints were slaughtered by the beasts. If the days of the great tribulation are not reduced, the period of the great tribulation will be so severe that no body can be saved. This means that the period of the great tribulation will not be long, but that does not mean that the period of tribulation itself will not be long.  After 1290 days since the son of destruction sits in the temple building, blessed are those who reach 1335 days. About half point of the 70th week, the son of destruction sits in the temple building and the great tribulation occurs, so it seems that after 1335 days from the half point of the 70th week, a blessed event will occur. Since the resurrection and the transformation will take place a little after the half point of the 70th week, this blessed event may not be the resurrection and the transformation. The time when this blessed event takes place, is the time about 75 more days have elapsed after the 1260 days of the 2nd half of the 70th week have passed. Therefore, this blessed event will probably be the establishment of the new heaven and the new earth. The blessings that will occur in the 70th week are largely the 1st resurrection at half point of the 70th week and the 1000-year kingdom at the end of the 70th week. The blessing after 1335 days from about the half point of the 70th week, is probably the blessing of participating in the 1000-year kingdom.
Rev.13:12 He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. He makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. Rev.13:13 He performs great signs, even making fire come down out of the sky on the earth in the sight of men. Rev.13:14 He deceives my own people who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given to him to do in front of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who had the sword wound and lived. Rev.13:15 It was given to him to give breath to it, to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as wouldn't worship the image of the beast to be killed.
As the 1st half of the 70th week began, the son of destruction was seated in the temple building and the sacrifice and the offering was abolished in the temple building. So, while the sea beast and the earth beast are forcing people to worship the sea beast for the 1st half of the 70th week, the regular sacrifice will not be offered in the temple building.			Even for the 1st half of the 70th week, during the time when the beast worship is forced, the regular sacrifice will be offered in the temple building. Then, around the time when the 1st half of the 70th week is over and the son of destruction sits in the temple building, the regular sacrifice will be abolished.
I believe that the great tribulation begins with the 70th week and ends with the 1st resurrection of the martyr witnesses. This means that the entire 1st half of the 70th week is viewed as the period of the great tribulation.   ① [At half point of the 70th week[55] = 7th trumpet[56] = Last trumpet[57]] The 1st resurrection will take place at half point of the 70th week after the 1st half of the 70th week.[58] ② [1st resurrection = Only once] The 1st resurrection of the martyr witnesses will only take place once.[59] ③ After the martyr witnesses have been caught up into the air, only beast worshipers will remain on the earth. In other words, in the 2nd half of the 70th week when the 7 plagues are poured out, there will be only beast worshipers who have received the mark of the beast666 on the earth.[60] ④ It makes no sense for the mark of the beast666 to be enforced where there are no saints. ⑤ If there are no beast armies to be smashed by the 2 witnesses, how can the 2 witnesses smash the beast armies?[61] ⑥ How can there be the beast armies when the reign of the beast has not yet begun?[62] ⑦ The attack of the 2 witnesses or the prepared place are meaningful only under the reign of the beast.[63] ⑧ [1st resurrection = Better resurrection[64] = The resurrection or the transformation of all the martyr witnesses] Whether the 2 witnesses who have smashed the beast armies or the martyr witnesses who have been slaughtered by the beast armies, all the martyr witnesses in human history, at the end of the 42 months of the beast reign, they will be resurrected or transformed at once and will be caught up into the air.[65] ⑨ [2nd half of the 70th week = 7 plagues = Judgment against the prostitute beast] The 7 plagues that are poured out in the 2nd half of the 70th week, are the judgment against the prostitute beast.[66] ⑩ The saints will not remain on the earth while the 7 plagues are being poured out, but the beasts being judged by the 7 plagues cannot persecute the saints.[67] ⑪ There will be no saints left on the earth without the proclamation of the 2 witnesses. ⑫ There will be no saints who will repent without the proclamation of the 2 witnesses and thus come to warn of the mark of the beast666.[68] ⑬ The saints will not be able to stop the beast armies without the 2 witnesses.[69] ⑭ [Prepared place = Protection by the 2 witnesses] The 2 witnesses who smash the armies of the beast and protect the saints are the prepared place.[70]    There is, however, one point that needs explanation. Since this view regards the 42 months of the reign of the beast as the period of the great tribulation, the period of the great tribulation is fixed at 42 months. But the LORD Jesus said that the period of the great tribulation would be shortened.[71] Does this mean that the period of the great tribulation is at least 42 months after shortening?  I see the 42 months of the 1st half of the 70th week as the period of the great tribulation in which the son of destruction manipulates the superpower and forces the whole world to worship the beast.[72] It will be 1290 days from the time when the son of destruction sits in the temple building[73], and the martyr witnesses who keep waiting and attain to the 1335 days will be blessed.[74] Because then the 1st resurrection will take place.[75] Could these 45 days be shortened? Then, it means that even in the time of Daniel, the angel already knew even the period of the great tribulation.[76] Why did the LORD Jesus say that only His Father knows that day?[77]  I think like this. The period of the great tribulation is set, but we do not know the starting point when the great tribulation will begin. The 7 plagues are more severe disaster than the great tribulation. The martyr witnesses only suffer the tribulation caused by the beasts, not the disaster of the 7 plagues.[78] The 7 plagues will not be poured out on the earth until the martyr witnesses are resurrected or transformed.[79] The wicked who are left on the earth will suffer the disaster of the 7 plagues, but the martyr witnesses will escape the 7 plagues.[80] For the martyr witnesses who avoid the 7 plagues, the days of tribulation will be reduced. The martyr witnesses will avoid the 3rd woe.[81] The LORD Jesus comes again to judge Satan fraudswarms. But before reaching even the earth, the LORD Jesus first catches the martyr witnesses up into the air.[82] Around the 1335th-day after the great tribulation began, just before the pouring out of the 7 plagues, the days of tribulation are reduced for the sake of the elect.
Conclusion  Whether the great tribulation begins with the 1st half of the 70th week, or begins at half point of the 70th week, or begins at certain point in the 1st half of the 70th week, the great tribulation surely ends with the 1st resurrection which the LORD Jesus who has come into the air catches the martyr witnesses up into the air.[83] There may be different views on when the great tribulation begins, but there cannot be different views on when the great tribulation ends. Whether the regular sacrifice of the temple building is abolished as soon as the 1st half of the 70th week begins, or the regular sacrifice of the temple building is abolished at half point of the 70th week, or whether the regular sacrifice of the temple building is abolished at certain point in the 1st half of the 70th week, around the time just before the 1st half of the 70th week begins, there is probably the animal sacrifice being offered in the temple building.[84] Whether the son of destruction sits in the temple building as soon as the 1st half of the 70th week begins, or sits at half point of the 70th week[85], or sits at certain point in the 1st half of the 70th week, for 42 months of the 1st half of the 70th week[86], the beast worship is forced and the mark of the beast666 is placed on those who worship the beast. No matter when the great tribulation which has not been seen since the creation of the world, begins[87], after 1260 days, 42 months, of the 1st half of the 70th week, the LORD Jesus will soon come into the air.[88] So, the great tribulation must end soon after the 2nd half of the 70th week begins.[89]  The great tribulation must end as the LORD Jesus catches the saints up into the air. Also, after 1335 days from the beginning of the great tribulation, that is, from the time when the son of destruction sits in the temple building[90], there will be a blessed event.[91] If this blessed event signifies the 1st resurrection, that is, if this blessed event signifies the completion[92] of the proof of the truthfulness of the commandments[93], then the great tribulation will begin 1335 days before the LORD Jesus comes into the air. With the proven truthfulness of the commandments, the remaining doubts about God in the creatures[94] are extinguished[95], and the free will of the creatures is thus perfected.[96] In other words, the atonement is made. If this blessed event means the 1000-year kingdom, that is, if this blessed event means the completion of atonement for the creation world, that is, for the true temple[97] and Hades the altar of burnt offering[98], then the great tribulation will begin around 1335 days before the LORD Jesus comes even to the earth. When the atonement for the creation world is completed, Azazel Satan is imprisoned in the wilderness abyss.[99] No matter when the great tribulation begins, it will always end when the LORD Jesus catches the saints up into the air.  When the great tribulation is over, the terrible 7 plagues that are incomparable to the great tribulation that the martyr witnesses had to endure, will be poured out on the wicked who are left on the earth.[100] The great tribulation was nothing but an insanity of Satan, a creature that ran wild under God's permission[101], but the 7 plagues are the wrath of God the Creator, the fearful God who allowed Satan to go wild.[102] It is not as hard as it can be endured[103], but enduring and enduring will eventually cross the limit and many will die.[104] And after the 7 plagues, the judgment of the lake of fire awaits which is incomparable with the 7 plagues.[105] If the 7 plagues were merely a judgment that only hurts the body and kills it, the lake of fire is a judgment[106] that burns and annihilates[107] not only the spirit[108], the soul, and the body[109], but also Hades and death.[110] Criminals who rebelled against God the Creator and trampled on their neighbors to the end[111], will not be able to avoid even the slightest amount of punishment for the crime they have committed.[112]

 

What does it mean that the days of the great tribulation will be shortened?
Matt.24:21 for then will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be. Matt.24:22 Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the elect's sake, those days will be shortened.
For the martyr witnesses who were martyred by death, it does not matter whether the days of the great tribulation are extended or shortened.[113] Their earthen body has already returned to dust and has nothing to do with suffering, so what effect can the great tribulation have on them?[114] The reason why the days of the great tribulation must be shortened is because there are martyr witnesses who must survive and be transformed.[115] Their earthen bodies do not return to dust until they are transformed, but must be preserved. In order to not only resurrect the martyr witnesses who were martyred by death, but also to transform the martyr witnesses who were martyred with their lives, before pouring out of the 7 plagues, after the tribulation of the reign of the beast is over, the LORD Jesus will resurrect or transform the martyr witnesses[116] and catch them up into the air.[117] The witnesses who have survived under the protection of the LORD Jesus through the 2 witnesses until then[118], will be resurrected or transformed and escape the 7 plagues.[119]  During the reign of the beast, the saints are protected through the 2 witnesses.[120] But the LORD Jesus says that the days will be shortened for the salvation of the flesh. It means that there are times when the 2 witnesses will not be able to protect the saints, and those times will be shortened.[121] It will be 1290 days from the time when the son of destruction sits in the temple building, and blessed are the saints who wait and come to the 1335 days.[122] Because then they will be resurrected or transformed.[123] In other words, it means that the period of the reign of the beast is already set at a maximum of 1335 days. But what does it mean to say that the days of the great tribulation will be shortened?
Dan.12:11 From the time that the continual [burnt offering] shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred ninety days. Dan.12:12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred thirty-five days. Matt.24:15 "When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

Great tribulation= 1st half of the 70th week = 2nd woe = Reign of the beast ※Strictly speaking, the 2nd woe = people1/3death + the beast reign.[124] The intention here is to refer only to the part of the reign of the beast.	Great tribulation= 70th week = 2nd woe + 3rd woe = Reign of the beast + 7 plagues ※I do not conclude that the 3rd woe only refers to the 7 plagues. There may be several views.[125]
Matt.24:29 But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give her light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken; Matt.24:30 and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. Matt.24:31 He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
Since it was said that the LORD Jesus would come after the tribulation[126], the great tribulation must already be over when the LORD Jesus comes. The 42 months, that is, the 1260 days of the reign of the beast, must have come to an end. Therefore, the 7 plagues will not be included in the great tribulation. The great tribulation will only mean the reign of the beast in the 1st half of the 70th week. This means that only the 42 months of the 1st half of the 70th week of the peried of the 2nd woe will be the period of the great tribulation, and the 7 plagues of the 3rd woe will not be included in the great tribulation.  When 1335 days have passed since the abomination of desolation, the son of destruction, sat in the temple building, the LORD Jesus comes.[127] Since the period of the great tribulation is 1335 days, in order for the period of the great tribulation to be shortened, it must be shortened from the 1335 days. Besides 1260 days in 42 months, 1290 days are mentioned here. Therefore, the shortened days of the great tribulation would be 1335 - 1290 = 45 days or 1335 - 1260 = 75 days. The period of the great tribulation which should have originally lasted 1335 days, was shortened to 1290 or 1260 days for the salvation of the flesh. Here, the salvation of the flesh refers to the 'transformation' of the martyr witnesses who are being martyred with their lives.[128]  This does not mean that the LORD Jesus who was originally supposed to come in 1335 days, will come in 1290 or 1260 days. The LORD Jesus will come after 1335 days as scheduled, and the 1st resurrection will also take place at this time. However, it means that the saints who should have suffered the great tribulation until the 1335 days, will suffer the great tribulation only for 1290 or 1260 days and will be protected from the great tribulation after that.  For the 42 months, or 1260 days, of the period of the reign of the beast, the saints have been protected by the 2 witnesses. However, at the end of the 1260 days, the armies of the beast overcome the 2 witnesses, the 144000 firstfruits. This means that by the end of the 1260 days, the saints will no longer be protected by the 144000 firstfruits. Then all the saints would be slaughtered. There will be no witnesses who can be transformed. Therefore, the LORD Jesus will reduce the days of the great tribulation for the elect's sake by protecting them in a different way. The period of 1335 days itself will not change, but the days of tribulation they must suffer will be shortened.  This view, however, must account for the difference between protection in the past through the 2 witnesses and protection through methods other than 2 witnesses. This is because the question arises, "Isn't the protection of the LORD Jesus through the 2 witnesses also shortening the days of the great tribulation?" Either way, the entire period of the great tribulation will eventually be shortened for the chosen transformers.	The tribulation which has not been since the creation of the world, includes the 7 plagues. The 7 plagues are more severe tribulation than the reign of the beast. If the 7-trumpet tribulation ravaged only about the earth1/3[129], the 7 plagues ravage almost the entire earth.[130] The great tribulation has not existed since the creation of the world and will never be in the future. If only the reign of the beast is the great tribulation, it means that after the great tribulation there will be a more severe tribulation called the 7 plagues. The great tribulation is a tribulation that will never be repeated again. Therefore, the 7 plagues will also be included in the great tribulation. But the saints will not suffer these 7 plagues. Because they will be caught up into the air. For the saints, it means that the days of the great tribulation will be shortened.  Since the 7 plagues that will be poured out in the 2nd half of the 70th week are included in the great tribulation, not only the 1st half of the 70th week but also the 2nd half of the 70th week are the period of the great tribulation. It means that all or most of the 70th week is the period of the great tribulation. In other words, it means that not only the reign of the beast[131] in the 2nd woe[132], but also the 7 plagues of the 3rd woe are included in the period of the great tribulation. Put differently, it means that the period of the 3rd woe when there are no saints on the earth, is also included in the period of the great tribulation.  The LORD Jesus is coming again to judge Satan fraudswarms. But before reaching the earth, the LORD Jesus first catches the martyr witnesses up into the air. The saints do not go through the 3rd woe, because at the end of the 2nd woe the LORD Jesus will catches the martyr witnesses up into the air.[133] The 3rd woe, the 7 plagues, will only be poured out on the wicked who remain on the earth.[134] For the saints, the period of the great tribulation will be shortened.  The 7 plagues are more severe tribulation than the reign of the beast. The martyr witnesses only suffer tribulation caused by the beast, but not the tribulation of the 7 plagues.[135] The 7 plagues will not be poured out on the earth until the martyr witnesses are resurrected or transformed.[136] The wicked who are left on the earth will suffer from the 7 plagues, but the martyr witnesses will avoid the tribulation.[137] For the martyr witnesses who avoid the 7 plagues, the days of tribulation will be shortened. Since no flesh would be saved unless those days [= Reign of the beast + 7 plagues = Days of tribulation] that would be in the 70th week were shortened, in order to transform the bodies of the witnesses who are still surviving, the LORD Jesus will transform the witnesses before He pours out the 7 plague-tribulation.
	I agree with this view.
Conclusion  Whether the great tribulation includes the 7 plagues or not, the saints will not suffer the 7 plagues. Because just before the pouring out of the 7 plagues, they will be resurrected or transformed and will be caught up into the air. No matter when the son of destruction sits in the temple building, 1335 days after the son of destruction sits in the temple building, the LORD Jesus will resurrect or transform the martyr witnesses and catch them up into the air.
Matt.24:36 But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Of that day and hour  The LORD Jesus said that only His Father knows of that day and hour[138] when these things will happen. Even Gabriel and Daniel who are mere creatures, already knew the beginning and the end of the 70-weeks that God had predestined.[139] But at this time, why did the LORD Jesus say that only His Father knows of that day and hour?[140] Since the saints will avoid the 7 plagues through the 1st resurrection, the days of the great tribulation that the saints must endure is already set at a maximum of 1335 days. What does it mean to be ready, for only the Father knows of that day and hour?[141]  I think like this. The days of the great tribulation are set, but the Father will decide when the great tribulation begins. (To be precise, God will not reveal to the creatures that day and hour that God had already foreordained[142] before the creation of the world.) The beginning and end of the 70-weeks are set[143], but the time when the blank period ends and the 70th week begins, the Father will decide. 1335 days after the beginning of the great tribulation, the LORD Jesus will come into the air and catch up the martyr witnesses[144], but the timing of the beginning of the 1335 days will be decided by the Father.[145] Although only the Father knows when the abomination of desolation will stand in the holy place[146], (I believe[147] that the Son[148] who will come in His Father's name[149] and fulfill His Father's will[150], must have known already.[151] The Son is the Word.[152]) after the great tribulation begins, even the period of time to be shortened for the salvation of the flesh may have already been determined.[153] The saints only have to endure for 1335 days at the most, and they do not even suffer from the 7 plagues.

I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn't worship the beast nor his image, and didn't receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived, and reigned with Christ for the thousand years. The rest of the dead didn't live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. Great hailstones, about the weight of a talent, came down out of the sky on men. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague is exceedingly severe.

[68] Rev.14:9 Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

[69] Zech.12:8 In that day Yahweh will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of Yahweh before them.

At the beginning of your petitions the commandment went forth, and I am come to tell you; for you are greatly beloved: therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision. Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks: it shall be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.

[77] Matt.24:36 But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

There shall be no one in the Tent of Meeting when he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place, until he comes out, and has made atonement for himself and for his household, and for all the assembly of Israel.

  Rev.15:7 One of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power. No one was able to enter into the temple, until the seven plagues of the seven angels would be finished.

[98] Lev.16:17 There shall be no one in the Tent of Meeting when he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place, until he comes out, and has made atonement for himself and for his household, and for all the assembly of Israel. The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. They two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.
