Rev.14:1 I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. †   The Son came in the name of His Father[1] and inherited the name placed upon the throne of His Father[2] and sat down at the right hand of His Father[3], so at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth.[4] Considering this, the name that the Father placed on the throne of the creation world is thought to be the name given to His Son, that is, 'Jesus'.[5] In other words, since the Son inherited His Father's name placed in the creation world, the name of the Father and the name of the Son would be the same name, 'Jesus'.[6] Therefore, I believe that the name written on the foreheads of the 144000 firstfruits, is 'Jesus'. †   The meaning of the name 'Yahweh' is 'The Existing One' or 'The One who exists', and is derived from 'I AM WHO I AM = hawyaw asher hawyaw = I will be what I will be'. The meaning of the name 'Jesus' is 'Yahweh is salvation', that is, 'The Existing One is salvation', or 'The One who exists is salvation'. Therefore, the most accurate meaning of the name 'Jesus', is probably 'I will be what I will be is salvation'.[7] Rev.2:17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it. †   Someone might think that the new name saints received is written on the foreheads of the 144000 firstfruits, but it is probably not because the new name saints received is written on a stone, and no one knows the name except our LORD and the one who receives it. Of course, this stone might mean something other than an actual 'stone'.[8]

Name sealed on foreheads

Rev.7:2 I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea, Rev.7:3 saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!" Rev.7:4 I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel: †   It is said that 144000 are sealed on their foreheads, but the name of the Lamb and His Father is written on the foreheads of the 144000 who stand with the Lamb on Mount Zion. Therefore, to be sealed would mean to have the name of the Father and His Son written on the forehead. It might not actually be written, but God will see His name on the foreheads of the 144000 firstfruits. Rev.22:3 There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him. Rev.22:4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. †   On the foreheads of the royal priests who serve the Son in new Jerusalem, the Son's name, that is, above every name, is written. Rev.3:12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name. †   The Son writes the name of His Father and the name of new Jerusalem and His own new name on the overcomers who have become pillars of the temple.
