| My interpretation of Revelation 12 |
| Premise1: Assume that the 144000 in Revelation 7[1] and the 144000 in Revelation 14[2] refer to the same people. Premise2: I see the 144000 as the firstfruits who are redeemed from among men and as the 2 witnesses.[3] Premise3: Assume that Michael throws Satan down to the earth[4] when the time of the sounding of the 5th trumpet.[5] Premise4: Assume that the sealing of the 144000 which started after the 6th seal is broken[6], finishes before the 7th seal is broken. Premise5: Assume that the incense offered up after the breaking of the 7th seal[7], represents the incense of atonement.[8] |
| Rev.12:1 A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. Rev.12:2 She was with child. She cried out, laboring and in pain, giving birth. † This woman is the images of God who received the word of God[9], the true Israel.[10] Many of the outward Israelites were decendants of the serpent[11], but among them were images of God.[12] The Seed of the woman is born from the outward Israel[13], and the true Israel, that is, the true church[14], comes from the Seed of the woman.[15] Since Satan is trying to block the way for the Seed of the woman to come, the woman who will give birth to the Seed of the woman, suffers labor pains of childbirth due to Satan's fierce attack.[16] Rev.12:3 Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns. Rev.12:4 His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child. Rev.12:5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. Her child was caught up to God, and to his throne. † The LORD Jesus is born through the woman, the true Israel.[17] After the LORD Jesus overcame Satan with His cross[18], and opened the way for the saints who follow the LORD Jesus to overcome Satan through the blood and the word and God the Holy Spirit[19], He ascended into heaven and sits on the throne.[20] † The woman is the true Israel[21], and the male child is the LORD Jesus. Although the Seed of the woman come through Israel, the true Israel also comes from the Seed of the woman. The Seed of the woman who came through the outward Israel[22] who were betrothed by the 1st covenant[23], builds the church[24] that was betrothed by the new covenant[25] on the blood that He shed Himself.[26] The woman before giving birth to the male child[27], means the true Israel who remained in the outward Israel.[28] The woman after giving birth to the male child[29], means the true Israel including even all gentile saints.[30] It is important whether or not they are God's people who truly worship God[31], not whether they are outward descendants of Abraham or not.[32] When the LORD Jesus came through Israel, Israel was not in a state of worshiping God truly.[33] However, through the LORD Jesus, all nations, whether they are descendants of Abraham outwardly or spiritually, are completed as true Israel who offer true worship to God.[34] † If we limit the woman who gave birth to the male child, to the outward Israel or to the inward Israel, the church, the prophecy that follows may be misunderstood. The woman are those who receive the seed, the word of God, and are the enemies of the serpent. Before the LORD Jesus came, the outward Israel received the word of God[35], and after the LORD Jesus came, all nations receive the word of God.[36] Satan had constantly attacked the woman, the outward Israel which would be the way for the Seed of the woman to come[37], and after the Seed of the woman came, he has also been constantly attacking the true Israel[38], the church, the woman who has been perfected with God the Holy Spirit.[39] † The outward Israel was betrothed to God[40] through the 1st covenant[41], but rejected the Bridegroom when God, the Bridegroom, came Himself.[42] And the Bridegroom makes a new covenant with everyone who promises to be the bride.[43] The Bridegroom completes the betrothal with His own blood.[44] The 1st covenant, established with the blood of animals, was close to the promise of true betrothal and was made only with the outward Israel, but the new covenant established with the blood of the Son, is the completion of betrothal and is established with all nations. Through the completed betrothal, the true church, that is, the true bride, was able to be produced. Whether Jews or Gentiles, through the completed betrothal, that is, the new covenant, are perfected as the true Israel, the true bride, the images of God, those who keep the covenant to the end, the martyr witnesses. † Misunderstanding who the woman is, can lead to misunderstanding who the male child is. Misunderstanding the woman may not be a big deal, but misunderstanding who the male child is, is a problem. This is because the timing of the 1st resurrection may be misunderstood. If the male child is misunderstood as the saints who have received the authority of a rod of iron because He is the One who will rule with a rod of iron[45], the ascension of the child may be misunderstood as the 1st resurrection of the saints. In that case, the 1260 days of the woman's flight into the wilderness after the child is caught up to the throne, may be misunderstood as the event after the 1st resurrection. Therefore, it may be misunderstood that the time when the 1st resurrection takes place, is just before the beginning of the 70th week, or that there will still be saints who will be saved on the earth even the 7 plagues are being poured out on the earth after the 1st resurrection took place. The LORD Jesus is now ruling over the creation world.[46] Here, the meaning that He will rule all nations with a rod of iron, means that He will come again and judge His enemies with a rod of iron.[47] † For the 1st half of the 70th week[48], the abomination of desolation, that is, the son of destruction sits in the temple building[49], and the great tribulation takes place.[50] (There may be an opinion that the great tribulation will begin 'with' the 1st half of the 70th week, by interpreting 'half' in Dan 9:27 as 'for half'.[51] And there may be an opinion that the great tribulation will begin 'in' the 1st half of the 70th week, by interpreting 'half' in Dan 9:27 as 'in the middle') The 1st resurrection takes place before the 7 plagues are poured out in the great tribulation period.[52] It means that even though they will be nourished in the prepared place, the saints will surely pass through the 1st half of the 70th week of the great tribulation.[53] † Except for the saints who will be martyred by death[54], until the last trumpet is sounded, the saints are nourished from the great tribulation in the prepared place for 1260 days, 42 months, for the 1st half of the 70th week.[55] When the last trumpet, the 7th trumpet, is sounded[56], the dead martyr witnesses are resurrected, and the living martyr witnesses in the prepared place are changed, and they all are caught up into the air together.[57] When all the righteous are caught up into the air and only beast worshipers remain on the earth[58], the 7 plagues are poured out on the earth. † All the righteous who refused to worship the beast at the rist of death, were caught up into the air, so there are only the wicked on earth who worshiped the beast and received the mark of the beast. The martyr witnesses are not caught up into the air before the 1260 days have begun. All the saints who will refuse to worship the beast have already been caught up into the air, so what good is that if Satan forces them to worship the beast? And what need is the prepared place protect from Satan's attack on the saints who reject the mark of the beast? Only when the saints who refuse to worship the beast remain on the earth, the mark of the beast and the prepared place are also meaningful. The prepared place of the 1260 days that God has prepared in the wilderness, is not the air where God catches up the martyr witnesses who have been resurrected or transformed into. The prepared place is on the earth.[59] The air from which the LORD Jesus catches up the martyr witnesses, is not an area that Satan dares to attack[60], because the LORD Jesus has come.[61] † After 70-weeks have passed since the decree to rebuild Jerusalem, the sins of the creation world are eradicated forever and the history of humankind come to an end.[62] When the LORD Jesus ascended into heaven and is seated on the throne, the 69 weeks are over.[63] So now only the 70th week is left. Rev.12:6 The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that there they may nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days. † After the 69 weeks and after the ascension of the LORD Jesus to the throne, the period of approximately 2000 years before the beginning of the 70th week is skipped, and the explanation about the 70th week is immediately followed. The true Israel flees to the prepared place to avoid Satan's attack for 1260 days, for the 1st half of the 70th week. There is a gap of about 2000 years between the event of the male child being caught up to the throne, the resurrection of the LORD Jesus, and the event of the woman fleeing into the wilderness, that is, the true Israel fleeing to her prepared place. However, the 2000-year blank period that follows after the 69 weeks, is skipped, and the explanation of the 70th week begins right away. Rev.12:7 There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war. Rev.12:8 They didn't prevail, neither was a place found for him any more in heaven. Rev.12:9 The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Rev.12:10 I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now is come the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night. Rev.12:11 They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death. † After the victory of the martyr witnesses, Satan is thrown down to the earth. There may be several views as to when this period is, and the possible views have been explained above.[64] Here, we will continue with the assumption that Satan will be thrown down to the earth during the '5th trumpet period', when the star that has fallen to the earth opens the abyss.[65] If we follow the other views, there may be slight differences in the explanations that follow. However, no matter when Satan is thrown down to the earth, Satan will surely raise beasts from the sea and the earth at some point, so no matter when Satan is thrown down to the earth, the starting point of the 70th week does not change. In other words, no matter when Satan is thrown down to the earth, the 70th week begins after the 6th trumpet is sounded, when Satan raises the beasts from the sea and the earth after people1/3 die.[66] † The LORD Jesus was victorious[67], and the martyr witnesses who followed the LORD Jesus, also overcame Satan through the blood of the LORD Jesus and the word and God the Holy Spirit.[68] Although the 1st resurrection has not taken place yet, since the sealing of the last firstfruits[69] to be resurrected or transformed, has been completed[70], the appointed number of martyr witnesses must have been almost completed.[71] The sealed 144000 are the firstfruits who are redeemed from among men[72] and are the last firstfruits.[73] The saints who have the firstfruits of the Spirit[74] are also martyr witnesses[75] who are sealed[76], but the sealing of the 144000 recorded in Revelation, means only the sealing of the firstfruits who are redeemed from among men. Therefore, there can be various views as to when the sealing of the saints who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, will be made[77] and when the appointed number of martyr witnesses will be completed. We don't think about this now. † In any case, the sealed firstfruits of the 144000 will never betray the LORD Jesus. The sealing of them has already been completed, and their number is set at 144000. Even if they have not yet been martyred and have only been sealed, they will surely become the martyr witnesses. There will be no vacancies that need to be refilled. We don't have to die to be martyred. There is also a living martyrdom.[78] These 144000 are those who have received powerful authority[79] from the LORD Jesus[80], and for the 1st half of the 70th week they will smash the armies of the beast[81] and prophesy the eternal gospel[82] of the last days.[83] † The massive martyrdom of the saints before the beginning of the reign of the beast, takes place during the time of the 5th seal[84], and after the 6th seal is broken, the 144000 are sealed.[85] When the sealing of the 144000 is finished, the 7th seal is broken and the incense for the atonement is offered.[86] Since there are saints who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, other than the firstfruits who are redeemed from among men, the appointed number of martyr witnesses must not be fully filled with just the sealing of the 144000. Anyway, the 144000 are the last firstfruits, the firstfruits who are redeemed from among men. It is highly likely that the appointed number of martyr witnesses, if not all, will be nearly completed through the sealing. The 1st resurrection cannot take place until the appointed number of martyr witnesses is fully completed, and without the 1st resurrection[87], the free will of the creatures cannot be perfected either.[88] This is because the proof of God's love and justice has not been completed. Since the atonement is to perfect the free will of the creatures and to annihilate even the possibility to sin in the creation world, the atonement cannot be fulfilled even though the appointed number of martyr witnesses is not fully filled. Therefore, it seems that the incense of the atonement is offered at the time of the 7th seal when the sealing is finished, because the appointed number of martyr witnesses is almost completed at the time of the 6th seal. † It does not mean that most of the martyr witnesses will actually be martyred at the time of the 6th seal, but it does mean that the witnesses who will be martyred in the future will be almost confirmed at the time of the 6th seal.[89] During the reign of the beast, there will be some saints who will be martyred after hearing the eternal gospel[90], so not all of the martyr witnesses will be decided in the period of the 6th seal. Even so, it is thought that the witnesses who will surely be martyred in the future, will be almost confirmed at the time of the 6th seal, when the 144000 firstfruits, the last firstfruits, are sealed.[91] So I view incense being offered up in preparation for the atonement.[92] The actual martyrdom by death or by escape[93] will take place during the reign of the beast[94], and the appointed number of martyr witnesses will be completed at this time.[95] † Because the last firstfruits have been prepared through the sealing, Satan is thrown down to the earth.[96] When we see Satan who was thrown down to the earth, immediately raises beasts from the sea and the earth and slaughters the saints[97], the time when Satan is thrown down to the earth is around the beginning of the 70th week. This is because the 70th week begins with the appearance of the beasts.[98] The beasts come up[99] at the time of the 6th trumpet.[100] Satan who was thrown down to the earth after the 5th trumpet is sounded, raises beasts from the sea and the earth after the 6th trumpet is sounded. When Satan raises beasts from the sea and the earth, the 70th week begins. When people1/3 die after the 6th trumpet is sounded, the 70th week begins immediately. Satan who was thrown down to the earth, raises beasts from the sea and the earth and slaughters many saints for 42 months[101], for 1260 days, and eventually the appointed number of martyr witnesses will be completed.[102] † ① From a historical point of view, the atonement in which the creation world is cleansed by the blood of the Son, takes place during the period of the 7th trumpet on the Day of Atonement for the creation world.[103] However, ② From an individual point of view, each of the sealed firstfruits, are the ones whose veil of flesh was torn[104] and those who went even to the ark of the covenant covered with the blood of the Son.[105] It means that the day of atonement has been fulfilled for them personally.[106] Because the veil is torn for them, there is no distinction between the holy place and the most holy place for them. They spend their entire lives in the most holy place. These are those who always see the LORD Jesus[107] before His throne[108] through God the Holy Spirit.[109] These are those whom God the Holy Spirit engraved and sealed the law[110] in their hearts[111] and those who passed[112] all the tests[113] necessary for verification.[114] These are people like Moses who frequently visited the most holy place[115], and Abraham who passed the test of sacrificing Isaac.[116] † Even if we have God the Holy Spirit who has come as the early rain, we can grieve God the Holy Spirit[117], we can quench[118] God the Holy Spirit[119], and we can eventually betray the LORD Jesus.[120] However, since God the Holy Spirit will come down even as the latter rain to seal the 144000[121] after completing the verification[122] on them, it is assumed that the 144000 firstfruits will not sin again.[123] (Among those who have received God the Holy Spirit who has come as the early rain, are there any who have grown to a level where they can never betray the LORD Jesus?[124] Even Paul had to beat[125] and fight himself to obey.[126] However, it is speculated that some of the disciples, including Paul, would have matured to a level in which they could never betray the LORD Jesus in their later years.[127] It means that even if we just receive God the Holy Spirit who came as the early rain, personal atonement could be made for us by the blood of the LORD Jesus. There are countless witnesses[128] who did not spare their lives for God[129] even though God the Holy Spirit did not come[130], but only the spirit of Yahweh.[131]) † If they can sin again, there is a possibility that the number of 144000 will fluctuate. It means that among the sealed 144000, there may be someone who will betray the LORD Jesus. Then will the LORD Jesus seal again? Will the LORD Jesus fill the missing place with someone else? Since the sealing has already finished and the tribulation has begun, I don't think He will do that. It is not because it is difficult to seal someone during the tribulation, but because the word that the tribulation begins after the sealing of the 144000, goes against the truth.[132] For the 144000 firstfruits who are redeemed from among men, the number of people to be sealed are set and the time for sealing are also fixed, it is unlikely that there will be incomplete apostates among them. Had they been imperfect, God would not have sealed them in the first place. There will be no need to fill the vacant positions of the 144000 due to the apostasy. There is no possibility that a person officially recognized by God, will be dropped out. There is no error in God's judgment. In the first place, the 144000 are sealed because they are not defiled, they follow the Lamb wherever He goes, their mouth is found no lie, for they are blameless.[133] Therefore, I believe that the sealed 144000 will never betray the LORD Jesus. † The meaning that Satan is thrown down and the authority of Christ is come[134], it is very likely that the appointed number of the martyr witnesses, including those who will be martyred in the future, is almost completed, if not all. This is because, in order to perfect the free will of creatures, the appointed number of martyr witnesses must come out[135] to prove the truthfulness of the commandments through their resurrection and the transformation.[136] The commandments are to love God and neighbors.[137] Only those who keep the commandments overcome death.[138] The truthfulness of the commandments is proved by the resurrection and the transformation that overcome death. When the creatures confirm the truthfulness of the commandments, they come to know the love and justice of God who gave the commandments.[139] Creatures voluntarily and willingly submit to the rule of the commandments, without any doubt about God. Only then will the reign of Christ come true. † The sealed 144000[140] are symbolized by the 2 witnesses[141] who will eat the little book and prophesy again[142] for the 1260 days, for the 1st half of the 70th week. Among the 3 firstfruits, the last firstfruits are the firstfruits who are redeemed from among men. If the firstfruits who are redeemed from among men are not produced, it cannot be said that all the firstfruits have been produced[143], nor can it be said that the appointed number of martyr witnesses has been completed. I believe that the sealed 144000 are also included in the appointed number of martyr witnesses. And I do not think that God who wants the rest of the creation world[144] to come soon[145], will deliberately wait for more saints to be martyred other than the appointed number of martyr witnesses. † It seems difficult to see the time when Satan is thrown down to the earth as the time after the 1st resurrection took place. Because the dragon who was thrown down to the earth, raises the beasts from the sea and from the earth and persecutes the woman who gave birth to the male child for 1260 days. After the 1260 days, that is, 42 months[146], the saints are freed from the reign of the beast through the 1st resurrection.[147] After the last trumpet, the 7th trumpet, is sounded and the 1st resurrection takes place and the saints are caught up into the air[148], the 7 plagues are poured out on the earth.[149] Considering the time when the 1st resurrection takes place, as the 1260 days of the 1st half of the 70th week are over, the 7 plagues are poured out in the 2nd half of the 70th week, after the 1260 days of persecution and the 1st resurrection have passed. † The 1260 days would be the 1st half of the 70th week or the 2nd half of the 70th week. If we see that the saints are resurrected or transformed after the 1st half of the 70th week is over and that the dragon being thrown down to the earth after the 1st resurrection of the saints, then the 1260 days when the dragon persecutes the woman, become the 2nd half of the 70th week. If we consider the 1260 days when the dragon persecutes the woman, as the 2nd half of the 70th week after the 1st resurrection took place, it means that the 7 plagues are poured out on the earth for the 1260 days while the dragon persecutes the woman. However, the saints have already been resurrected and transformed and are caught up into the air. Then who will the dragon who is thrown down to the earth, persecute for the 1260 days? Will the woman, the true Israel, still remain on the earth after the 1st resurrection took place? During the period when God judges the earth[150], can Satan really harm the earth and the sea, raise beasts and persecute the saints? † I believe it cannot be. Moreover, if Satan is thrown down to the earth only at the end of the 1st half of the 70th week, it means that there will be no beasts on the earth for the 1260 days, for the 1st half of the 70th week. This is because Satan raises beasts from the sea and the earth only after being thrown down to the earth.[151] If so, when is the mark of the beast enforced? Therefore, I see the time when Michael threw down Satan, as just before the beginning of the 70th week, that is, just before the beginning of the 1st half of the 70th week. After the 6th trumpet is sounded, the dragon who was thrown down to the earth, raises the beasts from the sea and the earth[152], and persecutes the woman for 1260 days.[153] † If we view that the saints will be resurrected or transformed after the end of the 2nd half of the 70th week, in other words, if we view that the saints will be resurrected or transformed after the 70-weeks are over, the time when Satan who was thrown down to the earth, raises beasts from the sea and the earth and persecutes the saints for 42 months, may be the 2nd half of the 70th week, and Satan may be thrown down to the earth in the 'half of the 70th week', after the 1st half of the 70th week is over. Satan who was thrown down to the earth in the middle of the 70th week, raises beasts from the sea and the earth and persecutes the saints for 1260 days of the 2nd half of the 70th week. If so, the 1st resurrection will take place at the end of the 2nd half of the 70th week, that is, at the end of the 70th week, that is, at the end of the 70-weeks. However, if we view like this, it means that the 7 plagues → judgment against Babylon[154] → judgment against the beasts[155] → imprisoning Satan into abyss[156] that can only happen after the 1st resurrection, will begin only after the 70-weeks have been completed. If that is the case, then it is necessary to explain why human history continues and sin has not ended, even after all the 70-weeks have been completed. † Since Satan is being thrown down to the earth because of the martyrdom of the saints[157], it is true that there is a massive martyrdom before Satan is thrown down. However, I think it is unreasonable to interpret the word 'victory' by the martyr witnesses as 'victory in the 1st half of the 70th week' by the martyr witnesses. I think it is unreasonable to view the 1260 days when Satan is thown down to the earth and persecutes the woman, as the 2nd half of the 70th week. Martyrdom has always been there, and it will be during the period when the seals are broken and the trumpets are sounded until the 70th week, and it will continue to exist after the beginning of the 70th week until the 1st resurrection takes place.[158] Even after the LORD Jesus breaks the 5th seal, a great martyrdom takes place.[159] Not all martyrdom takes place in the 70th week. † After the 70-weeks are over, human history will end and sin will be practically annihilated with the perfection of the free will of the creatures.[160] However, if we consider the 1260 days that Satan raises the beasts and persecutes the true church, as the 2nd half of the 70th week, the 7 plagues → judgment against Babylon → judgment against the beasts → imprisoning Satan into abyss, remain unfulfilled even after the 70-weeks are over. Therefore, I do not see the 1260 days of Satan's persecution against the true church as the 2nd half of the 70th week, but as the 1st half of the 70th week. In the 2nd half of the 70th week, 1st resurrection → 7 plagues → judgment against Babylon → judgment against the beasts → imprisoning Satan into abyss, will take place. (There may be an opinion that the great tribulation will begin 'with' the 1st half of the 70th week, by interpreting 'half' in Dan 9:27 as 'for half'.[161] And there may be an opinion that the great tribulation will begin 'in' the 1st half of the 70th week, by interpreting 'half' in Dan 9:27 as 'in the middle'.) With the end of the 2nd half of the 70th week, all the 70-weeks end. Only then will human history in the 1st heaven and the 1st earth come to an end, sins will end practically, and the LORD Jesus will establish the new heaven and the new earth, the 1000-year kingdom.[162] † The 42 months that the dragon persecutes the woman[163], and the 1 time times and a half, that is, the 1260 days, when the woman is nourished[164], and the 1260 days when the 2 witnesses in sackcloth prophesy, are the same period.[165] Since 1 week is 7 years, 7 times[166], the 1 time times and a half, that is, the 3 times and a half, that is, 1260 days[167], is half a week, that is, 1/2 week. There may be an opinion that the 1st resurrection of the firstfruits takes place at the end of the 70th week of the 70-weeks, that is, at the end of the 2nd half of the 70th week. This view considers the 1260 days in which Satan who was thrown down to the earth, raises the beasts from the sea and the earth to persecute God's people, as the 2nd half of the 70th week. It is considered that the reign of the beast and the prophesying of the 2 witnesses take place for the 2nd half of the 70th week. According to this view, the 7th trumpet will be sounded and the 7 plagues will be poured out only at the end of the 70th week. If this view is correct, the judgment on the beasts will take place only after the 70-weeks are over. This means that the period during which the LORD Jesus comes to the earth with His army to defeat the armies of the beast, is not included in the 70th week.[168] The meaning that the event of defeating the armies of the beasts and imprisoning Azazel Satan in the abyss is not included in the 70th week, means that the official Day of Atonement for the creation world is not included in the 70-weeks. † God said that the history of Israel[169] would come to an end with the end of the 70-weeks.[170] If God meant that the atonement for the creation world would be completed at the same time as the end of the 70-weeks, this view would be wrong. But if God meant that the atonement will be completed 'around' the end of the 70-weeks, since it is certain that the judgment against the beasts also takes place around the end of the 70-weeks, there is a possibility that the view that the 1260 days for the beasts to persecute the saints is the 2nd half of the 70th week, is correct. However, in my opinion, the judgment against the sinners is also considered to be included in the 70-weeks[171], and since it is believed that the atonement for the creation world will be completed within the 70-weeks[172], it seems that the 1260 days when the reign of the beast and the prophesying by the 2 witnesses take place, refer to the the 1st half of 70th week. Rev.12:12 Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time." † Satan senses his defeat and prepares for the most severe persecution by raising the beasts from the sea and the earth[173] in order to change his disadvantage by making the last move.[174] However, since sealed firstfruits never betray God, there is no possibility of diminishing the appointed number of firstfruits. Most of the saints who have the firstfruits of the Spirit[175], who received God the Holy Spirit who comes as the early rain[176], in addition to the 144000 firstfruits[177] who are redeemed from among men[178] who received God the Holy Spirit who comes even as the latter rain[179], will be martyred.[180] The appointed number of martyr witnesses will surely be completed.[181] Satan's defeat is certain. † From this time when the beast[182] takes over the world[183], the last remaining 1week begins.[184] And with the end of the remaining 1week, all the 70-weeks come to an end. This 70th week will begin not long after the 6th trumpet is sounded and the 4 angels holding the 4 winds are released.[185] When the 7th trumpet is sounded and the 1st resurrection takes place[186], the 1260 days of the reign of the beast ends for the saints.[187] Therefore, the 1st half of the 70th week is included in the 6th trumpet period and the 2nd half of the 70th week is included in the 7th trumpet period. (There may be an opinion that the great tribulation will begin 'with' the 1st half of the 70th week, by interpreting 'half' in Dan 9:27 as 'for half'.[188] And there may be an opinion that the great tribulation will begin 'in' the 1st half of the 70th week, by interpreting 'half' in Dan 9:27 as 'in the middle'.) † The 7 plagues are poured out on the earth for the 2nd half of the 70th week which is the 7th trumpet period which begins with the 1st resurrection of the saints. The period of the 6th and 7th trumpet, that is, the period of the 2nd[189] and 3rd woe[190], contains the 70th week. When the 6th trumpet is sounded and the 4 winds are released, the beasts come up and persecute the saints for 42 months, 1260 days[191], and the prophecy is proclaimed for 1260 days, 42 months, by the 2 witnesses who ate the little book.[192] The war between the dragon who was thrown down to the earth, and the woman who gave birth to the male child, takes place for the 1 time times and a half, that is, the 3 years and 6 months, the 42 months, the 1260 days. When the 7th trumpet is sounded, the LORD Jesus comes down into the air, catches up the saints who have been resurrected or transformed[193], and pours out the 7 plagues on the earth.[194] After the 7 plagues have been poured out, the LORD Jesus comes even to the earth to judge the armies of the beast[195] and imprison Satan in the abyss[196], then the 2nd half of the 70th week is over. In other words, since the last remaining 1week of the 70-weeks is finished, all the 70-weeks are finished. † If the period during which the dragon persecutes the woman is considered as the 2nd half of the 70th week, the period of the 2nd woe is the 2nd half of the 70th week because the persecution period of the beasts is the period of the 2nd woe.[197] This means that the 70th week comes to an end with the end of the 2nd woe, the period of the 6th trumpet. After the end of the 2nd woe, the 1st resurrection takes place with the sounding of the 7th trumpet. Therefore, the 7th trumpet, the 7 plagues, the 3rd woe, is not included in the 70th week. It is a view that the 2nd half of the 70th week, the 70th week, that is, the 70-weeks, comes to an end around the time when the prophesying of the 2 witnesses ends and the 1st resurrection takes place. However, I think that the 70-weeks will be finished only when Satan fraudswarms are imprisoned in the abyss.[198] It is not believed that the 7th trumpet will be sounded and the 1st resurrection will take place only after the 70-weeks that within the time when sin must come to an end, are over. If it is claimed that the 70-weeks will be finished immediately after the 7th trumpet is sounded and the 1st resurrection takes place, it cannot be said that it is very unlikely, but since the 7 bowls, the 7 plagues are also included in the 7th trumpet, it seems unreasonable to set the time between the 1st resurrection and the 7 plagues which belong to the same 7th trumpet, as the end of the 70-weeks. I do not think that the 7 plagues will be poured out on the earth after the 70-weeks are over, nor do I think that the atonement for the creation world will be completed before the 7 plagues are poured out.[199] † After the 7th trumpet is sounded and the 1st resurrection takes place, the 7 plagues are poured out on the earth, the beast gathers the armies[200], and the LORD Jesus comes even to the earth to destroy the armies of the beast[201] and imprison Satan fraudswarms in the abyss.[202] I think these things that happen when the 7th trumpet is sounded, will happen for the 2nd half of the 70th week. I believe that the 2nd half of the 70th week, the 70-weeks, will be finished only when the LORD Jesus who caught the saints up into the air, pours out the 7 plagues on the earth, and comes down even to the earth to imprison Satan fraudswarms in the abyss. Only then sin will come to an end. In other words, the possibility to sin itself in the creation world, would disappear. (Though one deception remains after 1000 years through the release of Satan.[203]) Rev.12:13 When the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child. Rev.12:14 Two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, so that she might be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. † The 1260 days, when the dragon raises the beasts to persecute the true church, are the 1st half of the 70th week, the 1 time times and a half, and the 42 months. The bible counts 360 days in a year.[204] † 1260 days = half a week = 1/2 week = 1 time times and a half = 3 times and a half = 42 months = 3 years and 6 months Rev.12:15 The serpent spewed water out of his mouth after the woman like a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream. Rev.12:16 The earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon spewed out of his mouth. † The water of the dragon that is trying to kill the true church, is swallowed up by the earth, that is, the place that God has prepared for the nurture of the true church. The true church is nourished in the wilderness, the earth, that is, the prepared place for her, for 1260 days of the 1st half of the 70th week. This earth that swallowed the water spewed from the dragon's mouth to protect the true church, the prepared place, may not be the earth from which the beast comes up in Revelation 13. The beast that comes up from the earth in Revelation 13 is a false prophet.[205] It is not expected that the earth that produced the false prophet to persecute the true church for the 1st half of the 70th week[206], will protect the true church for the 1st half of the 70th week. Rev.12:17 The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep God's commandments and hold Jesus' testimony. † Satan who was thrown down to the earth, tried to kill the woman for 1260 days of the 1st half of the 70th week, but failed. Whether for the 1260 days or after the end of the 1260 days, Satan tries to fight against the remnant of the woman's seed. While the dragon persecutes the true church for 1260 days, for 42 months, that is, for the 1st half of the 70th week, the firstfruits of the true church fight against the dragon.[207] These firstfruits are the saints who have the firstfruits of the Spirit. Among them, there will be 144000 firstfruits who are redeemed from among men, who received God the Holy Spirit who comes even as the latter rain.[208] The 144000 symbolized by the 2 witnesses, will attack and smash the armies of the beast.[209] The 1260 days, the 1st half of the 70th week, are the period of the great tribulation that the saints must endure.[210] Just before pouring out of the 7 plagues of the great tribulation[211], the 7th trumpet is sounded and the 1st resurrection takes place.[212] After that, the 7 plagues are poured out on the earth[213], and the beast burns the Babylon prostitute[214], and the LORD Jesus comes down even to the earth with His army[215] to judge the armies of the beast.[216] The saints do not suffer the 7 plagues of the great tribulation. (There may be an opinion that the great tribulation will begin 'with' the 1st half of the 70th week, by interpreting 'half' in Dan 9:27 as 'for half'.[217] And there may be an opinion that the great tribulation will begin 'in' the 1st half of the 70th week, by interpreting 'half' in Dan 9:27 as 'in the middle'.) † There can be 2 views as to when the 1260 days the woman is nourished here and the time when the angry dragon goes to fight against those who keep God's commandments and hold Jesus' testimony. ① One is the view that both periods are the 1st half of the 70th week, and ② the other is that 1260 days for the woman to be nourished is the 1st half of the 70th week, and when the dragon goes to fight is the 2nd half of the 70th week. † ① The 1st view is that the time when the dragon goes to fight is regarded as the same 1st half of the 70th week because the persecution of the beast, the protection by the earth, and the counterattack of the 2 witnesses take place all at once for the 1st half of the 70th week. In other words, it is the view that sees the rest of her seed whom the dragon is about to fight against, as the 2 witnesses. † ② The 2nd view is that the dragon goes to fight against the rest of her seed at the end of the 2nd half of the 70th week, after the dragon failed to harm the woman for 1260 days. At the end of the 2nd half of the 70th week, the LORD Jesus who had only come to the air, comes down even to the earth to judge the armies of the beast. There may be resurrected or transformed martyr witnesses in the army that follows the LORD Jesus.[218] It is the view that the dragon went to fight against these martyr witnesses who were resurrected or transformed. In other words, it is the view that sees the rest of her seed whom the dragon is about to fight against, as the martyr witnesses who were resurrected or transformed. According to this view, the dragon who persecuted the woman for 1260 days of the 1st half of the 70th week and fought against the 2 witnesses in soulish flesh, must now fight against the martyr witnesses who have become like angels by being resurrected or transformed[219] and who are clothed with the spiritual body.[220] But Satan cannot defeat the army of the LORD Jesus.[221] Satan will be imprisoned in the abyss for 1000 years[222] and then thrown into the lake of fire.[223] |
[1] Rev.7:4 I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:
[2] Rev.14:3 They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth. These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
[3] Rev.11:3 I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.
[4] Rev.12:7 There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war. They didn't prevail, neither was a place found for him any more in heaven. The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Rev.12:12 Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time."
Rev.9:1 The fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from the sky fallen to the earth. The key to the pit of the abyss was given to him.
Rev.9:11 They have over them as king the angel of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is "Abaddon," but in Greek, he has the name "Apollyon." The first woe is past. Behold, there are still two woes coming after this. The sixth angel sounded. I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before God,
Rev.13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads, blasphemous names.
Rev.13:11 I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.
[5] Rev.9:1 The fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from the sky fallen to the earth. The key to the pit of the abyss was given to him.
[6] Rev.7:3 saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!"
[7] Rev.8:1 When he opened the seventh seal, there followed a silence in heaven for about half an hour. I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel's hand.
[8] Lev.16:12 He shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before Yahweh, and two handfuls of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil: and he shall put the incense on the fire before Yahweh, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the testimony, so that he will not die.
[9] Rom.3:1 Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision? Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the oracles of God.
[10] Gal.3:8 The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "In you all the nations will be blessed."
[11] John8:44 You are of your Father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn't stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations will be from you, and kings will come out of your loins. [31] Luke3:7 He said therefore to the multitudes who went out to be baptized by him, "You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and don't begin to say among yourselves, 'We have Abraham for our father;' for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones! Even now the ax also lies at the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that doesn't bring forth good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire."
[32] Gal.6:13 For even they who receive circumcision don't keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh. But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
[33] John2:13 The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. He found in the temple those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting. He made a whip of cords, and threw all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables. [37] Is.50:1 Thus says Yahweh, Where is the bill of your mother's divorce, with which I have put her away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities were you sold, and for your transgressions was your mother put away.
[38] Jer.3:8 I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorce, yet treacherous Judah, her sister, didn't fear; but she also went and played the prostitute.

[52] Matt.24:29 But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give her light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken; and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
