| Dan.7:2 Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the sky broke forth on the great sea. † The wind symbolizes an angel[1], the sea symbolizes the world[2], and the beast symbolizes a king or kingdom[3], the political power that has dominion over the world that opposes God. When the winds blow, the beasts appear. As the angel fulfills God's command in the world, new great powers appear one after another. Dan.7:3 Four great animals came up from the sea, diverse one from another. † In Dan 7, after 4 winds blow, the beasts come up. Dan.7:17 These great animals, which are four, are four kings, who shall arise out of the earth. † These 4 beasts are the 4 kings, the 4 political kingdoms that have rulership, or the princes who rule those kingdoms.[4] Dan.7:4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I saw until the wings of it were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand on two feet as a man; and a man's heart was given to it. † The 1st beast is Babylon. Babylon is also symbolized by the golden head[5] of the image of gold.[6] Dan.7:5 Behold, another animal, a second, like a bear; and it was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth: and they said thus to it, Arise, devour much flesh. † The 2nd beast is the Mede-Persian allied powers. Mede-Persia is also the silver chest and arms of the image.[7] Dan.7:6 After this I saw, and, behold, another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird; the animal had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. † The 3rd beast is Greece. Greece is also the bronze belly and thighs of the image.[8] Alexander's Greece was portrayed as the 4-headed leopard because it was soon split into 4 kingdoms by his 4 generals. Dan.7:7 After this I saw in the night-visions, and, behold, a fourth animal, awesome and powerful, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet: and it was diverse from all the animals that were before it; and it had ten horns. † The 4 beast is Rome. Rome is also the iron legs and iron-clay feet of the image.[9] Rome crushed its neighbors with its powerful military force.[10] Just as people have 2 legs, Rome was later divided into Eastern and Western Rome.[11] (Separation of East and West Rome in 395) Western Rome was destroyed by the invasion of Germanic people (the last emperor of Western Rome was deposed by Odoacer in 476) and again divided into 10 European countries like 10 toes.[12] [①Anglo-Saxon: Britain ②Franks-France ③Alemani-Germany ④Burgundy-Switzerland ⑤Lombard-Italy ⑥Suevi-Portugal ⑦Visigoths-Spain ⑧Heruli-493 Fall ⑨Vandal-534 Fall ⑩Ostrogoths-538 Fall] Just as the feet of the image are mixed with iron and clay, among the 10 divided nations, there are countries strong as iron and countries weak as mud. † There may be a question about this. 'Since there are 5 toes on each leg and 10 toes on 2 legs, shouldn't Eastern Rome be divided into 5 countries and Western Rome divided into 5 countries, so that the divided countries in the whole of Eastern and Western Rome should be 10 countries? Not only the Western Rome should be divided into 10 toes 10 countries?' Or, there may be an opinion that it is divided into more than 10 countries. † I don't think it matters much about where, how, and how much countries are divided. What is important is the appearance of the little horn. Whatever the fact that 3 out of 10 horns were pulled out along with the appearance of the little horn, means historically, it is not the point. What we need to see through this prophecy is that the power of Babylon papacy will rise from Rome to oppose God and slaughter the saints. Eastern Rome was also divided into several countries through the Byzantine Empire and the Ottoman Empire. † The power of the 10 horns may not necessarily be the dominion over only 10 countries. It can symbolize dominion over all countries. No matter how many countries will be used to rule the world, the Babylon papacy will rule the world again. Just as the Babylon papacy ruled the world at that time through ancient Rome which had the power of 10 horns, the Babylon papacy with the power of 10 horns will rise again and rule the world.[13] The world is where God's people are. Since the destiny of the creation world depends on the war between God's people and Satan, no matter how wide the earth is and how far the universe stretches out, the rest of the creation world is fulfilled only by the Son who will come through God's people. Therefore, unless it is the realm of God's people, it has nothing to do with preparing the way for the LORD Jesus to bring rest to the creation world. In the past, Rome was the world because most of God's people were within the realm of Rome. But now, the earth is the world because there are God's people all the way to China and the Americas. Dan.7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things. † The little horn is the Babylon papacy. As the Babylon papacy gained its power, the 3 kingdoms of ① Heruli, ② Vandal, and ③ Ostrogoths symbolized by the 3 horns, fell. The great words spoken by the Babylon papacy, the little horn, are that he is like God. The great words and blasphemies are used together.[14] Both are used when a creature claims that it itself is the same as the Creator[15], and when a creature claims that it has the authority to forgive sins.[16] † The deceived Jews considered the LORD Jesus blasphemous and tried to kill the LORD Jesus because the LORD Jesus made Himself equal with God[17] and said that He had the power to forgive sins[18], and said that He was the Lord of the Sabbath greater than the temple[19], and healed the sick on the Sabbath.[20] It seems that the deceived Jews regarded the LORD Jesus as the law-breaker.[21] † The pope prostitute claimed that he was equal with God the Creator, and that he had the authority to forgive sins, and tried to abolish God's commandments by changing times and laws[22], such as the Sabbath and the 10 commandments.[23] † Since the Son is God the Creator[24], it is natural to say that He is God and forgives sins. It is natural for the Son to say that He who is God, is greater than the temple of God. Since the Son is the rest of the creation world, it is natural for the Son to say that He Himself is the Lord of the Sabbath. But as a creature, claiming that he is God and able to forgive sins, and trying to change the commandments that God has established, is blasphemous, and the great words that he can but should never say as a creature. Dan.7:19 Then I desired to know the truth concerning the fourth animal, which was diverse from all of them, exceedingly terrible, whose teeth were of iron, and its nails of brass; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet; † The 4th beast, the 4th kingdom, is very different from the previous 3 kingdoms and is very terrible. Perhaps it is because the 4th kingdom will become a nation that persecutes God's people who have true faith. In historical Babylon[41], Persia[42], and Greece, of course, there was persecution, but there was hardly any massive persecution against the saints like in Rome. However, there was persecutions in Rome until Constantine stopped the persecution of Christians with the Edict of Milan in 313. And after the pope prostitute came to power, the persecution was intensified and many people of God were killed by the pope prostitute. Historical Babylon papacy was a type.[43] Like the previous pope of Rome, the pope prostitute who will rise in the 70th week, will also persecute God's people on a massive scale.[44] Dan.7:20 and concerning the ten horns that were on its head, and the other [horn] which came up, and before which three fell, even that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke great things, whose look was more stout than its fellows. † There is an opinion that the 3 horns fell as the destruction of the kingdoms of Heruli, Vandal, and Ostrogoths that were divided after the fall of the Western Rome. Vandal was a kingdom in where is now the Italian islands, Algeria, and Tunisia. Ostrogoths and Heruli were kingdoms in present day Italy. Whether the destruction of the 3 kingdoms means the fall of the 3 horns or not, the little horn takes its place where the 3 fallen kingdoms were. Regardless of whether the little horn takes its place where the 3 horns were, or the seated little horn pulls out the 3 horns later, the little horn will soon wield great power. Dan.7:21 I saw, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; † Just as the Babylon papacy persecuted and killed many of God's people, so the Babylon papacy in the 70th week will also kill many saints.[45] Dan.7:23 Thus he said, The fourth animal shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be diverse from all the kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. Dan.7:24 As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom shall ten kings arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put down three kings. † There will be 10 horns, 10 kings, and 1 other horn, 1 king. This 1 horn is different from the previous 10 horns because the first 10 horns are political kings, whereas this 1 horn is a religious king. Dan.7:25 He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High; and he shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and half a time. † This 1 horn, the little horn, the Babylon papacy, spoke blasphemous words and killed the saints of God. The Babylon papacy which will rise again in the 1st half of the 70th week, will also speak blasphemous words and kill the saints of God. Here, 1 time times and a half, 3 times and a half, or 3 years and 6 months, means half of the last remaining 1 week out of 70-weeks. The 69 weeks were finished in the year when the LORD Jesus was baptized and began His public life.[46] (It could be argued that the 69 weeks were finished when the LORD Jesus died on the cross.[47]) Now, only 1 week, 7 years, remains until God finishes the human history.[48] There will be tribulation and persecution for the saints in the 1st three and a half years of the 7 years[49], and in the 2nd three and a half years there will be 7 plagues, that is, the judgment of 7 golden bowl for the wicked.[50] (There may be an opinion that the great tribulation which began near the end of the 1st half of the 70th week, will be extended around the beginning of the 2nd half of the 70th week. Also, there may be an opinion that the entire 1st half of the 70th week is a period of the great tribulation. Anyway, the saints will not suffer the 7 plagues.[51]) In the 1st three and a half years, the saints will still be on the earth[52], but by the beginning of the 2nd three and a half years, the saints will be caught up into the air and escape the earth.[53] (Just before pouring out of the 7 plagues of the great tribulation, the saints will be resurrected or transformed. Therefore, the saints will only suffer the great tribulation just before the 7 plagues.[54]) † The Babylon papacy intended to change times and law.[55] (It could be argued that the Sabbath was changed by Constantine, not by the pope prostitute. In any case, now the papal 10 commandments have been changed to Sunday instead of the Sabbath by the authority of pope prostitute.) The pope prostitute changed the Sabbath, the 7th day out of 7 days[56], to Sunday, the 1st day out of 7 days, to worship the sun god, and removed the commandment against idolatry from among the 10 commandments. (One might view that the command that Constantine gave, was not a command to observe the day of worshiping the sun god, but merely a command to rest on the Sunday, that is, the day of the sun. In any case, the pope prostitute now carries on in many ways the ancient sun-worship tradition.) Then, should we still keep the Sabbath? It is in the 10 commandments, shouldn't the Sabbath be kept? Should we keep the Sabbath as the saints of the old testament times kept? Shouldn't we gather together on the sun-worship day to worship God? When is the Sabbath that we must keep? † The Son is the true rest of the creation world[57], and every moment with the Son is a time of rest to the creatures. Every day is a Sabbath in the Son and in God the Holy Spirit who came in the name of the Son. Because demons are cast out in the name of the Son, only when the Son is present can the people of God who were under Satan's oppression, find rest.[58] The sick people who kept the Sabbath still did not rest on the Sabbath[59], but when the Son came, true rest came to them.[60] Therefore, the true reality of the Sabbath which is commanded to keep in the 10 commandments, is not the 7th day among repeated days, but the Son Himself who proclaimed the 7th day as the Sabbath day, the day He will fulfill the complete rest. As a token of acknowledging that the Son Himself is the Sabbath, we keep the 7th day of our repeating days, as the Sabbath. † The Son will come again on the 7th day[61], imprison Satan in the abyss[62], and bring rest to the creation world. This is the 1000-year kingdom. Keeping the Sabbath which is repeated in our daily lives, is only a sign of believing and acknowledging this promise.[63] After God the Holy Spirit came upon the blood of the Son, every day became a Sabbath in God the Holy Spirit, so every day is a Sabbath from the oppression of sin and Satan.[64] The rest of the creation world has not yet been fulfilled. The Father and the Son are still working for the rest of the creatures[65], nurturing[66] the images of God[67], those who keep the commandments[68], the firstfruits that will confirm the judgment against Satan.[69] The Son is still interceding for the saints at the right hand of the Father.[70] Since God the Creator is still working and is not resting, it cannot be said that rest has been fulfilled yet. † The Sabbath has an important meaning, and it is the judgment against Satan. As long as the possibility to sin still remains in the creation world and the creation world is shaken by Satan's lies, rest cannot be fulfilled in the creation world. The Sabbath is a day to commemorate with faith that Satan's judgment will be finalized and the creation world will be completely freed from Satan's lies and come to rest. The Sabbath is a day to commemorate with faith that God will surely judge Satan and fulfill the rest on the 7th day. The Sabbath is a day to commemorate in faith that God will annihilate the remaining possibility to sin in the creation world on the 7th day. This rest will be fulfilled from the 1000-year kingdom when Satan is imprisoned in the abyss. And in the eyes of God who views 1000 years as 1 day[71], the 1000-year kingdom, the 7th millenium after the creation of Adam, is the 7th day. Therefore, the rest will only be fulfilled on this 7th day.[72] Creation will not be completed until this 7th day. After the rest of the 7th day, it does not return to the 1st day again, but is an eternal rest.[73] To commemorate the rest on the 7th day, the Jubilee year was given, the Sabbath year was given, and the Sabbath day was given. God gave the saints the Sabbath to enjoy the rest on each Sabbath, acknowledge and remember Satan's judgment, and wait for the Son who reigns with love. After the judgment against Satan, every day becomes a Sabbath. The same is true in the life of each saints. All days are Sabbaths for the saints who come out of the realm of sin and enter into the reign of God the Holy Spirit.[74] † Therefore, since every day is a Sabbath in God the Holy Spirit, days, months, and feasts have no meaning in God the Holy Spirit.[75] Nevertheless, the Sabbath is important because Satan will try to get rid of the Sabbath in the sense of denying God's judgment against Satan. In other words, it is because Satan will try to destroy the day that God has fixed in the creation world as the judgment day against Satan. Nebuchadnezzar heard from Daniel God's will that Babylon would be destroyed[76], but he denied it. He made an image of gold not only on the head but also on the feet. He made people bow to the golden image to satisfy his evil desires.[77] He wanted to be recognized by the people that Babylon would last forever. Likewise, Satan will also try to abolish the Sabbath, the day scheduled for the judgment day against Satan, in order to satisfy his evil desires. Satan will seek to abolish the reign by the commandments from the creation world.[78] † In reality, the true Sabbath cannot be eliminated from the creation world. Rest is sure to be fulfilled. There are always the day of judgment, the true Sabbath, when the judgment against Satan will be fulfilled, and the Son will surely remove sin and Satan from the creation world. However, as Satan claims that 'there will be no judgment of God on Satan', Satan will try to destroy the 'day of judgment against Satan' that God has fixed in the creation world. Just as Satan told us to keep Sunday which was the 'worshiping day of the sun god' instead of the Sabbath, Satan will change the 'day of judgment against Satan' from Saturday to Sunday or a day other than the Sabbath.[79] (Since some have argued that the actual Sabbath is not Saturday, now I am not implying that Saturday is a Sabbath or not a Sabbath. I am just saying that Saturday is the Sabbath because, for whatever reason, in general, people now view Saturday as the Sabbath.) † Satan, through the Babylon papacy, will force any other day other than the Sabbath observe as the Sabbath. By denying the original times and laws established by God and acknowledging and keeping the times and laws that Satan changed, Satan makes people receive the mark of worshiping Satan. Through the act of receiving the mark, people worship Satan.[80] In that case, God's people must keep the Sabbath, the 'day of judgment against Satan', in the sense of acknowledging that God will judge Satan. To be precise, the 'Satan's day' should not be observed as the Sabbath which Satan has set as the meaning of worshiping Satan. The Sabbath must be kept in the sense of acknowledging that there will always be the 'day of judgment' foreshadowed by the repeated Sabbath. † For those who are in God the Holy Spirit, every day is a holy day when they are cleansed by the blood of the Son and are freed from sin by the reign of God.[81] On all days other than the Sabbath, the saints must also walk with God in the same way as the Sabbath, and live a life that prepares the way for the LORD Jesus to judge Satan.[82] However, if Satan sets a specific day to worship Satan and makes keeping that day a mark of worshiping Satan, the saints must reject the day set by Satan in the sense that they worship only God.[83] The saints must keep the 7th day in the sense of worshiping only God, not because the 7th day is more holy than other days, but because the 7th day is the 'day of judgment against Satan' ordained as a foreshadowing of God's judgment against Satan.[84] The saints must not keep the day of worshiping Satan to prove that they do not worship Satan, not because the day of worshiping Satan designated by Satan, is more sinful than any other day, but because Satan will force that day to be a day to worship Satan. Can Satan who is just a creature being alive and exists only by the life of God the Creator[85], dare to make any day that God the Creator has made, as his own day?[86] † The saints must keep the 7th day in the sense of acknowledging God's will to judge Satan.[87] In other words, if Satan insists that there will never be a 7th day of God's judgment on Satan, and if Satan sets a specific day and compels people to keep the day in the sense of acknowledging that Satan's reign will be eternal, then keeping that day set by Satan is an act of denying the will of God who promised that He would judge Satan on the 7th day. Recognizing the day that Satan has set and worshiping Satan, becomes a 'mark' to stand on Satan's side and oppose God. Although every day is a Sabbath for the saints to judge Satan[88], when Satan compels them to observe a certain day in the sense of worshiping Satan, the saints must not keep the day set by Satan in the sense of standing on God's side and confirmimg the judgment against Satan.[89] However, the saints who can keep the Sabbath, that is, the saints who can reject the day set by Satan and be ready to die[90], are only those recorded in the book of life[91], and only those who rest every day through God the Holy Spirit[92] and have rest on all days.[93] Dan.7:11 I saw at that time because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke; I saw even until the animal was slain, and its body destroyed, and it was given to be burned with fire. Dan.7:12 As for the rest of the animals, their dominion was taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. † There are 2 beasts in the 70th week: the beast that comes up from the sea[94] and the beast that comes up from the earth.[95] The beast from the sea has all the characteristics of the beasts that have historically been symbolized by the nations that have taken God's people as captives. It has the 7 heads of a lion, a bear, a leopard, and a terrifying beast, plus the 10 horns of a terrifying beast. It means one country that has all the powers that the countries that dominated the world had. (Babylon lion[96] + Persia bear[97] + Greece leopard[98] + Rome terrifying beast[99]) Perhaps it symbolizes the superpower with the power to dominate the whole world.[100] And this beast is scarlet in color, full of blasphemous names, and a Babylon prostitute sitting on it.[101] Red seems to symbolize sin.[102] The scarlet beast thoroughly monitors and controls its people, and allows only those who have worshiped the image of the beast and received its mark, to trade.[103] The Babylon prostitute symbolizes the Babylon papacy. In other words, this scarlet beast that came up from the sea, symbolizes the superpower that has turned red after being seized by the Babylon papacy. Dan.7:13 I saw in the night-visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. Dan.7:14 There was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. † The reign of the Son is fulfilled in the new heaven and the new earth for 1000 years after Satan fraudswarms are imprisoned in the abyss. After 1000 years have passed and death and Hades are thrown into the lake of fire, the Son returns the creation world to His Father.[104] The reason the kingdom of the Son is expressed as eternal, seems to be because the Father becomes all of the creatures.[105] The meaning of death being thrown into the lake of fire[106] means that there will be no more sin.[107] If God leaves the creation world after the great white throne judgment, then there will be no sin in the creation world after the great white throne judgment.[108] Looking at the written words, there is a saying that Hades will be thrown into the lake of fire, but there is no saying that the heaven of angels will be thrown into the lake of fire. Seeing this, I think it seems that God will leave the creation world behind even after the great white throne judgment is over. In other words, it is unlikely that God will annihilate all of the creation world immediately after resurrection of the saints.[109] It is presumed that the creation world will be completed as a world where the resurrected saints who have become like angels[110] and the angels together in the true temple, offer the worship that should be given to God the Creator. Dan.7:18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever. † The saints who are counted worthy of the 1st resurrection, will reign under the Son who is the King in the 1000-year kingdom. Dan.7:22 until the ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High, and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. † When the Son comes, He will judge the Babylon papacy and the beasts that temporarily trampled the saints, and the saints will enter the reign of the Son in a new heaven and a new earth for 1000 years. Dan.7:26 But the judgment shall be set, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it to the end. † The Babylon papacy gains worldly authority for a while and kills the saints, but it will be burned and destroyed by the beasts it once seized.[111] Dan.7:27 The kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole the sky, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High: his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. † After the Son comes and imprisons Satan fraudswarms in the abyss, the saints who submit to the reign of the Son will reign under the Son in the kingdom of the Son. |

| Rev.13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads, blasphemous names. † This beast with 10 horns and 7 heads that John sees, is similar to the 10-horned beast Daniel saw[112], but more powerful. Rev.13:2 The beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. † As in Daniel's prophecy[113], here too, a beast comes out of the sea. Out of the sinful world, out of the waters below[114], a king emerges[115], and Satan gives it his throne and his power. However, this beast is not a separate beast like the ① lion, ② bear, ③ leopard, or ④ strong beast with 10 horns[116] that Daniel saw. This beast with 10 horns and 7 heads is the union (①+②+③+④) of all the previous beasts and is the most powerful beast. However, its foundation is the beast with ④ 10 horns. A superpower like the Roman Empire, but much more powerful than the Roman Empire. This superpower will probably rule the entire planet.[117] † There may be a view that views this sea as an abyss.[118] For this beast that came up out of the sea is also the beast that came up out of the abyss.[119] On the other hand, since the sea symbolizes the world[120], there may be an opinion that the beast that came up from the abyss will eventually dominate the sea world. Whether the world is the abyss, or the beast came up from the abyss takes control of the sea world, those under sin will eventually enter[121] the abyss.[122] Although the beast from the sea is also the beast from the abyss, I see the sea from which the beast came up and the abyss where the beast came up as separate realms, though in the same Hades.[123] Rev.13:3 One of his heads looked like it had been wounded fatally. His fatal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled at the beast. † The meaning that 1 of the 7 heads seemed to have been wounded fatally, means that the pope prostitute, symbolized by 1 of these heads, seemed to have fallen. (Some may view it as referring to an event that will take place around the beginning of the 70th week, not the past.) The Babylon papacy which brutally slaughtered numerous saints during the middle ages, had once lost its authority. However, it regains its former power. The Babylon papacy was a parasitic body that ruled Rome by parasitizing it. In this way, the Babylon papacy whose head has been restored, will also be parasitic in the superpower called the sea beast and will be a power body that dominates the superpower.[124] † John who was exiled to the isle of Patmos by the pagan Rome[125] that persecuted God's people, sees a beast rising from the sea. And he sees one of the beast's heads being wounded and then restored. John saw that the Babylon papacy would rise, and that the Babylon would lose its power and then be restored. John who was in the blank period after 69 of the appointed 70-weeks had already passed, sees the 70th week in which the beast whose head will be restored, will regain power and then be destroyed. † The beast = a superpower that took over the world[126] † The mother of the prostitutes riding the beast[127] = the abomination of desolation = the son of destruction[128] = the Babylon papacy in control of the superpower † The LORD Jesus who descended into the air, resurrects or transforms the saints, catch them up into the air[129], and then pours out the 7 plagues on the earth.[130] After the 7 plagues, the beasts burn the Babylon prostitute.[131] After that, the beasts resist the LORD Jesus to the end, and when the LORD Jesus comes even to the earth, it is thrown into the lake of fire.[132] The sea beast is a superpower that has seized political power[133], and the earth beast is a false prophet.[134] Rev.13:4 They worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" † The power of the sea beast is given by Satan.[135] Rev.13:5 A mouth speaking great things and blasphemy was given to him. Authority to make war for forty-two months was given to him. † The sea beast, the superpower that is seized by the Babylon papacy, opposes God with great and blasphemous words and kills the saints for 42 months. Great and blasphemous words here are saying that he himself is God[136], that he has the authority to forgive sins[137], and that he intends to change times and laws, the Sabbath and the 10 Commandments.[138] The Babylon papacy will kill the saints for the 1st half of the 70th week, that is, for 42 months[139], for 1260 days[140], that is, for 1 time times and a half[141] which is 3 years and 6 months.[142] Rev.13:6 He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, those who dwell in heaven. † To blaspheme means to oppose the name of God and persecute the saints.[143] Rev.17:7 The angel said to me, "Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. Rev.17:8 The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth will wonder, whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they see that the beast was, and is not, and will pe present. † The scarlet beast with 7 heads and 10 horns on which the Babylon prostitute is riding[144], is the sea beast, the beast that was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss. This beast is the 8th king, and is of the 7. He is a king who comes from among the 7 kings, but not the 7 kings. These 7 kings are the nations that historically took Israel as a captive. Judging from the time of John, 5 of these 7 kings have fallen, and 1 king has yet to arrive. Probably ① Egypt ② Assyria ③ Babylon ④ Persia ⑤ Greece ⑥ Pagan Rome ⑦Pope Rome. (There may be an opinion that it means ① Egypt ② Assyria ③ Babylon ④ Persia ⑤ Greece ⑥ Rome ⑦ superpower.) The 5 kings from Egypt to Greece fell and there is Rome, the 6th king, but it is not yet under the control of the pope prostitute, and in John's eyes, the 7th king, Pope Rome, would soon rise. (Or, as the 70th week approaches, the superpower would be taken over by a pope prostitute.) The beast that will come up from the sea in the 70th week, is the 8th king and is of these 7 kings[145], so it is probably the king who succeeds the 7th king, Pope Rome. It may be the superpower that was seized by the strengthened Babylon papacy. (Some view the 7th king as the 'superpower' and the 8th king as the 'superpower seized by the prostitute'.) Whatever the 7th king means, the 8th king refers to the superpower seized by the prostitute. (The 8th king = prostitute + scarlet beast = world beast government) This 8th king will oppress the nations of the world in the 70th week.[146] † This 8th king who was and is not now[147], is the scarlet beast seized by the prostitute.[148] The reason why John described the 8th king as a beast that existed before, but is not now, but will come out, is because this beast which will come out in the 70th week, is actually a beast that existed in the past. This beast is Babylon that took over the world[149] and built a tower against God.[150] Babylon founded by Nimrod was followed by Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar. In the end it will lead to Babylon the great of the mother of the prostitutes. This mother of the prostitute riding on the scarlet beast, is the Babylon papacy.[151] The mother of the prostitutes of the Babylon the great, the Babylon papacy, will sit on the superpower scarlet beast and control the scarlet beast to exercise its authority.[152] † The reason 'king' is viewed as 'nation' is because the king means 'political power', not 'individual'.[153] The '4 kings' in Dan 7 were 'Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome', not the 4 kings. Therefore, the 7 kings in Rev 17 may also be 7 kingdoms, not 7 kings. However, there may be a view that the kings who rule each country are angels, and in that way, the 4 kings can mean 4 angels.[154] It is the view that angels rule the kingdom behind people.[155] The reason that political powers such as Nimrod's Babylon[156] and the Qin kingdom in East Asia, are not included in the 7 kings, is because they are countries that are not related to Israel. In ancient times, God's will was centered on physical Israel[157], so I believe that a nation not related to physical Israel has no prophetic meaning.[158] Rev.11:6 These have the power to shut up the sky, that it may not rain during the days of their prophecy. They have power over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire. Rev.11:7 When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them. Rev.11:8 Their dead bodies will be in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. Rev.11:9 From among the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations people will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not allow their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. Rev.11:10 Those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and they will be glad. They will give gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. † The beast kills the 2 witnesses who have prophesied the eternal gospel for the 1st half of the 70th week.[159] Rev.17:9 Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits. Rev.17:10 They are seven kings. Five have fallen, the one is, the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a little while. † The 7 heads of the sea beast are the 7 kings. These 7 kings are thought to mean ① Egypt ② Assyria ③ Babylon ④ Persia ⑤ Greece ⑥ Pagan Rome and ⑦ Pope Rome which in turn harassed Israel. (There may be an opinion that it means ① Egypt ② Assyria ③ Babylon ④ Persia ⑤ Greece ⑥ Rome ⑦ Superpower.) At the time John wrote the Book of Revelation, the first 5 countries had already been destroyed, and Pagan Rome was still alive and well, and the Pope Rome had not yet arrived. (Or, the superpower to be established near the 70th week had not yet arrived.) After the establishment of Pope Rome, the pope prostitute continued to persecute God's people during the Middle Ages. † There may be views of the 6th king as Rome and the 7th king as the superpower that will serve as the basis for the world beast government that will stand in the 70th week. The 8th king is the mother of the prostitutes riding the scarlet beast, the strengthened Babylon papacy that seized the superpower.[160] Whether the 8th king is symbolized as the political power that succeeds Pope Rome or the prostitute who seized the superpower, the reality is the world beast government that oppresses all the nations of the earth. (8th king = prostitute + scarlet beast = world beast government[161]) The world government had not yet arrived in John's eyes, but when it did, it was a king who would surely continue for a short time for the 70th week. The 8th king who is of the 7 kings, the king who was and is not in the eyes of John, is Babylon[162], and it leads to the prostitute Babylon papacy.[163] The Babylon papacy is a king with no power in itself, except that it comes out of the kings and seizes the kings and exerts its authority through the kings. The strengthened Babylon papacy which seizes the superpower and establishes a world beast government, is the 8th king, but he belongs to the 7 kings and will reign as the 8th king with a power that is not his own. But the beast giving a ride the prostitute will eventually attack the prostitute. The Babylon papacy will eventually be burned by the scarlet beast and the 10 horn kings after the 7 plagues.[164] † Although Rome was divided into many countries, Rome has not yet disappeared. Rome is a nation that will last until just before the establishment of the kingdom of the LORD Jesus.[165] In the 70th week, not only Europe which was once Roman territory, but also all countries of the world, including Europe, will be ruled by Rome, the scarlet beast.[166] The 10 horns will be governed by the head.[167] Just as iron and clay do not mix with each other, the country itself will not be united.[168] Rev.17:11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goes to destruction. † The beast that was and is not now is the 8th king, and he belongs to the 7 kings, so he will come out of the 7 kings. The Babylon papacy came out of Rome and took control of Rome. Babylon the great, the prostitute in the 70th week, will also come out of the superpower and take over the superpower, and then go into destruction. Rev.17:12 The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings, with the beast, for one hour. Rev.13:11 I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon. Rev.13:12 He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. He makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. Rev.13:13 He performs great signs, even making fire come down out of the sky on the earth in the sight of men. Rev.13:14 He deceives my own people who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given to him to do in front of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who had the sword wound and lived. Rev.13:15 It was given to him to give breath to it, to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as wouldn't worship the image of the beast to be killed. Rev.13:16 He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, so that they should give them marks on their right hand, or on their forehead; † The dragon, Satan, gives power to the beast that comes up from the sea[169], and the beast that comes up from the earth uses the power of the sea beast to make people worship the sea beast by performing great signs.[170] The LORD Jesus comes again and throws the beast of the sea and the beast of the earth into the lake of fire, and the true nature of the earth beast is revealed.[171] The earth beast was a false prophet who gave people the mark of the sea beast and miraculously deceived people to worship the image of the sea beast. † The beast that comes up from the earth has 2 horns like a lamb. In other words, he will look like the LORD Jesus. He does not force people to worship him. He forces people to worship the sea beast. This false prophet the earth beast speaks Satan's words even though he looks like a lamb. Although this false prophet speaks Satan's words, many people will be deceived by his outward appearance and the miracles he performs. He will do what the 450 prophets of Baal and the 400 of Asherah could not do.[172] He will make fire come down from heaven[173] as did Elijah.[174] But those who are written in the Lamb's book of life[175], those who know the true word of God, will not be deceived. The saints, the images of God[176], will subdue and rule over this beast.[177] † Even in the 70th week, there will be the terrifying beast, the scarlet beast carrying the prostitute. This sea beast would be the superpower ruled by the Babylon papacy, the prostitute.[178] This Babylon papacy which rules the superpower, will rule the whole world, unlike the Babylon papacy which historically ruled only Europe. The beast that came up from the earth, the false prophet, will deceive many people to receive the mark of the beast by performing great signs, and make people worship the prostitute Babylon papacy who has taken control of the beast. However, after the 7 plagues, the scarlet sea beast will destroy the Babylon papacy[179], the prostitute, and fight against the LORD Jesus, and will be thrown into the lake of fire along with the false prophet, the beast of the earth.[180] The rest of the Satan fraudswarms will be imprisoned in the abyss.[181] Through the beasts from the sea and the earth being thrown into the lake of fire, the melting of the 1st heaven and the 1st earth, the world that the sea beast had taken over, is represented.[182] (Some view that the angel who ruled the beast of the sea and the angel who ruled the beast of the earth[183] were thrown into the lake of fire.[184]) † There is a distinction between the beast of the sea, the beast of the earth, and the Babylon prostitute. The prostitute riding the scarlet beast is represented as the sea beast[185], but the scarlet beast is not the prostitute.[186] The prostitute uses the power of the scarlet beast to persecute the saints[187], but the prostitute is not the scarlet beast. The beast of the sea and the beast of the earth resist God together to the end[188] even after the prostitute is burned.[189] The prostitute is neither the scarlet beast nor the earth beast. The scarlet beast is the superpower that rules over the nations of the world[190], the prostitute is the strengthened Babylon papacy[191] that persecutes the saints by seizing the superpower for the 1st half of the 70th week[192], and the earth beast is the false prophet who deceives people by performing great signs to obey the superpower.[193] For the 1st half of the 70th week, the sea beast refers to the pope prostitute who takes control of the superpower, but after the superpower burns the pope prostitute after the 7 plagues are over, the sea beast refers only to the superpower. The scarlet beast, the superpower, and the strengthened Babylon papacy that takes control of the superpower, and the earth beast, the false prophet, refer to different things. The Babylon prostitute is also represented as the abomination of the desolation or the son of destruction.[194] Rev.13:17 and that no one would be able to buy or to sell, unless he has that mark, the name of the beast or the number of his name. Rev.13:18 Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is six hundred sixty-six. |
| The beasts of Dan 7 which came up after the 4 winds blew[195], foreshadowed historical great powers. Likewise, the last beasts will come up after the 4 winds blow.[196] 4 angels are holding the 4 winds. The 4 angels are those who have been given authority to harm the earth and the sea. After the 4 angels are released, 4 winds blow and the earth and the sea are harmed. The meaning of the harm being done to the earth and the sea, means that from the earth and the sea, the beasts that harm the earth and the sea[197], will come up. The 4 angels are bound at the great river Euphrates, and the 6th angel with a trumpet is commanded and release them. The 4 angels raise 200000000 horsemen and kill people1/3 in that hour and day and month and year. I don't know whether it means that 200000000 horsemen kill people1/3 at once at a specific time in a specific month, or that they kill people1/3 steadily over a certain period of time. In any case, the last beasts will come up with the death of people1/3, after the 4 angels are released from their binding at Euphrates. (Before that, people on earth1/4 are already dead.[198] The death of people on the earth1/4, may not mean the death of people1/4. But assuming that people1/4 die, it means that the prostitute beast will take over the world, taking advantage of the chaos of the death of people1/2, the half of the world's population. And after earth1/4 of the people die, plants and rivers, that is, 1/3 of crops and drinking water sources[199], are destroyed. So the prostitute beast may take over the world after more than people1/2 die.) After the 6th trumpet is sounded, a command is issued from the 4 horns of the golden altar of incense[200], and the 4 angels of Euphrates are released by the angel of the 6th trumpet. After the 4 angels of Euphrates are released, 4 winds blow and the beasts come up. But before that, a mighty angel stand on the sea and the earth to temporarily stop the beast from appearing[201], and gives witnesses a little book.[202] When the 4 winds blow, 200000000 horsemen rise and kill people1/3[203], and the earth and the sea are harmed[204], and beasts come up from the earth and the sea[205] to slaughter the people of God.[206] The eternal gospel is prophesied by the 2 witnesses who ate the little book for these 1260 days, 42 months, 1 time times and a half, 3 years and 6 months.[207] These 2 witnesses are not actually 2 people, but I think there will be a large number of (especially 144000[208]) witnesses who will do the same ministry as Moses and Elijah.[209] Since all of these things happen after the 6th trumpet is sounded and people1/3 die, it is thought to be correct to say that the direct appearance of the last beasts occurs after the death of people1/3. It is only after people1/3 die, the 1260 days, the 1st half of the 70th week, that is, the 70th week, begins. |
| The state of the beast before the pouring out of the 7 plagues and after the pouring out of the 7 plagues, is different even if it is the same beast. The beast seized by the Babylon prostitute burns the Babylon prostitute after the 7 plagues. When the beast was taken over by the Babylon prostitute, the beast forced worship, and the earth was livable enough to persecute the saints. However, after the 7 plagues, there are no more saints left on the earth, and the earth is almost destroyed. If anyone stays on the earth, no matter what anyone does, he/she will soon die anyway. Even so, the LORD Jesus Himself will come and kill the wicked and burn the earth.[215] |
| When is the mark of the beast enforced? |

And he forcibly makes people worship the image and tries to kill all who do not worship the image. Those who worship this image receive the mark of the beast. The number of the beast, that is, the number of a man, his number is 666. † This is the period when all the food has already been taken over by the beast. And the beast will sell food only to those who have worshiped the beast and received the mark of the beast. This means that it is impossible to buy food and services without the mark. Because the beast has taken over the world, he will force everyone to worship the beast. For a living, many people will worship the beast and receive a mark which will be used to buy food.[216] |
| Rev.13:5 A mouth speaking great things and blasphemy was given to him. Authority to make war for forty-two months was given to him. Rev.13:6 He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, those who dwell in heaven. Rev.13:7 It was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him. Rev.13:8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed. † The beast reigns for 42 months, that is, for the 1st half of the 70th week. For 42 months, the beast receives power over every tribe and people and language and nation, that is, over the world. The beast forces all people around the world to worship the beast for 42 months, marks those who worship it, and kills the saints who do not worship it. This means that the mark of the beast on the worshipers will only be enforced for a period of 42 months. If we include the period of the great tribulation, it could be a little longer. Still, there will be no difference in the fact that the worship of the beast will be compulsory from the 1st half of the 70th week. |
| The beast appears only at the beginning of the 70th week[217], and only when the beast appears, the beast compels worship of the beast[218], and only those who worship the beast receive the mark of the beast.[219] Before the 70th week begins, because the sea beast has not yet completely seized the world dominion[220], there is no earth beast that forces people worship the sea beast.[221] Therefore, there is no compulsion to make people worship the sea beast at this time, and no worshipers to receive the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast is given by the beast[222], and is given only to those who worship the beast.[223] If there is no beast to give the mark, who will give the mark, and how can people worship the beast when there is no beast to be worshiped? The sea beast is the Babylon prostitute riding on the scarlet beast[224], the son of destruction who has seized the superpower[225], and the earth beast is a false prophet who sets up an image for the son of destruction and compels people to worship.[226] The period in which the false prophet compels people worship the son of destruction, is 42 months, the 1st half of the 70th week.[227] In other words, it means that the time when worshipers of the beast can receive the mark of the beast, is only about 42 months of the 1st half of the 70th week.[228] For these 42 months, the false prophet forces people worship the son of destruction[229], kills the saints who do not worship, and gives a mark to the wicked who worship the beast, giving only those who have this mark the right to buy necessities. Before that, there was no worship of the beast itself.[230] And after 42 months, the LORD Jesus comes into the air and catches all the martyr witnesses who refused the mark of the beast up into the air[231], so there are only the wicked who have already worshiped the beast and received the mark of the beast on the earth after the 42 months.[232] For the 42 months, for the 1260 days, in which the false prophet gives mark of the beast to those who worship the son of destruction, the 144000 firstfruits, symbolized by the 2 witnesses, cry repentance and proclaim a warning not to worship the son of destruction.[233] In order for the 70th week to begin, not only the beasts but also the 144000 firstfruits must be raised.[234] The 70th week does not begin when only beasts appear. The firstfruits must also be prepared to fight against the beasts.[235] The false prophet forces worship and kills the saints who do not worship the son of destruction, but the firstfruits warn of worship and smash the beast forces that kill the saints.[236] For the 1st half of the 70th week, there are beasts that kill those who refuse to worship, there are idolaters who worship the beast because they are afraid of death, and there are martyr witnesses who are killed by the beast for refusing to worship the beast until the end, and there are living martyr witnesses who are nourished in the prepared place from the beasts[237], and there are the firstfruits, the 2 witnesses, who prophesy[238] the eternal gospel[239] and smash the beast forces. Before the sea beast takes over the world, the people of earth1/4 are killed[240] by wars, famines, plagues, and beasts of the earth, that is, oppressions of governments.[241] (another view, deceptions[242] of false prophets[243]) After that, 1/3 of agricultural products, seafood, drinking water, agricultural water, and sunlight are reduced, a serious food crisis occurs.[244] And many crimes that take away love from people's hearts, take place.[245] From this point on, the tribulation intensifies.[246] Those who did not receive God's seal, will suffer from scorpion torment for 5 months to the extent that they cannot die even if they seek death.[247] After that, the 4 angels of Euphrates are released.[248] The 4 angels kill people1/3 who are still alive, with 200000000 horsemen[249], and only then do the beasts come up from the sea and the earth, and the 70th week begins.[250] The beast kills more than half of the world's population under God's permission[251] in order to gain power over the whole world.[252] The survivors believe that a powerful person can protect them from global disasters and crimes[253], and follow the beast[254] that caused such disasters and crimes under God's permission.[255] From this point on, worship of the beast is enforced for 42 months[256], and the mark of the beast is applied to the beast worshipers.[257] Satan has been raising beasts to exterminate God's people, and has gradually seized world power[258] under God's permission.[259] God has also trained His people in the truth, leading them with love and grace.[260] The beasts that compel worship of the beast and the mark of the beast[261], and the images of God that received the seal of God to fight against the beast, are finally prepared.[262] Therefore, the 70th week begins.[263] |

Rev.9:14 saying to the sixth angel who had one trumpet, "Free the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!" The four angels were freed who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year, so that they would kill one third of mankind. The number of the armies of the horsemen was ten thousands of ten thousands. I heard the number of them.

[15] Matt.26:63 But Jesus held his peace. The high priest answered him, "I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God." Jesus said to him, "You have said it. Nevertheless, I tell you, henceforth you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of the sky." Doesn't each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and lead him away to water? Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?"
[61] 2Pet.3:8 But don't forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
[62] Rev.20:1 I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. They gnawed their tongues because of the pain, and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores. They didn't repent of their works.

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or tell him, What do you?
[253] 1Kin.22:19 [Micaiah] said, Therefore hear you the word of Yahweh: I saw Yahweh sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. Yahweh said, Who shall entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? One said on this manner; and another said on that manner. There came forth a spirit, and stood before Yahweh, and said, I will entice him. Yahweh said to him, 'How?' He said, 'I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' He said, 'You shall entice him, and shall prevail also: go forth, and do so.' Now therefore, behold, Yahweh has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; and Yahweh has spoken evil concerning you.
2Thess.2:9 even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn't receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie; that they all might be judged who didn't believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
[254] Rev.9:1 The fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from the sky fallen to the earth. The key to the pit of the abyss was given to him. He opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke from a burning furnace. The sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke from the pit. Then out of the smoke came forth locusts on the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men who don't have God's seal on their foreheads. They were given power not to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion, when it strikes a man.
[255] Job1:12 Yahweh said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don't put forth your hand." So Satan went forth from the presence of Yahweh. It fell on a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house, that there came a messenger to Job, and said, "The oxen were plowing, and the donkeys feeding beside them, and the Sabeans attacked, and took them away. Yes, they have killed the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you." While he was still speaking, there also came another, and said, "The fire of God has fallen from the sky, and has burned up the sheep and the servants, and consumed them, and I alone have escaped to tell you." While he was still speaking, there came also another, and said, "The Chaldeans made three bands, and swept down on the camels, and have taken them away, yes, and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you." While he was still speaking, there came also another, and said, "Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house, and, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young men, and they are dead. I alone have escaped to tell you."
[256] Rev.13:5 A mouth speaking great things and blasphemy was given to him. Authority to make war for forty-two months was given to him. He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, those who dwell in heaven. It was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed.
Dan.12:6 One said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
[257] Rev.13:15 It was given to him to give breath to it, to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as wouldn't worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, so that they should give them marks on their right hand, or on their forehead; and that no one would be able to buy or to sell, unless he has that mark, the name of the beast or the number of his name.
[258] Rev.8:7 The first sounded, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown on the earth. One third of the earth was burnt up, and one third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. The second angel sounded, and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea. One third of the sea became blood, and one third of the creatures which were in the sea died, those who had life. One third of the ships were destroyed. The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of the waters. The name of the star is called "Wormwood." One third of the waters became wormwood. Many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter. The fourth angel sounded, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars; so that one third of them would be darkened, and the day wouldn't shine for one third of it, and the night in the same way. I saw, and I heard an eagle, flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe! Woe! Woe for those who dwell on the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound!"
[259] Job1:8 Yahweh said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant, Job? For there is none like him in the earth, a blameless and an upright man, one who fears God, and turns away from evil." Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing? Haven't you made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will renounce you to your face." Yahweh said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don't put forth your hand." So Satan went forth from the presence of Yahweh.
[260] Rev.12:7 There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war. They didn't prevail, neither was a place found for him any more in heaven. The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now is come the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night. They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death.

[262] Gen.1:26 God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
Rev.11:2 Leave out the court which is outside of the temple, and don't measure it, for it has been given to the gentiles. They will tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months. I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.
