24 Do the 4 angels holding the 4 winds and the 4 angels bound by the great river Euphrates refer to

by aparke 2023. 12. 24.
Do the 4 angels holding the 4 winds and the 4 angels bound at the great river Euphrates refer to the same angels?
= Is the 4 winds of Revelation 7 the wind that raises beasts from the sea and the earth(view1), or is it just the wind that devastates the earth1/3(view2)?
Premise: Whether the 4 angels use the 4 winds to harm the earth and the sea, or the 4 angels are blocking the 4 winds that try to harm the earth and the sea, in any case, when the 4 winds blow, the earth and the sea suffer harm.
View1: They are the same angels. View2: They are different angels.
The event that the beasts come up from the sea after the blowing of the 4 winds in Daniel 7, and the event that the 4 angels bound at Euphrates are released after the sounding of the 6th trumpet causing the beasts come up from the sea and the earth in Revelation 9, are the same kind of events.
The 4 angels in Revelation 7 are the 4 angels bound at Euphrates in Revelation 9.
The event that the beasts come up from the sea after the 4 winds blow in Daniel 7, and the event that after the 6th trumpet is sounded, and the 4 angels bound at Euphrates are released in Revelation 9, and the beasts come up from the sea and the earth, are completely different events.
The 4 angels in Revelation 7 have nothing to do with the 4 angels bound at Euphrates in Revelation 9.
Rev.7:1 After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.
Rev.7:2 I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,
Rev.7:3 saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!"
These 4 angels hold the 4 winds of the earth. When the 4 winds blow against the earth, or the sea, or the trees, then the earth, or the sea, or the trees are harmed. The 4 winds are the power to inflict harm, and the 4 angels are given the power to hold or release these winds.
Rev.9:14 saying to the sixth angel who had one trumpet, "Free the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!"
Rev.9:15 The four angels were freed who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year, so that they would kill one third of mankind.
Rev.9:16 The number of the armies of the horsemen was ten thousands of ten thousands. I heard the number of them.
Here the 4 angels are bound by the Euphrates. When these 4 angels are released, people1/3 will be killed by the killer horsemen.
The 4 angels who hold the 4 winds harm the earth and the sea. The 4 angels bound in the Euphrates also kill people1/3 and raise beasts from the sea and the earth to harm the sea and the earth. Therefore, the 4 angels holding the 4 winds and the 4 angels bound at Euphrates will be the same angels.
The 2nd woe includes the death of people1/3 and beasts coming up from the sea and the earth to slaughter the saints.[1] The death of people1/3 and the coming up of the beasts are not entirely different events.
When the 4 winds that harm the earth and the sea are blown, beasts come up from the earth and the sea. And when the 4 angels of Euphrates are released, beasts come up from the sea and the earth after people1/3 die. They are the same events and the same angels.
The 4 angels holding the 4 winds are not bound. But the angels who kill people1/3 are bound. Therefore, the 4 angels holding the 4 winds and the 4 angels who kill people1/3 would mean different angels.
The death of people1/3 and the harm of the earth and the sea are two different kinds of events. The 4 angels who were commanded not to harm the earth, the sea, or the trees until the sealing is completed, begin to harm the earth, the trees, and the sea after the Lamb breaks the 7th seal. But the 4 angels who kill people1/3 are bound until the 6th trumpet is sounded.
The earth, the sea, and the trees harmed by the 4 angels holding the 4 winds are the actual earth, sea, and trees. However, the sea and the earth from which the beasts rise up after the 4 angels of Euphrates kill people1/3, are not the actual sea and earth.
Therefore, the 4 angels of Revelation 7 and the 4 angels of Revelation 9 are not the same angels.
Dan.7:2 Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the sky broke forth on the great sea.
Dan.7:3 Four great animals came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
The 4 winds of the sky blow on the sea, and 4 beasts come out of the sea. The angel released the 4 winds and raised the 4 beasts. In this way, the 4 angels who stand at the 4 corners of the earth and hold the 4 winds, release the 4 winds and raise up beasts from the sea and the earth to harm the earth and the sea. The 4 winds of the sky must also have been held by the angels.
The 4 angels holding the 4 winds of Dan 7, the 4 angels holding the 4 winds of Revelation 7, and the 4 angels bound at Euphrates of Revelation 9 are the same angels. When the winds are released, the beasts come up, and the tribulation begins with the beasts. The sea and the earth will be harmed.
When the 4 winds of the sky blow, the beasts rise. When the 4 winds blow, the earth and the sea are harmed. When the 4 angels bound at Euphrates are released, people1/3 die.
The 4 winds in Daniel 7 and the 4 angels in Revelation 9 raise beasts from the sea. However, the 4 angels in Revelation 7 do not raise beasts from the sea and the earth, but harm the actual earth and sea. Even while the 4 angels of Euphrates are bound, the 4 angels of Revelation 7 devastate the earth, the trees, and the sea. It means that these angels are not the 4 angels of Euphrates.

Revelation 9 (6th trumpet)
4 winds of heaven in Dan 7
While the winds are held, the 144000 firstfruits are sealed[2], and after a moment of silence, the tribulation of the trumpets begins.[3]
The sealed saints reject the mark of the beast[4] and prophesy[5] the eternal gospel.[6]
The unsealed people1/3 die because of the 200000000 horsemen who harm them with their heads and tails.[7]
A mighty angel comes down and stand on the sea and the earth to prevent the beasts from appearing[8] and gives John a little book.[9] The eternal gospel is proclaimed by those who ate the little book.[10]
The 4 beasts that attack the saints, the 4 kings[11], come up, and the Son comes again to judge the beasts.[12]
Rev.10:1 I saw a mighty angel coming down out of the sky, clothed with a cloud. A rainbow was on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
Rev.10:2 He had in his hand a little book open. He set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land.
Rev.10:3 He cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.
The mighty angel stands on the sea and on the earth to prevent the appearance of the beasts that come up from Revelation 13. And he gives a little book, and those who eat the little book prophesy again, preparing the way for the LORD Jesus.[13] Perhaps these are the sealed ones recorded in Revelation 7[14], and those who acknowledge that God is true and receive the testimony of the Son.[15] These are the 144000 firstfruits who will reject the mark of the beast in the same way as the saints who received the firstfruits of the Spirit, but unlike the saints who received the firstfruits of the Spirit[16], they will perform particularly aggressive ministry for 1260 days.[17] Through these 144000, those who will reject the mark of the beast will come out. If no one would hear the eternal gospel they prophesy, the LORD Jesus would not have wanted them to prophesy the eternal gospel in the first place.
Rev.13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads, blasphemous names.
Rev.13:2 The beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
Rev.13:11 I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.
In Dan 7, a lion (Babylon) - a bear (Mede Persia) - a leopard (Greece) - a dreadful beast (Rome) comes up one after another to occupy God's people Israel. In Revelation 13, these 4 beasts are merged into one. It indicates that its power will be great. This beast will persecute and kill the saints with great power.[18]
Conclusion

In Revelation 13, a powerful beast similar to the 4 beasts combined[19] and another beast[20] come up. Before that, the sounding of the 7th trumpet recorded in Revelation 11[21] signifies the resurrection and the transformation of the saints[22], and this catching up[23] occurs after the beasts come up and persecute the saints.[24] Therefore, around Revelation 9, when the 6th trumpet is sounded and the 4 angels bound at Euphrates are released[25], the beasts will also come up and start attacking the saints.[26] Before the beasts attack the saints, the scene of the saints eating a little book to proclaim the eternal gospel is recorded in Revelation 10. At least before Revelation 9, when the 5th trumpet is sounded and harm only those who were not sealed[27], the sealing would have been finished and the saints would have been prepared to overcome the mark of the beast and proclaim the eternal gospel.[28]
The event in Revelation 10 where a mighty angel treads on the sea and the earth to prevent the beasts from coming up and gives the little book, is a record of the event just before the beasts come up, that is, just before Revelation 13. The 1260 days prophesying ministry of the 2 witnesses recorded in the 1st part of Revelation 11, will happen simultaneously with the 42 months of the beast reign in Revelation 13. The sounding of the 7th trumpet recorded at the end of Revelation 11 is recorded before Revelation 13, but it will take place after the 42 months of slaughter of the saints in Revelation 13 is over. Revelation 13, when the beasts come up from the sea and the earth, is just a detailed explanation of the 42 months of the 1st part of Revelation 11.
In Dan 7, after the 4 winds of heaven blew, the 4 beasts, the 4 kings, come up.[29] Likewise in Revelation 13, after the 4 winds blew[30], the 1 king who has all the powers of the 4 kings comes up from the sea.[31] After the 4 angels of Euphrates have been released, the beast comes up from the sea. Therefore, the 4 angels bound at Euphrates may mean the same angels as the 4 angels who hold the 4 winds until the sealing of the saints is finished, or at least the 4 winds that the 4 angels hold. Therefore, the word about the 4 angels holding the 4 winds is directly connected to the word about the 4 angels bound at Euphrates.
Maybe I was wrong. The 4 winds of Revelation 7 and the 4 angels bound at Euphrates may be different angels. The 4 winds of Revelation 7 can mean angels that harm the actual earth, trees, and sea of the earth, and the 4 angels of Revelation 9 can mean angels that kill people1/3 and raise beast from the sea and the earth. Even so, 1/3 of the actual earth, trees and sea of the earth will be harmed, people1/3 will die, and the beasts will rise from the sea and the earth. Whether these are the same angels or different angels, there will be no difference in the events that occur. Events will occur in the order in which they were recorded.
However, if the 4 winds of Revelation 7 and the 4 angels of Revelation 9 are different angels, the view on when the sealing will be finished might be different because the earth, the sea, or the trees will not be harmed until the sealing is finished. In other words, depending on whether the earth and the sea to be harmed refer to the actual earth and sea of the earth or the earth and the sea from which the beasts rise up, views on when the sealing will be finished can vary.
Until the sealing is finished, the 4 winds of Revelation 7 cannot be blown. If the 4 winds of Revelation 7 and the 4 angels of Revelation 9 refer to different angels, the earth, the sea, and the trees that are not harmed until the sealing is finished must mean the actual earth, sea, and trees on the earth. Then, the word that 1/3 of the earth, the trees and the sea are harmed after the Lamb breaks the 7th seal, means that the sealing was finished before the Lamb breaks the 7th seal. If the 4 winds of Revelation 7 and the 4 angels of Revelation 9 refer to the same angels, then the earth and the sea that are not harmed until the sealing is finished must mean the sea and the earth from which the beasts rise. Then the sealing of the 144000 could have finished before the Lamb breaks the 7th seal, but it also could not have finished until the 5th trumpet is sounded. Here, we will assume that the 4 winds of Revelation 7 and the 4 angels of Revelation 9 refer to the same angels.
The seal is sealed while the 4 winds are held, while the 4 angels of Euphrates are bound.[32] After the seal is sealed, the 4 angels bound at Euphrates are released, and only after the 4 angels of Euphrates are released, the beasts rise.[33] The sealing itself would have been finished before the sounding of the 6th trumpet that the 4 angels of Euphrates are released. Because when the 5th trumpet is sounded, only the unsealed people are harmed.[34] The 4 angels who held the 4 winds until they were sealed, are the 4 angels bound at Euphrates. (Or, the 4 winds that were held are the 4 angels of Euphrates.) Therefore, the meaning that the 4 angels release the 4 winds means that the 4 angels of Euphrates are released. When the 6th trumpet is sounded and the 4 angels release the 4 winds, people1/3 are killed by the 200000000 horsemen, and the beasts appear.
While the beasts persecute the saints[35], the eternal gospel is proclaimed by the sealed saints[36], and the saints are freed from the persecution with the sounding of the 7th trumpet.[37] The saints who are resurrected or transformed are caught up[38] to meet the LORD Jesus in the air[39], and the 7 golden bowl plagues are poured out on the earth.[40] Around the end of the 7 plagues, Satan summons his armies to Armageddon.[41] The beast defies the LORD Jesus after it burns the Babylon prostitute[42], and the LORD Jesus who caught up His firstfruits into the air, comes down even to the earth and defeat the armies of the beast.[43]

[1] Rev.9:12 The first woe is past. Behold, there are still two woes coming after this. The sixth angel sounded. I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had one trumpet, "Free the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!" The four angels were freed who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year, so that they would kill one third of mankind.

[2] Rev.7:4 I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:

[3] Rev.8:1 When he opened the seventh seal, there followed a silence in heaven for about half an hour. I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

[4] Rev.14:1 I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.

Rev.14:4 These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless.

[5] Rev.11:3 I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

[6] Rev.14:6 I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people.

[7] Rev.9:18 By these three plagues were one third of mankind killed: by the fire, the smoke, and the sulfur, which proceeded out of their mouths. For the power of the horses is in their mouths, and in their tails. For their tails are like serpents, and have heads, and with them they harm.

[8] Rev.10:1 I saw a mighty angel coming down out of the sky, clothed with a cloud. A rainbow was on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. He had in his hand a little book open. He set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land.

[9] Rev.10:8 The voice which I heard from heaven, again speaking with me, said, "Go, take the book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land."

[10] Rev.10:10 I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my belly was made bitter. They told me, "You must prophesy again over many peoples, nations, languages, and kings."

[11] Dan.7:17 These great animals, which are four, are four kings, who shall arise out of the earth.

[12] Dan.7:18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.

[13] Rev.10:10 I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my belly was made bitter. They told me, "You must prophesy again over many peoples, nations, languages, and kings."

[14] Rev.7:2 I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!"

[15] John3:33 He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.

[16] Rev.12:14 Two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, so that she might be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

[17] Rev.11:3 I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands, standing before the Lord of the earth. If anyone desires to harm them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies. If anyone desires to harm them, he must be killed in this way. These have the power to shut up the sky, that it may not rain during the days of their prophecy. They have power over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.

[18] Rev.13:6 He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, those who dwell in heaven. It was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed.

[19] Rev.13:2 The beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

[20] Rev.13:11 I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.

[21] Rev.11:15 The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!"

[22] 1Cor.15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.

[23] 1Thess.4:16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.

[24] Dan.12:1 "At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book. Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

[25] Rev.9:14 saying to the sixth angel who had one trumpet, "Free the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!"

[26] Rev.13:7 It was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed.

[27] Rev.9:4 They were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men who don't have God's seal on their foreheads.

[28] Rev.7:2 I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!"

[29] Dan.7:2 Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the sky broke forth on the great sea. Four great animals came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

[30] Rev.9:14 saying to the sixth angel who had one trumpet, "Free the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!" The four angels were freed who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year, so that they would kill one third of mankind.

[31] Rev.13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads, blasphemous names. The beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

[32] Rev.7:1 After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree. I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!"

[34] Rev.9:4 They were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men who don't have God's seal on their foreheads.

[35] Rev.13:5 A mouth speaking great things and blasphemy was given to him. Authority to make war for forty-two months was given to him. He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, those who dwell in heaven. It was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him.

[36] Rev.11:2 Leave out the court which is outside of the temple, and don't measure it, for it has been given to the gentiles. They will tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months. I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

[37] Rev.11:15 The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!"

[38] Rev.11:12 I heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here!" They went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies saw them.

[39] 1Thess.4:16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.

[40] Rev.15:1 I saw another great and marvelous sign in the sky: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them God's wrath is finished.

[41] Rev.16:12 The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates. Its water was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that come from the sunrise. I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs; for they are spirits of demons, performing signs; which go forth to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of that great day of God, the Almighty.

[42] Rev.17:16 The ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and will make her desolate, and will make her naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.

[43] Rev.19:11 I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it is called Faithful and True. In righteousness he judges and makes war.https://youtu.be/AupisuARmgQ?feature=shared
